- Hello, guys; welcome to the channel.
I hope you like my video. It has given you some ideas on how to defeat Consort Radahn. If you like it, don't forget to give me a "thumbs up!"
#gaming #eldenring #shadowoftheerdtree - Ігри
The Talismans I used:
ritual shield talisman, shard of Alexander, Spelldrake Talisman +2 and Lord of exaltation.
My poise = 67
Armor: Grave Bird Black Quill combined with Solitude.
Weapon: Reduvias 10+
I had 8 flask of hp, and 4 of FB but I only used 2 of FB
Had the erdtree heal on my left just in case.
No flask of Wondrous physick
2 iron jars aromatics
4 of Uplifting
I applied before fight and replaced the ones I used to have that amount in fight.
My endurance is at 80, my arcane at 60, and vigor at 80.
The trick to spamming the reduvia is to keep an eye on hp bar and heal. You have 40 seconds (iron phase)
For you to have that much endurance, arcane, vigor, AND have that completely massive FP bar wtf soul level are you lol? Like 300?
Why use spelldrake talisman?
@@CallieCore yes, and? I coop, invade, farm. 😎so?
I don't understand why you would use spelldrake when his attacks are holy and magical??
@@DiMECallofDuty lol 😂 that was a mistake 🥹😅 agree. But that’s what I had on
I heard them say they were trying to make the hardest boss they’ve ever made. I would have REALLY preferred if they had tried to make the BEST boss they’ve ever made.
He is a tough 😅lol i went there later on with my PS character and bro 😅didnt even let me pull my mimic out 😆
agreed, dude forces the player to spam dodge
he is not even closed, Lud and Zallen still are harder imo
True, it wasn't fun at all for me. I went through the game without sunmons and had no problem but I couldn't even scratch this guy with all these lights and AoEs covering half the screen all the time. Not a good boss in my opinion.
He’s really not that hard. He’s a joke if you parry him. I loved the fight!
this boss deserved to be cheesed
If this a cheese then the bosses are rats. They spam special skills all the time. This is a win. 🏆
I found him to be spammy 😅so we got even 😝
I have never seen Radahn spam that leg amash before, otherwise well done on your strat
Thank you 😅
thats god given RNG right there...
My initial thoughts exactly! RNG Gods!
Yeah he spammed so hard. harder than Dark sword r1 in ds3
Never in my 400+ attempts did i see that 😂
My radahn is 9000 times more aggressive than that…but this was fun to watch
@@ezdj that's because we fought him differently. His movesets changes. I did this method in my other countries nsole characters, same. But when i co-op nope. He is all over the place spamming attacks. When you fight him up close- that's when the does the foot stuff
@@alisonxra NG + 7 is brutal…at the moment I’m going invisible and he walks to back wall where I spam poison but then phase 2…I want to see if I can go invisible in phase 2…for fun…😎✌🏻
I went in with 2 others, and the MF'er would not get off me
Not sure if this is cheesing but it was a sight to behold, great use of parfums and that reduvia is a great weapon too. Wish we had the option to re-fight these bosses like in Sekiro so we can test and try new builds/strategies.
@@alexrc7333 i like to put my co-op sign to help others to re fight them instead of doing a 2nd playthrough
@@alisonxra That's a great idea, gonna do it myself, thanks!
Yeah I'd say this fight may have some cheese elements, but it's not a true cheese strat. Seems to require a decent amount of theorycrafting and understanding of Radahn. Unlike shield poke which is literally just holding block and spamming R1 with virtually no chance of death. That's cheese.
If you happen to be on PC, there are mods that allow you to resurrect bosses and fight them again and again.
@@royrogers495 Thanks for the insight pal!
it's pretty infuriating to know that after all the struggles we had on base game & whole dlc, and learning all the previous bosses hardest attack pattern, easiest way to beat hardest boss on the game is actually the lowest effort one, either poking behind greatshield or become an ironjar
@@HeyMaruniko sucks I know. I’m not a patient person 🥹💀🤷♀️so I went this route
and after giving you all these cool new ashes of wars, only for you to never use them in an actual boss fight because they're way too punishable.
Then don't use the easiest method and learn the bosses attack patterns like you did for the base game. Your statement is a non existent problem.
Damage resistance isn’t low effort, what?
@@gefehede7783 It actually is a problem when bosses have nothing but bs attacks. Not everyone has the time to be sitting there for hours analyzing every little thing
