I love how it slowly becomes daylight in his room
Lol that's true, I didn't paying attention before
xQc when the boss attacks: SPAMMER!
xQc when he doesn't attack: HE'S STALLING!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
nah margit was horrendous sometimes not 1 boss i worse then him
Margit kept him up until the morning light
Magrit beat me like 20+ times before I got him, but I blamed myself each and every time. Which is why it never got annoying.
batchest
That’s the issue with some people playing this game. They don’t enjoy learning and practicing. It took me like 30+ tries and when I got to the point where I could kill him I jumped off the edge because of how much fun I was having.
I might say shit about the game design or the devs
End of the day, people with worse weapons, armour, and even lower levels than I manage to beat the bosses
It’s never the game’s fault, it’s mine
His fight was so fun I didn't even get mad when I died because I got to enjoy his cool voiceline again
That’s how I got through maliketh, he was difficult but not unfair I had fun fighting him
You know things are bad when you start blaming the programmers and design choices
It’s part of the rite of passage lol
tarnished behaviour
Sometimes it's true, though. Like the broken archers in anor londo from DS1.
DSP level of maidenless behavior
@@Slappaccino eh? You can see and hear those arrows coming from miles away
He actually did pretty good on his first try ngl
The more he became triggered by the boss the more he became impatient and panic rolled more lol
@@justmazen3168 plus he heals at the worst moments as well
Agreed. He had several missed opportunities to strike but instead hesitated, but besides that he was doing very well. Then, for some weird reason, when Margit's health was at 25%, he decided to switch to the bow. If he'd stuck with the katana, I feel like he would've beat him.
I love how you can visibly see his eyes go from panic mode then back to chill when he's at low health and using a flask
xqc:"what just happened?"
me: he put your foolish ambitions to rest
such a cool boss, the animations are so good with how he combos his attacks. was a bitch to fight tho.
His range is nutty. Imagine having a harder version of Gael as the first boss lmao I feel bad for ppl who’ve never played a Souls game before and this is their first boss.
@@dathunderman4 i never played Souls games before but i took enough of time fighting others bosses, looting, some side quests, a little bit of Rune farm, and honestly this boss took me from first attempt to the last like 20 minutes. It was a real pleasure to fight him lmao, i knew he was tough and etc but i enjoyed him so much
@@dathunderman4 margit is not nearly as hard as gael
@@dathunderman4 I mean it is technically the first boss but nothing stops people on buffing up prior to the fight
Is you get bloodhound step is east to dodge his attacks
First try was pretty good. If he didn't sit there and fumble with the bow while standing in the worst spot possible he probably would have won that attempt.
I did this boss with my dad watching and told him a simple thing
“These games are notorious for being unforgivingly difficult and this is the first boss”
This boss fight was just…holy fuck
The coolest thing is that he’s smart, he’ll hold off an attack until you try to heal and then he just dashes to you and messes you up, but you can spend a full minute waiting for his attacks and he just stares at you, he waits for you to make a move then responds accordingly
Smart bosses are scary and challenging bosses and I love it
He was a great and well designed boss I just wish he was more aggressive in his second phase
lol screaming im refunding the game then immediately bragging so hard when he gets the kill
XD
7:04 I like how in this fight Morgott is acting the same way as the player like "come on bro try something and i will end you."
"I will bring your sorry ass back to Dark Souls 3."
He was doing pretty good at the beginning
Put these foolish ambitions to rest.
Put these foolish ambitions to rest 4Head Put these foolish ambitions to rest 4Head Put these foolish ambitions to rest 4Head
Good one dud
this boss took me to long patience is key
No flask upgrades, 4 flasks total which means only picked up the one seed on the way to Margit, +0 weapon, no summons and didn't use the NPC summon made available. Elden Ring is hard but it's only "too hard" if you choose to make it that way.
He didn't learn this leason with the tree sentinel, Radahn, Gargoyles and so on.
He is basically attempting to speedrun the game but even speedrunners take their time to go and find weapons and upgrades before attempting the difficult parts, he is just skipping everything all over then complain everything hits like trucks.
