We had an amazing day on Father’s Day at the upper Chesapeake Bay. We ended up with 37 bass. 90% of them came on a spinner bait. The conditions just happen to be perfect for it!

I don’t think that’s a straight shank hook; seems like an offset shank to me. Otherwise, great instructions!
@@FishOn1 did I say straight shank? If I did I was definitely wrong. It’s an o’shaughnessy style. Not a round bend.

Maybe another reason they were on that spinnerbait was the fish were feeding on small bait.A spinnerbait looks like a small school of baitfish with those blades.Hooking those fish on the outside of the mouth like that makes it like they were aggressivly attacking it like they would on a school of bait.Great job,great memories made .❤

@@kayacatal yes. Used the external cable and quick connects for when my batteries got low I could hook up 2 fresh ones

Unfortunately you can be at the bump tank and they will ask if you’re weighing. I got knocked to 3rd first hour Sunday same deal. 4 people declared they were weighing in the waining seconds and one ended up weighing a 5 🤦♂️
Oh I learned my lesson this year. So much of it is strategy. Last year I had a 4.37 and the boat ran rough so we didn’t make it in the hour we wanted. Would have been in 10th if we made it. Turns out we weighed in the next hour and got 2nd. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

@@sautterfishing You really should. I've done a bunch of testing and the Alberto normally comes in at around 90% of line strength or better. Before I leave the house, I always tie an FG, but out on the water, I go to the Alberto because I can tie it quickly. Most important step that most people leave out is to cinch the Alberto down hard before fishing it. Makes a really small castable knot.

@sautterfishing the locking mechanism broke and they refused to give a full refund. They lost it's a bad design. When break you can't reverse motor flies out of the water

Does the way the cable from the battery to the motor get in the way of the tiller? I was thinking of getting one with an external battery then noticed had that cable had to come around of the top of the tiller. It looks like the cable will limit you making a turn to the side.
