Alabamas are just like micro umbrellas rigs.. if it works use it.. it would be interesting to see how the Alabama hardware would hold up to a migratory sized striper???
Hi Paul! You can get them at Dicks Sporting goods or Bass Pro Shops. The one I usually use is called a Flash Mob Jr. Then you need to add swimbaits and jig heads on the swimbaits. Hook them up to the clips on the rig. Your only allowed 2 of the baits in Maryland to have hooks on them. Make sure that's the bottom 2 because the fish feed up. The other 3 you can't have hooks and just use swimbaits with no hooks. Tight lines bro!
Some friends and I are taking a charter boat out towards the end of the month. Thanks for your tip about the Alabama rig and only using two hooks. Much appreciated!
Catch them all summer long on lures 70 miles up the Hudson river 57 stripers from June 30 to Aug 15
Nice!
Uh... there's one good reason nobody's using it as rigged in MD. It's illegal.
It is only illegal if it has more than 2 hooks.
@@HookedRealityFishingit looks like it has about 6 swimbaits
@bneckshippers doesn't matter about swimbaits just hooks on the baits
@@conrad_Mjust like when trolling with a umbrella rig it only has 2 hooks the rest of the swim baits are just clipped on without hooks
yea looks like each one has a hook definitely illegals
Good job stepping on the fish.

I’m sure some are built better then others. You get a 40-50lb striper on there that a whole different animal
Only allowed 2 hooks on a line in MD. Bro!
Why step on the fish?
B/c he's a fucking baby.
Bird poop is known to be good luck!🤣😂
Damn birds! Heheheh

Dude, cmon, why is the A-rig still in this video?
@@prestigeworldwide5538 not sure what you mean?
It’s in the video because that’s what I caught the majority of the fish on that day
Stop stepping on the fish Jesus lord grab the thing and unhook it.
