The world is a much much sadder place without you Iohan. By sharing your crazy-almostimpossibleadventures- with anyone willing to listen and open their eyes...you made us richer and happier than most. RIP Iohan, I will continue to mention and talk about your trip from AK to Argentina for as long as I have a breath left in my body.
you are a true inspiration to all humans ;) nothing is impossible nor off limits. I have been watching you since you started and I only wish I was out there as well. peace & love be with you my bicycle brother ;)
Yes that is me. Have not tried them yet, because i have not travelled to the US to get the appropriate wheel set, which i will order form the guy you put me in contact, but i believe that i will travel on November. That crossing of the Darien gap, was really Epic
So much harm and trouble in the world and then you come along with your amazing films. There is hope. Thank you for being and thank you for posting. Stay safe. Xavier Rudd - Follow the Sun is a beautiful song in keeping with your journeys. Loved your advice for dealing with dogs and donkeys.
I know you have gone. I still watch your videos. Especially when I'm down, struggling and confused. No one comes close to the inspiration you give. Miss you Iohan
Gran video, realmente captaste lo que es viajar solo por tierra extraña, esa libertad y la incertidumbre de lo que puede pasar en un viaje como este, fue muy emotivo, gracias por compartir.
Wow. You smile even when you're getting robbed and stung by bees. I am loving your journeys and I admire your spirit and courage. Truly inspiring stuff. And chasing dogs with your bike and passing trucks on the highway... kudos to you!
Always inspiring. Always positive. Always a struggle. Always difficulties. ALWAYS worth it. As a fellow bike tourer myself, I share all those great moments with you. Cheers and thankyou. support is on its way.
Superb video - Guatemala just as I remember it. Thank you! I introduced a friend to your videos recently. He is from Australia and we met as he biked across Canada. We began with watching your arctic far north video and he was hooked immediately because he could see you were authentic.
You're films are truly inspiring. Thank you for allowing us all to see the world and good in humanity. Sure their are bad people but I would like to believe that there are more good people in the world and in your films you capture that. Be safe and I hope your travels bring you happiness. Greetings from Oregon....
+Iohan Gueorguiev Hey Iohan, I just wanted to say you make some amazing videos. I just picked up some equipment to start bikepacking. Thank you for doing what you're doing man. Hope we cross paths sometime! Best of luck on your Travels!
Francis b idk how old you are but do something like this at least once before you start a family. even if it's just your local state, it will be an experience to remember for the rest of your life.
You are legend...big big inspiration to me. Thank you for these videos. I surprisingly just found these recently. This should have been all over tv, best videos I have seen. You have some big balls going through the areas you did. No fear just will power to keep pushing. Keep up the hard work!
just found your videos and am very much enjoying traveling the world with you. I wish I could support your patreon, but will save up and support you as soon as I can. Thanks for posting these! Best wishes
Iohan, I thought 7 was good, then this episode just blew me away! Amazing footage. I see you biking across these incredible ridge lines and think, you had to get your bike all the way up there!
Does anything bother this man? He's unbelievable. By far the best videos I have so far come across UA-cam in some 5-6 years. Good on you Iohan for living life to the full.
Brother you have been an inspiration and a blessing to innumerable people. Man you inspire people to do good. Thankyou happy traveling and hopefully we cross paths because im southbound.
I would have never known that Guatemala was so full of Volcanic activity and such beautiful scenery if not for your adventurous 'trail less traveled' spirit of exploration. With the exception of the 'camera chase' (I would have let it go- then again, all those photos..) I find it very poignant for the kindness offered to you throughout your series by the same, simple people that are sidelined, ignored and often abused by 'organized society'. Ride on Iohan. You're travels inspire me with the wonderment of Nature and the goodness of the human spirit.
in Guatemala not everything is so bad, I regret what happened with the robbery of your camera, you are always welcome to this land . have good routes, greetings from Guatemala
you are a true inspiration, please keep safe and watching your videos now I am going to ride Yellowstone next April, did the car thing last summer(2016) super pumped for my bike trip in 2017, yeeewwwww!
Catching up on the older episodes. One hears that those areas are really dangerous, but you navigated it successfully. Blissful ignorance saw you through. You must have a powerful guardian angel. Thanks for sharing! :-)
I really enjoyed your adventure. We are planning Alaska to Argentina soon but in a camper van. I ride but don't think I could do it your way..WELL DONE
Thanks for the great videos and all the shots of volcanoes. I am glad you got your camera back, and made good choices to avoid more banditos. I sure wish you would wear a high visibility vest or shirt when you are in traffic :)
Man, Iohan you are becoming such a hero to me. Unbelievable what you experience. You must be the ultimate adventurer for sure. Living a dream like no one does. I am a faithful fan of yours. Please keep posting your fantastically beautiful videos. They are simply amazing. Love them lots and lots. This probably is one of my favorites for sure. Just awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Awe inspiring Iojan. Brought a tear to my eye when you shouted at the sunrise on top of the volcano. One of your best I think. Stay safe and happy. Do you have a means of receiving donations mate? I don't have much but could contribute something.
It’s almost midnight on August 12, 2020 and I have been planning a very long bike trip like this. I know people in all parts of Mexico, central and South America.
amazing life you are living...you are truly winning at this game of life...Godspeed to you....couple of bike questions? why did you choose the surly troll for your adventure?? and would you choose it again?? your thoughts on using a rohloff ??? Disc brakes mechanical or hydraulic?? hank you for letting us ride with you....
hey, i picked the troll because of the big tire clearance and extra mounting options. I think i may prefer a lighter aluminum bike if i were doing it over again. Ive heard good things about rohloff, if you can afford it - get one. I use mechanical but when i rode a bike with hydraulic they were pretty awesome. cheers
I love your interaction with the local people. When I go out for the bicycle tour I'm always afraid to talk with the local people, or I just cannot develop a good communication or something like that. I think I have missed a lot of fun of that part.
hey, cool documentary of your difficult travel! Please the next time you upload a video, kindly include the moment when you set up your tent and when you prepare your meal and up until u finish eating it. thank you! always have a safe trip!
Bleu7 that´s not that dangerous as most people think. just listen to the locals. I´ve traveld latin america several times and i´ve never been robbed or anything. can happen to you in the US as well.
Getting robbed can happen to you really everywhere. In Christchurch New Zealand somebody stole some of my shirts from the drying line - which is crazy. Also in a Hostel in Copenhagen somebody stole my Laptop. Both times this happened in Hostels and in countrys with very low crime rates but i have been in so many Hostels already that i still think Hostels are in general pretty save. My 2cents: be extra careful in bigger citys and in tourist areas. The Professional thieves will mostly be in those places.
Hi Iohan, I have been loving these videos. I'm wondering, did you get sick at all, colds, flu, stomach bugs? and if so, how did you take care of yourself?
Lohan thanks for these video's an your time with creating them. I find watching these very relaxing an feel I'm traveling with you :).. You are a courageous soul and I admire you for that... You've been doing this for many years and I hope you continue. But also one day I hope you can settle down, get married and have a family, if this is important to you of course. Be safe, God Bless you and take care....
A true legend. I still enjoy watching Johan’s videos even though his no longer with us.

