Thanks Kirsten😘 I appreciate that! If I have any piece of advice, that is not to do multiple techniques at the same time. Focus on one thing and get comfortable with it and then move on. When I first started, I tried doing multiple things all at once, and for me, I got lost.
@@LouiseMcKayArt Agreed! I always want to learn new mediums and new techniques, but I have to slow down my roll sometimes.😅 Just one thing at a time til I really learn it.
Thank you Teresa, glad this full tutorial was helpful. My only advice about setting up lights is set them up so that when you’re looking on an angle at the resin pour, you’re able to see the light reflection that catches any debris in the resin.

How unique! I love your color palettes! And your tutorial was thorough. Much appreciated. I'm curious...what is the price range in which you sell these gorgeous creations?
Thank you, 😘Rebecca and welcome! I appreciate you being here and leaving your thoughts and hopefully my tutorials will keep you engaged and have you subscribing😀 regarding your question, I’m frequently asked questions about pricing and I don’t answer what I sell my creations for because it’s based on this market here in Asheville, cost of my materials, the quality of my pieces, my time and what it’s worth to me to move pieces so I can create more. You have to find out your price point in your area given these considerations. Hope that helps, but I really can’t tell you what to price your pieces at. That’s really your call.
Oh Patricia, genius😀 such a simple fix and I’m sure sure you are right. I will try it as I have 12 jars. I’m scheduled to create for someone. Thank you so much.🧡
Thank you Theresa😘, I use the alcohol spritz on a paper towel to clean the piece before I resin it to get off any oils from my hands or debris. Welcome, I hope you stick around.😉
As always, ma’am, your creations are superb most beautiful! You mentioned that you would answer questions so I have one question for you. Please actually have a whole bunch, but I’ll break it down to just one today. You noticed that the PPG formula was giving you extra bubbles at one point, I’m also finding that with the batch I bought. You also mentioned that if you placed it on the heater it would help dissipate the bubbles. That sounds pretty straightforward, but I’m wondering if you could elaborate what type of heater and how long? Once again, thank you 1 million !! Thank you for your service your country ma’am
@@andiortega4164 hi AndI thank you for being here. I’ve said early on when I had problems with bubbles and multipro I would put them on the dryer, the electric dryer were the vibration would help shake them and the air bubbles out. I’ve since started using a vacuum chamber where I put my batch in there and let the vacuum pump, pump out the air. Please don’t confuse how I try to get rid of bubbles to how I tried to thin down my paints in the winter time with the heater. If you’re curious about the vacuum pump and vacuum chamber, just go to one of my recent videos and I have the Amazon description you can copy and paste onto Amazon site

Hello Shadi and thank you for being here, but I will give you the standard answer I give for my pricing I’m frequently asked questions about pricing and I don’t answer what I sell my creations for because it’s based on this market here in Asheville, cost of my materials, the quality of my pieces, my time and what it’s worth to me to move pieces so I can create more. You have to find out your price point in your area given these considerations. Hope that helps, but I really can’t tell you what to price your pieces at. That’s really your call.
Thanks for video ! my resin gets wavy looking or I get dimples ! The highest temperature I can go is 73 if I bring them upstairs . I work in my basement. And I read resin is toxic so I use the respirator mask but upstairs where it is warm - I’m afraid of inhaling fumes. Do you think my resin issue is the temperature ?
IDK, it definitely depends on what resin you use because not all resin is created equally. Having a warm environment for resin is always preferable. You could put a heat lamp over the top of it. Maybe that would help, which resin are you using?
I know this is an older video, but how long do you allow your paint to cure prior to resin, and how long does the resin need to cure before you can take them to sell? Trying to figure out my time frame that I have left (if any) for a holiday pop up after thanksgiving.

What a wonderful video! Thank you so much. They came out beautiful!
Thanks so much Lisa💕 A couple folks asked for a tutorial so I gave the whole enchilada!
Thank you for this totorial. I was wondering about the rubber band.
Oh on my finger?? To keep the latex glove taut when spreading resin,
It would be better if I had gloves that fit really well, but in this case, I had some slack in it and wanted to tighten it up with my rubber band
Beautiful piece 😍😍😍
Thanks so much Pam😘
Beautiful

Great collection and tutorial.
Thank you so much Susan!💕
If you do a line of jars for your client you might faint from blowing, lol. I love your work
Ha Ivy! 🧡I have gone lightheaded on bigger blows, these jars are pretty safe😂 the old swimmer in me pays off with this technique! If I do a line of jars I may need a flight of beer!😂and O2
So fun Louise! L💜VE IT!

