Back in the early 70's I saw Heart many times in the local clubs of Vancouver. I also saw Zeppelin several times during that same period and I say without exaggeration, Heart played those Zeppelin songs as well as Zeppelin did. They were a killer cover band.
They seem so calm and soft spoken, cool and nice. Can you imagine all of their experiences? This Stern episode is the first I’ve heard them talk. I look forward to finding more v🫶🏻
I have no words to say how much they have meant to my life. They are still as good as the first time I heard their first song on the radio. I remember cutting school early to run down to A&A records in Montreal to make sure I got Dreamboat Annie before any of my friends, and that night I listened to it together with my friends and we knew we were hearing something special.
They are PHENOMENAL. So great that Howard showed them the respect they deserve by flying up from his Palm Beach mansion in Florida to be there with them in person.
I'm 55, and zeppelin was the music of my youth, heart was also there, her range is phenomenal, please cover the entire first album, zep, dazed +confused, you shook me, how many more times,,,,,,,, fn awesome!
I've always felt that no one can cover Zeppelin as well as Ann Wilson. She's done a lot of Zeppelin covers over the years so obviously have a passion for the music as well as being a great singer and that really comes through.

Ann's voice has actually improved with age. As it develops that slight edge or roughness it didn't have in earlier years. These are truly R&R HoF legends.