Not only he didn't spend much time exploring the intended purpose of "open world game". He just thinks he's a God gamer and can't play more patiently as if he's doing speed run. And then blame the boss design. I really don't think margit is that hard. Took me 10 tries I think. Adhd guy simply couldn't spend some time to actually observe the boss movement and moveset to adjust the timing to weave in attack. And then do the classic, blaming the boss design
10 hours into the game and im still scared to fight this guy
edit: nvm beat this guy in 3 tries
Bro same
I mean ur 10 hours into the game. I beat him in half that but I took way longer
10h and not at margrit? No wonder you beat him on 3rd try lol
@@danieldev514 I found a portal and got transported to an area last Caelid with a giant dragon guarding a bridge before fighting Margit
Hell yeah King
Summon the wolves lord stop doing this to yourself
😂❤ thank you i needed this
first souls boss that ive faced and it was so good to beat him after 3 hours, look forward to the rest of the game
you'd think he would dodge forward instead of the usual roll back
The guy seems 10 years older on the final boss, this game hit hard
it took me a good amount of time to beat that boss, you just have to go for him when he leaps on you
fr, this boss is a good opponent to warm up
how long did it take xqc? do u know
@@rainxp1318 sorry for the late reply, xqc beat margit in around 45 minutes. But if i'm not mistaken he already did this boss in beta, so he's more ready this time.
nice I’m doing a dex arcane build it took me sub 15 tries. how many tries did it take you?
He has a few other openings too but they are small.
Margit had bro going till the sunrise
Dude has bleed and still struggles 🤣🤣🤣
I understand that Margit leaves himselg open when he Jump attacks but the fact that he doesn't do It all the time Is not a valuable point to use to complain, i mean he has other attacks that are suitable for openings
I know im like 2 years late but been watching ER content again while playing the DLC and it blows my mind that he had it on the first attempt and then for some reason tried to pull out bow?? no way he didnt throw for content LOL
Rookie mistake eveyone knows you switch to bow while you’re drinking the estus
Holy panic rolling.
This is just hilarious lol. Margit is a hard skill check but it only gets harder from there. I'd love to hear his complaints about Mohg or Malenia lol
mage vs this boss is such a cakewalk compared to your average dex or strength build enjoyer. Mage can just use summon wolves and spam rock sling or pebble while melee users have to specifically time and dodge every attack of margit to barely get one hit in lmao
Maidenless behaviour
@@bigmanbarry2299 that’s the point
You can actually attack him between his attacks
He staggs very often too
Ppl just aren't used to the game
But yeah, Mage it's oof again him
I mean that's mage vs everything. It's the autopilot of Soulsborne games.
Which is exactly why you don’t play as a mage ever
He never stops attacking but when he not he’s stalling 🤨
Bro was using bloody slash and he said it was draining my life and not bleeding, bro you have to let bleed build it lmao
Btw just now i saw your subscribe count have one from me friend always glad to support new content provider.
Thank you so much, I appreciate the support. This makes me so happy, thanks again 🙌
He's got a bow but never uses it.
Bro is mad that the enemy played defense sometimes 😂😂
Ngl he was doing great in the first run
Awwwwww yes, the many many thrashing i got by the first tree sentinal and this guy
That was his first try? Nice.
This was a hard boss as a wretch
He's saying that Margit is stalling while he's staying in the back waiting for Margit to do something... Ok
He was doing so good until he unequipped his sword...
Why do you do so little damage? Aren't there better weapons or something?
The worst thing thats happening during this boss fight is him sayin 2 put our foolish ambitions 2 rest. Made me drop a tear 4 real. Men may cry 2...
Margit is indeed a Fell Omen, an omen of failure or success, depending. He teaches you not to go in on your own ( i.e. no summons an no Rogier the Sorcerer) with a couple of basic HP flasks and not to faff about with a bow at the worse possible moment leaving you open for a one-shot death.
5:30 lmaooo
I love how xQc stands there and lets Margit recover his stance. He just assumes that Margit is randomly not attacking him and that he COULDN'T POSSIBLY BE CLOSE TO KNOCKING HIM DOWN...
I NEVER knocked margit down the first time I played
he was doing so well the first time, idk why he changed to bow
Hes to greedy, most important lessen.
first time player and im stuck on this one rn, I spent like an hour or two fighting him and got him down to like 30%. I feel Xs pain when he calls him a spammer lol
"You don't have the right, O you don't have the right" -- There's nothing better than watching bosses put over-hyped streamers in their place.
Put these foolish ambitions to rest! 😂
i beat margit after 4 hours lol. but made me more decent this way with other bosses
Margit definitely a good boss to get used to the mechanics
@@vwasta that's his point as being first legit boss. also the ulcerated tree spirit. also a good hard boss to defeat to get better
güzel oynuyorsun
Tbh, the average time to defeat Margit is 2-3 hours for someone who hasn't played DkS.
And i thought i was doing BAd 🤷♀️. I pokes him and it barely damaged him and he here is doing massive damage with unseath skill.
Don’t blame the game for dying to a boss
I could watch 5:29 all fucking day
Wtf is he even saying?
This guy doesnt learn. He is panicking alot. He needs more patience and precision. Took me around 30 tries before I beat him.
