Nice review. Well done! Had both but found the 54 is more wearable for me and less loud.
Question: why do you keep yours wrapped in non-original wrap? 😂
    Keep it up.

Indeed! The 54 is less loud and more “daily”.
As for the wrapping, since the watches don’t belong to me, I try to be ultra careful when handling it 😅
      And thanks for the compliment!

Out of the two I'd get the monochrome BB41 master chronometer!
I do own the BB 54 as well as the BB 36mm Anthracite!
The reason I picked the 54 over the 58 cause of the tfit class and suits my 6.4 inch wrist!
My next final BB is gonna be either burgundy/monochrome 41mm, that watch is fantastic.

I agree! T-Fit Clasps are must-haves especially on hot days 😄 And good luck acquiring your next watch man!

Initially I wanted that too! Especially the red triangle. But after seeing and handling the 54 in person, I think the silver markings and the lack of red triangle give the watch it’s own characters and I’m all for it 😊

I tried the 54 and it’s definitely not too small on my 6.5 wrist. I think as a 1 watch collection the 54 is perfect. However, if you have a multiple watch collection, you may want something with a little more spice because for all its goodness, the 54 is a bit bland when compared to the 58. Unlike the 54, the 58 is not an exact replica of back catalog Tudor, it is its own thing. The gilted bezel adds a nice warmth and harmony with the gold on the dial, the red triangle harkens back to the Rolex/Tudor Big Crown and serves to break up the monotony of the watch. I also find the more refined coin edge bezel and matching crown very elegant. It is a very special watch that isn’t an exact replica. Also, 39 mm is on the smaller side for a modern sized sports watch. I think anything smaller is playing vintage territory.

Thank you for sharing your thooughts! I agree, the 54 can be a bit bland and feels a bit "monotone". However, depending on the collection you have, for example if you have a watch collections with colourful options, a bland watch can be a "cleanser" every once in a while when you feel like going more stealthy for the day. Also, we could always play around with the look and feel of the watch by swapping bracelets to a strap. And maybe it's just me but I find the more rugged coin bezel on the 54 a bit easier to operate although the ones on the 58 feels more elegant as you mentioned.

54 but 58 blue is a modern classic

Agreed! If you were to choose between 54 and 58 blue, which one you will pick?
