  • (Inspired by Mixed Media Girl here on UA-cam !!) :)
    Products Used:
Flood Floetrol Latex Based (found at most hardware stores in the paint section)
    Dixie Belle Paints: affiliate links
    Cotton (white)
    Pacific (blue): bit.ly/2YPAnrP
    Gold Digger (gold): bit.ly/2YPAnrP
    Steel Magnolia: bit.ly/2YPAnrP
Dixie Belle Clear Coat in Gloss: bit.ly/2TihBVW
Slick Stick (Bonding Primer) : bit.ly/31uuEZ6
You don't have to use a bonding primer but it helps keep your paint from scratching for years to come.
Ornaments: You can do this on glass or plastic bulbs. I got mine at the Dollar Store. You can usually find them at any craft store as well.
This is an easy way to customize your holiday ornaments using your left over chalk mineral paints. Its fun, easy and inexpensive to do .

Your reuse of the poured paint is genius!! I did some poured ornaments and it uses a lot of paint. I used the poured paint to make more ornaments w/a stick but I love this no worry recycle idea much better.

Those are just gorgeous. I've always thought this, paint pour, would be much more complicated, but I think my granddaughters and I will give it try! We try something new each Christmas 🎄 thanks for the video.

Seems like paint pour waste lot of paint...can I use the "stick thick" stuff inside the ornament so paint adheres better?

Love the tutorials! Have you ever tried to do this with old glass or plastic ornaments? It would be a great way to recycle old ornaments that have chipped paint on them. I have TONS of them.

As far as putting glitter on, when would you suggest doing that after putting the first coat of sealer on it or would it be okay to put the glitter in the sealer that way you wouldn't have one Big blob of glitter, that's what I'm having a problem with

I've seen these FIFO bottles you mentioned in some of your other videos and I love the idea!! I assume they must seal well and keep your paint in good condition or you would not use them, but how well do they do with not leaking? I am horrid at pouring paints (and not making a mess or losing product), especially when mixing colors, and these looked like a dream solution. I was just curious on your overall experience with them before I buy and move some of my paint into them. Mad

You don't have to use bonding primer like Slick Stick, you will just need to be a little more gentle with them when you pack them up for next year.

These are so effective and gorgeous but it bothers me that you waste so much paint. Surely there must be a way you could “ collect” the run off paint to re pour it?

Sarah once the paint is dry,mit makes paint skins and can be used for jewelry and other paint skin crafts.

hello, because English is not my native language and sometimes (because of dialect) I have the same difficulty with others...
if you have patience you can change the time in the video, you will see what she is doing more slowly but also the speech is much slower
or you can open the subtitles and read what you don't understand by pausing the video so you don't miss the action