Great instructions!💯👍 They turn out so stunning! I'll need to try this for sure!
Lol,...me thinking I just wanna do all the things!😅 I have hardly ever used acrylic paint! Still, this is so beautiful,... I definitely will give it a shot.😊
I always want to learn new mediums and new techniques, but I have to slow down my roll sometimes.😅 Just one thing at a time til I really learn it.
ty so much i enjoy every minute of it they are out of this world can't wait to try it ty again Louise
Thanks so much Carol, go for it!!💙🩵
So beautiful.

Thank you! Very helpful video.
I’m so glad it was helpful. 💕I have another tutorial that covers different types of lids. Just check my playlist for lids.!
Wow this amazing creation ❤
Thank you Antara!💕
This was super helpful thanks. Any chance you can show us how you set up the lights to help you find the dust?
Thank you Teresa, glad this full tutorial was helpful. My only advice about setting up lights is set them up so that when you’re looking on an angle at the resin pour, you’re able to see the light reflection that catches any debris in the resin.
Thank you for sharing your expertise 😊
Thank you very much Karen, glad to share!💕

I absolutely love this idea. I’m a vendor, but I also like to make some of my own products to sell and this is very exciting. Thank you so much for being such a great teacher and being so thorough. And fast. I think I’ve saved every video. I watched so far.
Thank you so much, 😊 Michele, I have a ton of videos, and if you haven’t realized, I’d have a playlist by category to make searching a lot easier. So if you haven’t yet, check out my playlist for coasters, trays, charcuterie, boards, lazy Susan’s…
Very eye catchy
Thanks so much, that’s a good place to start! 😅
That’s really your call.
after you put the tape on the outer ridge/lip, put little cuts in the tape before you fold it over. That should make it easier.
Oh Patricia, genius😀 such a simple fix and I’m sure sure you are right. I will try it as I have 12 jars. I’m scheduled to create for someone. Thank you so much.🧡
What is the alcohol spritz for? Your work is stunning ❤
@@LouiseMcKayArt thank you ma’am! I understand what you’re saying now and thank you for the tip on the chamber I will definitely check that out. Thank you for being so quick to answer my question. Have a beautiful beautiful day.
This is fantastic.
Thanks so much Angela! Glad you enjoyed this!💕
@@LouiseMcKayArt Is multi-pro similar to Kilz?
Had a disposal go bad, caused some mold. Need to get some Kilz, wondering how much to purchase. 😎
@@AngelaDay-y9p no, Kilz is a primer the multi pro is eggshell paint. The sheen matters too 47-3110 is correct
@@LouiseMcKayArt Thank you for the clarification 🙏🏼
Amazing you are so great at your tutorials really well explained I follow ALL of your videos and enjoy doing my coasters as you do. My one problem is I cannot get KS resin in the UK what alternative would you recommend I have used various makes but your KS looks the best.Once again thanks for your great advice. Julie
@@juliewaye7024 thank you so much Julie for all of your support. I’ve only used KS resin because I love it so much, you may want to check out Tilly Douglass. I think she’s from the UK, and I linked one of her resin videos here and maybe you can determine what she’s using. I hope this helps. ua-cam.com/video/ic9sf9-vDn8/v-deo.html
stunning work thanks for sharing,,, may i though an idea, i am a spray painter by trade and we use a tape called fine line tape,,,great for what your doing ;) all my best
Thanks so much for being here and the tip for the fine line tape!!😘😘
Great video! First time watching you. Do you have a place to buy just the lids?
Thank you so much, 😘Cherie, and Welcome! I don’t buy the lids separately. I buy the full jar with the lid and then create the lid from there. I got these from dollar tree. Please be sure to check out my playlists as I have a playlist only for jars and other creations based on category. I do a lot of functional art, coasters, charcuterie, boards, lazy Susans…. I hope to continue earning your viewership🧡🧡.

Holy Moley, thank you SO much Sandra😘💕
Those are beautiful!! I'm curious how much $ to they go for? I have no idea how I would price them if I were to make and sell. TIA ❤
Hello Shadi and thank you for being here, but I will give you the standard answer I give for my pricing
I’m frequently asked questions about pricing and I don’t answer what I sell my creations for because it’s based on this market here in Asheville, cost of my materials, the quality of my pieces, my time and what it’s worth to me to move pieces so I can create more.
I already answered on a previous thread
Not sure if I missed it but how long did you wait for jar lids to dry before resin? Thank you for video, great info
Thanks Barbara, at least 7 days if it’s dry, preferably 10 days to be safe.
Thank you
If you cut small slits in the tape you’ll be able to fit it in the lid better.
Good tip! Thanks🧡
