hitchhiking in HONDURAS - hitchhiking Mexico to Colombia / Central America

Before heading to El Salvador, (where I was before Honduras) I had some suspicions about the safety of the country, and what it would actually be like. Of corse, I had an incredible time and was gifted by the kindness of strangers, this gave me more hope to go and discover Honduras, which is also stereotypically a very 'dangerous' country.
I couchsurfed for two weeks, and hitchhiked around the country with a Facebook travel group.
