I was lucky enough to have their father as my Jr. high social studies teacher when Dreamboat Annie was released. He adored them, of course, and would end the teachings early and play the album on the school record player. Then he arranged to have the band play for an acoustic set (first unplugged?) in our band room as we all sat legs crossed on the floor with our mouths collectively agape. One of my best childhood memories.

That Stairway performance is one of the most emotional things I've ever watched. Absolutely superb from everyone involved. I tear up every time I watch it. I think Robert was very tearful during it as well.

Personally, I think it could use a 12-string guitar but just Ann and Nancy not only do it very well own their own but the intimacy of just the two of them on stage is quite symbolic
I've always said that if you can't play a song at least as well as the original band, then don't go perform it. Heart does perform Led Zeppelin songs so well that... I don't know what to say... unbelievably good. 👍😊

I totally agree one of the best songs of The twentieth century ( definitely my all time favorite song & Group! I wish Jason & LZ would go out & tour & create new stuff too. Definitely a huge missed opportunity (IMO)
When Page turned 80 that's when I realized that it was never going to happen. In retrospect, the fact that they didn't do a world tour following the 02 Arena gig in 2007 was a pretty good indicator that it was never going to happen.
In my teens during the seventies, after Led Zeppelin themselves, my first bootlegs were concert recordings of Heart. These are incredible performances that have even more energy than those 1970s shows. Just phenomenal. Bravo, Nancy and Ann!!!

Hello I first saw Heart they were a club band in the zodiac room in the Royal Towers in new Westminster BC. Nancy Wilson wasn’t in the band yet. Anne Wilson’s voice was just incredible and that’s what they were a Led Zeppelin cover band. Thank you very much for bringing back the memories…peace

I say them play at the Yale Bowl in 1980 with The Eagles and the Little River Band. Their were 67,000 people at that concert. Heart were great.