Your first attempt was the best looking one 😂 you just cant heal right in front of him bro lol n NEVER take out your bow in a close quarters battle unless you can get on your horse lol 😉 n spam light attacks thats how you stack the bleed nkt by hitting him w your ash of war every time he makes a mistake
7:34
Dude I didn't even do half X damage wtf
Because its the first boss
@@orangecobraEU I still killed him
@@williamzullo2937 yes, i killed him after 6 hours😂 i was lvl 16, and have really low health
FR my sword was hitting max 150dmg lol still beat him tho
@@fernandochapa1433 my sword does 250 damage per hits, im no even close to the end of the game😏
I've had a time in every souls game since PS3 Demon's Souls when I was "done with this piece of sh*t game".
Watching xqc get destroyed is satisfying
took me two tries to beat this guy and the only reason was cause i forgot to check my fp before i tried the first time
Two tries?....u must be pretty dogsht at the game ngl...Even a physically handicapped player wouldn't take 2 tries to beat this easy boss. Sry to say but this game is really not for u....U r just too trash at it. Try some casual games like Tetris may be
Former E-Sports gamer, gentlemen. Gross.
Waaah
Oh my fucking god lol 6:23. “What just happened?”
Like that wasn’t a clean hit.
Don’t get me wrong I get it. the frustration, coming up w thee most bind blowing reasons why he keeps send u back to the bon fire.
It’s not a bonfire it’s a site of grace this isn’t dark souls
@@Agent101g thanks nerd
This is exactly how I fought Margit. I was determined to use no summons, no shield, and only melee attacks. And this is exactly how it went lol.
I did end up beating him but it took probably about 70 tries.
I’m genuinely so confused. I absolutely clapped him on like my 3rd try with no upgrades and was still like level 18.. I thought he was actually a super easy boss and I’ve hardly played any FromSoft games. I found out after the fact that apparently people say he’s really hard..
lmao xqc is so bad
So hes angry becouse the boss is "camping" or "stalling"... 1.he literally said at one point that he didnt let him breath, 2. Stalling for what? Theres no time limit or events sooo... yeah, the boss is not bad, you're just not good enough, get better and try again later. (I think I just explained fromsoft's view on gameplay. XD)
I was so puzzled when he started crying about "stalling" lol. What a disgusting idiot.
Elden Ring is not hard. You made it hard. Go ahead, refund.
lol I killed him second try
It was harder before
Filthy casuals
i agree the boss was garbanzeeeno but it felt so good when I clapped him
Can’t stand this guy he’s so arrogant and annoying
This guy is always just blaming the game rather than realise his mistakes. Thing is he could play really well. Big ol' cringe.
I just recently finally beat the game and once you calm down and learn how to "DODGE" the game becomes way more enjoyable. Blaming the delay attacks and staggering while also taking greedy extra hits is all on him. Lmao refunding the game cu he sucks at it.
Lol I whoop him on one try with my 2 boys we all took no damage
Is it really whooping him if you had to summon 2 of your friends?
He so easy git gud. Should of stopped using 2 hand clown town
Good tip
I could do the same braindead hit and run strategy by baiting his jump , landing a heavy and running. If I did that strategy I probably could beat him like 2nd try. But instead I wanted to parry him. Took me a while to get used to the parry and it’s exceptionally annoying that you have to parry twice to get a critical.
It was a fun fight. I chose to git gud instead of some people spamming magic and running away or doing the classic hits and runs.
I could never get the parry down. I got my rolls on point though and even so this boss has combos that made me puzzled as to how to evade them
@@williamzullo2937 Parrying in this game is difficult and to be honest not rewarding at all.
Some bosses require multiple parries to break their posture. Unless there is a specific build , ability or talisman that makes your parry damage really strong I don’t see any point in it.
Now back to Margit. He has a charge attack that he does where he duel wields his staff and waits for like 3 seconds and then swings. In my opinion that’s the best move to parry. You gotta wait until the very end just when he’s about to swing. Unless you’re a parry god you can’t parry every single move that’s why you should bait some of the moves that are easy to parry. That’s basically for every boss.
Oh also, if you want to practice parrying go fight crucible knight , he’s very tough and not an easy boss but you can parry all his moves.
@@zaylaxsamin2074 Well put! Unfortunately I've already beaten the crucible knight and considering the parrying is very circumstantial it's not really worth it like you said. Bloodborne was the only parry system I got down. At this point I'm trying to figure out how to do more damage because I've met some spongey bosses that I dont even want to attempt because of their health.
Leave it to the dark souls community to claim they play the game more "right" than everyone else lol
@@unityfusion6674 oh come on lad. Am I being wrong though? Staying far away from the boss and spamming magic takes no skill at all. Especially in Elden Ring where all the sorcery/incantation are really strong.
Put these foolish ambitions to rest.
