These are beautiful...I wish we could get the glass ornaments in New Zealand as I remember being able to get in Canada! I also wanted to say that you have a lovely speaking voice, very easy on the ears! 😉😊
Could one do the glitter poly first, let it dry over night; than use acrylic paint inside, to make it more opaque? Have you tired that? Nicely done ornaments; love how you did the ink one!👍🏻👍🏻
Yes I do. First I spray them with a couple of light coats of Krylon UV archival MATTE spray. The matte is important as it won't reactivate the ink. Then after that I can spray with a gloss spray of my choosing. Always start with a light coat and build it up.
😂🤣😅 I just had an idea for those pooled areas of polyacrylic in your balls. You could paint little spikes on the edges (like a virus) and put 2020 inside the spot!
The glitter seems to significantly fall off the sitdes. How long are you waiting to put the glitter in after the polyacrylic. I've been waiting about 5 or so minutes.
I will wait approx 5-10 minutes to let the excess poly acrylic drip out, then add glitter and shake pretty hard. If you have durable ornaments you can tap the ornament on the meaty part of your palm, rotate and do that all over. The. Put them to the side to finish drying overnight. Gently tap to remove any excess, pop the cap back on and you are done.
Thank you.
No more messy glitter ornaments yes 🙌🏼 glitter on the inside awesomeness 💜😊👍🏼
Must trap that sparkly goodness. Personally I like it better in resin.
I make these and they are fun and come out really nice
That chunky glitter is just magical! So pretty!!
Beautiful
Oh WoW! These are really terrific!
I love the glitter on the inside. Keeps those little buggers trapped and you get to do color on the outside.
Very pretty. 👍🤗
LOVE THESE!!!!
That is beautiful, Clara
Awe thanks. Love that sparkle.
Regular poly or water based?
Hi, Clara. I'm so happy for you and can't wait to see what you come up with, I know it'll be gorgeous!
Thank you so much!
Pretty pretty! I love doing glitter on the inside.....lol
Thanks. I like it when glitter is trapped in something. Must contain the sparkle. I don't like it everywhere personally.
Hold that breath! I was with ya! Exquisite ornaments Clara, hope your hubby is well.....
Hee Hee. Thanks, love the bling of the glitter. Super fun. Hubby is doing just fine. Whew.
Wow!!! Gorgeous!
Thanks. I appreciate that.
Thank you! So informative & pretty 💕

I bet this would work with plastic ornaments too. Worth a shot. Thanks. Just starting to get used to hearing my voice.
You can also use pva glue works well also
Excellent. Thanks for sharing.
Clara, you are wonderful. Wishing you and yours a very merry Christmas, and hope for the year ahead.
Awe. Blush. You are very kind and gracious too. Thanks you for being there. Merry Christmas to you and your family too.
Clara...you had me at alcohol...LOL Holy glitter balls, those looks so cool!!
I bet I did! Ha. Holy Glitter Balls. That is sticking!
Will pva/modpoge work this well if I water it down?

I bet that would work. I have added a mica powder later to fill in all the spots and that worked great too. ua-cam.com/video/RvNfRklKUJ4/v-deo.html
Very nice-I have a question-what do you use to seal the outside alcohol inks on the baubles?
Yes I do. First I spray them with a couple of light coats of Krylon UV archival MATTE spray. The matte is important as it won't reactivate the ink. Then after that I can spray with a gloss spray of my choosing. Always start with a light coat and build it up.
I have the polycrylic but it’s “Satin”, not Matte, does that make a difference? Thanks for your help!
Probably doesn't matter in this application. Thanks for watching.
@@ClaraLawrence thanks so much!

Where is the glitter from please?
