    How can you be this biased towards Alireza. Imagine Hikaru calling ur dad crazy, would you have let that slide? Just because Hikaru has more followers doesnt mean you should keep to his good side. What disgusts me is why did he even posted a fake congratulatory video on twitter

    Alireza wanting a short break in between matches that dragged on because of server issues isn’t unreasonable. Hikaru having a meltdown because of a short delay is unreasonable. Hikaru is a diva. That’s why he deleted the Kick VOD. Alireza was better end of story.

      True but understandable. Naka has dominated bullet so much that i sinceresly don't count first match as Nakas level play. But still Alireza won fair and square both matches and 2nd match were more important in my eyes, because Naka did play his best and still lost. Alireza is always unpredictable he beat Magnus last year and Magnus managed to beat him in the loser bracket but not without a big fight from Alireza.
      He was 3rd in my book after Naka nd Magnus but he is probably 1st now. Danya and Nihal 4 and 5 respectively

    Please note those personal insult that hikaru made on face! was at score 4 to 9 on middle of games. So hikaru should apologize right at that moment or being banned immediately. Personal insult is NOT part of normal chess reaction!

    Idk why some ppl is still defending hikaru about his attitude saying its justified. 1st of all i will agree the break Alireza demand was unreasonable given its not following the schedule. But calling some1s family crazy along w the f and b word?? For some reason Hikaru also decide to called out chessbrah just because they are commentating. IF U GUYS STILL THINK HIKARU IS INNOCENT, just remember he actually deleted the vods from that stream JUST so most ppl cant see the clips. Hows that for innocent? Hes literally deleting proof. If some1 callled ur dad n brother crazy what would u have felt?

    • @jorisbuck4073
      @jorisbuck4073 12 днів тому

      I think it was rather a request than a demand, which Hikaru agreed to. He should not have been whining afterwards if he agreed in the first place. But if the rumours are true, Alireza said he would possibly forfeit if he had no break, which isn't great from him either but somewhat understandable. He had to play these loser bracket matches first which were delayed due to server issues, so Alireza had little to no rest as a result. 20 minutes isn't that much either, I don't think that request was unreasonable at all. For the rest I agree with everything you said.

  • @mdjahidbiswas2060
    @mdjahidbiswas2060 11 днів тому +3

    Beacause of server problems Alireza's previous match took more time. He deserves the rest. Hikaru first agreed but when he started losing he acted like a Devil

  • @tox_ph0b0s80

    I don't understand Hikaru's 'side' at all tbh outside of one minor detail.
    From everything I've read upon this. There was supposed to be approximately a 20 minute buffer between when Ali's prior match ended and the final starts. The website they were using was fucking up and caused the match to go longer than it should have (Not Ali's falt) so therefore, he should absolutely be afforded the 20 minute interval in between games. No one should have had to 'ask' Hikaru if he was okay with it, but they definitely should have told him what was going on. Idk why you're ever let someone sit there for 20 minutes. We're all online and on the internet, we're not having to send physical mail across the country. It takes literally seconds to let him know what was going on.
    As for tournament sponsors, if you can't wait 20 minutes to protect the competitive integrity of the tournament you're sponsoring then idk what we're even doing here.
    On a similar note, fuck Hikaru's stream? I don't say that with anything against Hikaru. No issue with him streaming the event obviously, but that doesn't mean we're now making tournament decisions based off his stream.

      Thanks for this much better reporting. I found it very helpful. When Magnus loses he gets angry with himself -- except -- when he tried to shame Hans which I hope he regrets now. Hikaru has tried his best to shame Alireza. But the shame of being a bad loser will stick to him until he apologizes. Neither Magnus or Hikaru had a problem playing their opponent until they lost!! Kramnik is of course a serial whiner

    Nakamura should have taken the higher moral ground and allowed a one hour rest to alireza so that the match would be fair. Alireza was brought in a coffin for the final. Yet he won. Kudos to Alireza. Also it was so un nakamura like to do that disrespectful rant on the phone.

      I seriously am not sure if it is sarcasm for you to say it was un nakamura like. Maybe I am in a too serious mood and read it in an unsarcastical way but to be clear to anyone reading this I want to share the following. This has been nakamura like behavior for about 15 years now. The reason we have not seen much of it in the last couple of years is because of the fact that hikaru gained a large following of new players in chess. Most started being interested in chess in the covid period and barely missed the chessbrah incident back then where hikaru tried to get rid of the canadians chess channel. It is hard to stay in character for a long time so it finally showed hikaru's true nature.

    What you do with your kick sponsorship with main page is your business. - Above all players should be given equal opportunity to win. It's a common sense - if one player has already played two matches - then obviously they are more tired then the other. It's not too big of a request to delay the match by merely 20 minutes. Online matches allows this flexibilities then we should use it. (Similar to how letting your clock run out in this format while would be considered very rude in on board tournaments - is acceptable in online matches.)
    On the other hand verbally abusing/insulting someone and ranting and stopping the match while in progress as a dirty trick to change the momentum during the game should NOT be acceptable. And to complain about other person destroying you 9.5 to 4.5 after 20 minutes rest is just immature.! Ultimately, result speaks for itself.

In Bullet Brawls Danny is catching up to Hikaru. Hikaru is no doubt is very good bullet player. And not to say that he can't be GOAT in future but he is not now.