How's work going balleur? That anxiety stuff can be a killer. Don't let it get topside of u.
Wow, I'm doing the same thing. I hate work.
balleur Unless youre in shape once you hit the 10 mile stone you'd be wishing to be at work lol
Claudia Moran he never said he'd do 100 miles a day, even 10 miles a day would be fun. then enjoy the wilderness of where you end up at.
balleur You and me both.

Yes that is me. Have not tried them yet, because i have not travelled to the US to get the appropriate wheel set, which i will order form the guy you put me in contact, but i believe that i will travel on November. That crossing of the Darien gap, was really Epic

I'm always on the edge of my seat when I watch your videos. You are living life, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Thanks for taking us along.
I can't wait tell I'm old enough to go on bike packing adventure your videos are so inspiring
Francis b idk how old you are but do something like this at least once before you start a family. even if it's just your local state, it will be an experience to remember for the rest of your life.
So many volcanos. Most if not all we never hear about. So glad you got your camera back - without conflict i hope. Another excellent journey lohan ;)

Another wonderful episode. I am also a traveler on a budget but I will send you some money when I can. You have entertained me greatly.
While I was writing someone bought tires from me on eBay. I sent the profit to your gofundme page.

You're an animal whisperer and animals can sense good in people. This is why you make so many friends during your travels.
That's exactly what I was thinking..a genuine animal whisperer.

Yes, you need a bit of craziness to go through all this. Great that everything was ok for your safety in the end. Well done, happy ride!!! : )

IOhan I am glad to see hitting the road, I am from El Salvador be careful with SM 13 do not get closed to up town nice trip amigo
Thank You for sharing your experience , interesting ! God Bless You
Very nice, thanks for sharing!
How do you keep you cameras and GPS gear charged during your trips?
A 20W solar cell and a battery will charge anything from phone to a laptop.
You have balls of steel, going downhill chasing some stranger who stole your camera!
blutch222 thats what scares me about riding a bicycle in Mexico or Central America. all the hoodlums
Bleu7 that´s not that dangerous as most people think. just listen to the locals. I´ve traveld latin america several times and i´ve never been robbed or anything. can happen to you in the US as well.
S.A. Paita Your paranoia will stick out like a sore thumb. The Latin world will be far better off if you just stay home.
Getting robbed can happen to you really everywhere. In Christchurch New Zealand somebody stole some of my shirts from the drying line - which is crazy. Also in a Hostel in Copenhagen somebody stole my Laptop. Hardcore brother! Damn!!! Well done!
Some of the most beautiful scenary can only be appreciated with a bicycle
Man the way you travel dangerous countries like that. Very risky but props to you. I probably wouldn't dare, even though they are so beautiful.
So, the police go with you on top of the volcano just because...no reason???.. jaja.. amazing video again.
Hi Iohan, I have been loving these videos. I'm wondering, did you get sick at all, colds, flu, stomach bugs? and if so, how did you take care of yourself?
no, never sick. one time i think i had overexhaustion and could not walk for two days (right after volcan tajumulco)
what an immune system!
Margot Brinn I was just wondering the same thing...sick from bad food or water. Apparently he has a gut of steel!
Thank you for sharing your adventure. :)
you are my hero brooo!!
Lohan thanks for these video's an your time with creating them. I find watching these very relaxing an feel I'm traveling with you :).. You are a courageous soul and I admire you for that...