People forget the power of using items honestly
@@RayderRDRRS for real! This game has that aspect of adventure (crafting stuff) they go straight bosses and fight. They forget 😫😪
Especially iron jar. It’s been around forever, but now seems to be trending. I always thought it looked cool as hell 😂
@@alisonxra i have never used consumables in any souls game bc i don't wanna spend stuff lol
Nobody wants to farm arteria leaves
@@WeirdTroll666 I kinda get that compulsion too and I don’t know why, I just always save the materials. The only thing I’ve really crafted in elden ring with any regularity are arrows and bolts, and that’s only because I got the infinite small and large bones.
People forget how effective blood blade is (not only on Reduvia, but also on other blood weapons)
That little dagger is my n1 weapon against the fire giant.
Nice and insightful!
THANKS FOR THIS! Saved me after a week of fighting him!
@@ShaKing807 glad it helped 👊✌️☺️
That's one hell of a strategy lol
I used the Uplifting Aromatic, and that is what pushed me over the edge on phase 2 to finally beat Radahn! Thank you Thank you!
Goddamn that was just about sexy. Great run.
Makes me want to try a new game + to do that fight again.
lol 😂 let’s hope they don’t nerd the 40% damage negation of iron jar and defense of uplifting 😅aromatics
OMG THANKS I NEED TO DO THIS!!
I HATE LEARNING HIS MOVES MAN 😭😭😭
@@RH-cr9gg I feel yah lol 😂
If you did throw in the flask of wonderous physick, you could probably add the new crimson sapping cracked tear (So you can afford to take more hits uninterrupted) and opaline bubble tear to (replace one of the uplifting aromatics).
@@EldritchNamer mhm. Probably 🧐im just not good at switching/ multi tasking. I mean- at some point i drank 3 hp flask when i only needed 1 or 2
You can also use mist raven or whatever it’s called in this game to just negate the damage from light of Miquella and the divebomb attack. Additionally, when Radahn flies up to do his nuke just hop in place 4 times and he’ll just spawn next to you without doing anything.
Well it’s also a learning phase for From Software, the next dlc if it happens or new game from them, bosses will have the capability to cast or negate or even buff themselves further e.g their own iron jar. Can’t wait. Wonder what Miyazaki has planned for us next, 😅
lol 😂 that would be scary 🫣
no next DLC announced
@@shawnbrasuell8951yea no shit. So op is wondering what they WILL come out next. Keep up kid, stay in school. You’re the future
Probably not,I think. FromSoft tend to keep such workarounds in their games. They're honestly part of the appeal.
Thanks. I respecd and won
i really, really, REALLY want to like this boss fight, but the playerbase overall stigma against it, and my personal experience with 2 playthroughs fighting him, the insanely cheap phase 2, and AOE strobe lights, this is a certified fromsoftware miss
@@obviouslynotstaged I feel you 😭🥹I’ve seen in the coop I’ve helped- how he spams his attacks 🥹🙂↕️🙂↔️
And however it had some close calls. But good build!
@@zioneer6422 either way. Even if you died 5 times attempting this, you’re better off than dying 20-200times or quitting the game due to discouragement. I went this way cuz I don’t have the skill set to dodge him. So, I’m sure people like me-appreciate it either way. A win is a win! 🏆
i just learned to parry him, it's not that hard, the biggest problem with this boss is the light show in phase 2, it's not a problem to make a boss hard but it's a problem to not see what the boss is doing
i beat the dlc with darkmoon greatsword
Thank you i tried the same build but with higher stats and i obliterated radahn with a minute....
Great job!
I decided to just not having his sh*t, so shield poked him w/ Seppuku poison Antspur Rapier for 3 status effects as Str/Arc, good riddance.
Dude! Same! His spammy ash gotta go 🙄🫠✌️one way or the other
How high is your poise? The problem with this game is when you get hit one or two time it take you 5 seconds to get up or you just stand there waiting to be hit.
With with armor I think is like 76-81 I think cuz I was wearing bull goats talisman
What a stupid boss man. Why is bleed so godlike when everything else just does nothing.
@@robbyalp I agree. Same deal with Dragon Bayle. I read online he was weak to frosts and piercing-- nope! 🙂↔️ Bleed 🩸 did him. Little reduvias.
Sorry but you're just a shitbag if you're crying about his bleed move 💀
@@alisonxra Rivers of Blood and Blasphemous Blade carried me through the entire base game and this game
That was not the hardest boss! It was the worst boss because u can´t win on your own way! U have to use one of the ways that are possible.

