  • This piano improvisation was recorded at 60 beats per minute (bpm), a tempo associated with resting heart rate and elevated states of consciousness. Use it as a pacemaker during yoga/tai-chi classes, or for meditation, concentration, and relaxation purposes, including for knocking you out before bed time.

    Good luck Meike :)
    the world depends on you. You always did your best, I'm confident you're doing your best right now...as I type this message for good luck to you. Perhaps you don't know but you have an angel by your side who thinks about you, right now, while you're making this important step to let your voice be heard to the word. The beauty of our world exists into little beautiful moments like this one now, where you are somewhere reading and recording, and I'm somewhere else typing this but we hear the same music right now. Yes I'm listening to the same music with you right now and I hope a bit of my soul travels into these wires and through this same music it finds your ears and blends a little with my whisper to you...as I say to you....it's okay :) let the moment inspire you.
    It's gonna be fine :) it's gonna be perfect :) cause I believe in you. You can do this better than any one else right now.
    And there are so many who believe in us right now.
    This is our power, this is why we make the best gifts for them.
    Hey, you are smiling right now Meike I know cause I am too.
    We are creators, we capture time with a recording like in a photo that will always stay the same in time. Fresh, young, ageless. We put time in a bottle my beautiful soul and this bottle will taste like fine old wine within time and will always be there vanishing thirst from those who have seek help in us. You are important as I am.
    Sometimes what people need is a little good luck kiss, so here was mine for you.
    With love F.C.

    I will be using this for relaxation/rest time for my TK (4 year old) class starting tomorrow... Thank you! ... I just clicked on the link again to start the music again for myself as I work in my classroom this Sunday afternoon. I hate that the "I hate pooping in public" ad comes up before your beautiful, relaxing music. I'll have to start the music before the kids come in. The subject of "pooping" will send them flying up to the ceiling in hysterics....

      +Paul Kiss Glad you liked it! All music influences the mind. It just depends on how we want our mind to be influenced. In all our music, we try to be clear about the intentions behind it.
      There are many times, however, in everyday life that we listen to or hear music that does not have the effects in line with our intentions. Wishing you the best!

    60 BPM stands for 60 beats per minute, the speed your heart is usually at when you sleep. When you listen to music, your BPM adjusts to the speed of the music, so this is meant to be sleep music. It's cool that it works well for studying, gotta try it out when school starts.

    Me pueden decir si esta música es ideal para memorizar??

    • @wholeBody
      @wholeBody  4 роки тому

      There is no sheet music. It was created with a standard tempo (60 BPM, 4/4), standard key (see description of pieces), and with a standard 4-chord structure. The notes themselves were improvised, and the album recorded after a couple months of deep meditation. So the only way to memorize it would be to create sheet music of the notes (which does not currently exist; though some may be working on it); or to memorize the structure and improvise within it! Hope this helps!

    I came to this video because I'm starting to think something might be wrong with me. Ask me how I feel at 10 (sometimes 11) o'clock at night and I feel like I could run around my neighborhood a few times. I know I'm a night owl for sure, but it's getting a little far. I normally fall asleep about 10:00 pm, but quite often I find myself awake at 11:30 pm. When I'm active at night, I can stay up for hours and hours. It's this normal?

    • @wholeBody
      @wholeBody  7 років тому +1

      From my own perspective, the most relevant factor in our sleep is what we do in the day. If our day is filled with activities that challenge us, and make us feel we have used up our energy effectively, then we will sleep deeply, especially if there is a time at which we must get up the next day. Other things can affect our sleep well, such as caffeine consumed through chocolate, coffee or energy drinks - which again exert more of an effect when we haven't found a structure or container for using our energy.
      Before starting some classes this summer, I had six weeks between when I left work and returned to the US (I was living in China). During this time, I followed my own whims. Often times I found myself staying up to the wee hours of the morning on walks outside. It seems now that I have commitments I must attend to again, my sleep schedule is normalizing.
      However, it's important to keep in mind the effect of the seasons to. Its the longest part of the year (at least in the northern hemisphere), and this affects our circadian rhythm. It is natural to have more energy, to want to go to sleep later and get up earlier. If you're awake and with energy, I think the most productive thing to do is to find a way to use it - whether this is on a walk outside, or on something a little more challenging (for me this was memorizing and writing Chinese characters). If there is mind-body engagement (often absent when we are trying to sedate ourselves using TV shows or other media), this can help use up our energy in a productive way - allowing us to feel calmer, more relaxed, and more able to sleep.
      If I have a lot on my mind, I know I sleep much more soundly if I find a way to process it. Usually through a long walk in a pretty area.
      I don't think there's anything wrong about being active at night if the conditions of our life allow us to do so (such as when I was on my vacation). The night is exceptionally quiet, and can offer peace in places that are normally hectic in the day. If it is not interfering with our functioning, I say embrace the pattern while its there.
      If it is a problem, explore the concepts above. Full days lead to full sleep. I hope this helps! There is nothing wrong with you, for sure :)

      It's all recorded meticulously at 60 bpm, maybe you're thinking of the individual notes at times? The four chord structure that changes every four beats follows that tempo.
