Come to the mouth of the Connecticut River. My dad and I have caught 170 fish in 3 outings dating back to last weekend. They were mostly Hickory Shad, but they were blitzing on bait like these Stripers.
On your second fish you could see the top hook that flew out of his mouth as you were pulling it up definitely not a snag. But when nobody else is catching any fish especially the older crew. They tend to get Jealous really easy. I know you're used to that by now.
The first thing I noticed about this reel is its weight ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k . I wouldn't say it was uncomfortable but it was a little heavier than other similarly sized reels. However, that didn't deter my enjoyment of how smooth this reel is. I spooled it with 20lb. Tuf-Line XP and it's perfect for what I use it for. I have it paired with an 8'6" Medium/Fast Okuma SST Salmon/Steelhead rod. The combination is perfect for casting and even drifting. I used the reel all day and didn't experience any arm or hand fatigue except when fighting a few fish! The bail is solid and feels strong when engaging by reeling and manually closing the bail by hand. The large rubber handle grip is very comfortable. It's got a powerful drag, silky smooth reeling, and feels very comfortable in the hands. I recommend it!
I've made my living off that water, fished that spot tons. I've seen fish breaking like that in 20 different spot's at once especially year's ago. I've seen blues and rock breaking at the same time. Also caught a few huge fish in the mix. As always, hello to all my Maryland fishermen.
hello! I grew up on the st Marys river, gotta love breakers. I've gotten into them in October where the rocks and blues are up high and the trout are eating below them
1rod, I request you do a catch and cook, I know you don’t normally do it and probably don’t like fish that much, but you should do a challenge with your dad and have your mom see who’s tastes better! Catch and Cook Off!

Eels are Cobia candy. Big Rockfish on eel too… A couple years ago we trolled through a feeding school and had all 9 rods go down at one time. All 30 inch fish. Was phenomenal. A few doubles as well
I like how you guys didn't just cut the lure off and leave the bird with some line tangled on it. Yall even un twisted the line to free the bird up. Good job!!!
Great footage man. Remember these are battle fish like if you catch a bluefish you need to gain control of it to remove the hook so you grab the fish by the back of the neck firmly by the gills to then remove the hook and you know a bluefish bites hard so you can not let him bite you. Bluefish are good eating.. Great video
Man, that is my favorite time of the year fishing the bay! Hoping to cruise into one of those frenzy's on my kayak! Great video footage and awesome catching! Here's a tip... grab the top of the lure and then plier to hook for removal. Keeps you in better control of the flopping Striper (Rockfish here in MD). Just subbed, thanks for some killer content!
I was in Alabama and had red fish do the same it was insane I could have netted a couple but catching them on line and hook is the best love the videos
Nobody becomes a millionaire or billionaire by working for others and depending on them, good Investment breed millions of dollars and consistency breed billions
Very cool seeing that much bait and that many stripers feeding! Definitely a scaled up version of what we look for in NC during the fall with the shad and Spotted bass. I usually try throwing a swimbait so I can let it sink below the school in hopes there are bigger fish down there.
I think this pandemic has taught people the importance of multiple streams of income, unfortunately having a job doesn't mean security rather having different investments is the real deal.

You use snaps a lot. I always did until told it's better to tie on directly? I havnt noticed difference? What do you recommend fresh water? Bass.? Nice underwater that's epic.. Nice biggest of day👍. Ty
Snaps are only recommended for saltwater or more aggressive fish that aren’t line shy. Makes it easy to switch lures and gives you more time to actually fish. Freshwater fish like largemouth bass should just tie directly
haha far out that was epic. this reminds me of ur old video where you were in a boat trolling for those giant stripers and u were struggling to lift the fish with the scale haha

Might not be the best idea with how many channels have to take off their videos due to UA-cam’s new regulations.