Haven't used Ironjar yer but, can you not circumvent fatrolling with Quickstep?
@@Anamnesis010 it works with quickstep and bloodhound it's when you walk and roll that the iron jar is still on effect
I do like 10% of this damage with magic or frost...
This is not a cheese, it is simply a strategy with the means that the game provides.
I don't believe this is "cheesing" Radahn at all. I think this is just bloody brilliant genius strategy, ha ha.
"Cheesing" a boss is generally exploiting the game mechanics in a way, for example, luring a boss to move in a particular direction, so that if they lunge to attack you, they might fall off a cliff and die.
This is using the game's mechanics, which are available for players like you to discover, to go toe-to-toe with the Consort and absolutely nuke him, ha ha.
Well done! :D
@@Disc0spider I agree. I used the word cheese cuz I didn’t know the game definition of what it meant at that time 😭🫠🥹

Could you tell your whole build and physik

@@Lu4ronusGaming I didn’t know what cheese meant 😓😭but I do now. I used that word cuz in my first playthrough I used comet azur and everyone was like- oh she’s using the cheese method 😓🫨
should i summon bois?
Eh, I'll stick with rolling and melee. Too much of a hassle and sticking to the basics results in a cleaner fight.
@@sevryzen6180 if you have the skill set to dodge him and time- by all means buddy! I don't 👀🫠so.
The easiest way I have always described Elden Ring vs Dark Souls is that Elden Ring is more “skill” based while Dark Souls is timing and tempo based.
I forgot to make a new character for the DLC so played through on my NG+4 and had quite a few moments where I was pretty frustrated, and to me, even after memorizing as many attack patterns as you eventually will while playing through, felt that Elden Ring was “clunkier” then the Dark Souls series only because it seemed more RNG then pattern based.
While playing through DS3 I would feel as if I was “dancing” with the boss, and after fighting them a few times wouldn’t really need to think I would just follow along to the Tempo, in the meantime with Elden Ring, I felt like if I lost my focus for even a quarter of a second I would die, had to always be paying attention and would not be forgiven if I fucked up.
I will definitely agree that Elden Ring is harder, but other then a few bosses, I still think Dark Souls bosses were funner and more memorable.
DS3 boss design is just overall superior to elden ring’s
Why my reduvia does not make this much damage😢
My arcane is at 60 and I’m using the lord of exaltation talisman
Keep the consecutive attacks is what make that kind of damage. If you land 2-3 successful hit- you’ll see a big chuck of his hp go down.
@@alisonxra thanks I double reduviad him and done lol
Yeah but that was much too close for comfort. By the time you killed him you had a sliver of HP left in the bar and no Crimson Flasks left to regen health in case you got one more hit from him.
You were most likely more familiar with him from previous tries plus you are probably an experienced fighter. I'd hazard a guess most would die from the same build.
But this 2nd attempt- when i figure this out. And if you noticed i accidentally drank 3 flask instead of 2 at one time. And i still had 2 FP flask with ertree heal.
I mean 2-5 attempts of this- are better than 2 hours or days of trying to defeat boss. Not everyone is into that (want to figure things out) or have the skill set- but want to have a sense of accomplishment.
I've seen videos of his fight of course and that's why i went with this method cuz i don't have the skill sets to do otherwise.
I've attempted this method in my 3 characters after this one and succeeded everytime. I have a PC, Xbox and PS characters. I'm a streamer 😅and if you watch my streams - I'm no pro fighter 😅im a mimic user who loves to take shortcuts.

wait how does reduvia do that much damage to him?
wait i guess i'm not just used to seeing the build up go that fast. i use bleed weapons too but i can't proc it that fast on him
Dude, left with one healing potion with 1/3 HP bar is not considered a cheese 🤔. It is much easier if just equip a stone shield.
Took 1.50 minutes - including lil cutscene. Yeah with 2 FP flask to use Erdtree Heal. True, not perfect. 🤩 but it took me 1.50 minutes 😅to defeat him. A win is a win Buddy. How long it took you? 😅And this is 2nd try. If you noticed I accidentally drank 3 hp flask at once. In my other characters (I’m a streamer by the way) I still had more HP flasks, cuz I started to rely more on uplifting aromatics 🎉
@@alisonxra There are already many one shoot build in the Internet which took less 10 seconds to kill, not sure what is your purpose of posting this so call cheese build. Everybody complaint but I guarantee y’all ain’t fighting him on NG+7. Health pool is massive and damage output one/two shot

this is not cheese. This is just playing the game......... I found SCADUTREE AVATAR harder than the final boss
come on.. that sunflower was joke compared to radahn...
This is called counter building not cheesing . Cheesing is using some glitch or obstacle where Radahn would be stuck or unable to hit you while you are safe and able to attack him from safety. You really should learn difference between those 2.
@@djordjedangubic7270 it's ok bro. Anything that takes the least amount of effort/skill to defeat a very hard known boss - in my book is cheesing 😅💅🙃
