Life of a Woodsman - Tour of the Tent

- In this final episode of the 'Life of a Woodsman' series I give you a tour of the camp and touch on a few different pieces of gear I've brought with me. I had originally intended for this series to go on longer and to share quite a few more videos from this camp. Unfortunately after filming for a few weeks I ran out of battery life for my camera and the series had to conclude here. This trip was a lot of fun for me to film and I now have a better idea of how to prepare for the next wilderness living trip. I'm hoping to make the 'Life of a Woodsman' series an annual occurrence and I'll make sure to be better equipped to film the entirety of the next installment. I want to give a huge thank you to everyone who has stuck with me throughout this series. Spending so much time in the wilderness was a dream come true and being able to share it with all of my amazing viewers is the cherry on top. Once again, thank you. God bless and happy trails!

In my opinion this is the best and genuine bushcraft channel on UA-cam. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from italian alps

I loved the fact you had shared that you bought things with your own money. ❤

Been a pleasure watching, excited to see what the next adventure will be!
It’s been a great series. Thanks for creating it.
I have enjoyed watching and learning as much as it sounds like you have enjoyed creating. Thank you and looking forward to future videos.
Thank you for sharing lots of knowledge shared on this series for sure. Keep it up young man.
Great videos bro. Thank you so much. No snow yet 😮. Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 😊
Great stuff - your series was really informative, and enjoyable. Looking forward to the next one!
The series has been enjoyable. It has taken me back to my extended deer camp days where I'd stay for a month or two at a time. I'm sure you know let the flap on the outside of your tent where the stakes are is designed to have dirt put on them to keep the cold air from blowing in. What I've done in the past with the square Shepherds type tent is cut and skin polls too lay behind my steaks on to the sod cloth to keep the flap down and not dirty up the tent. Looking forward to your next series.
Absolutely terrific series - thank you. Really looking forward to your new winter videos , also looking forward to see what happens with the beaver pelts....keep up the great work.I appreciate the wilderness envirnonment even more now.
I really enjoyed watching this series- credit to you for sharing your adventures. There’s a big difference between a few days in the woods and a few weeks… entirely different experience!
this has been an amazing series…❤❤❤
This was a relaxing series! Can’t wait for the next upload
The best part of your videos is that you end with saying "God Bless"
You are doing a great job with your videos and I appreciate you taking the time to show myself and others some very useful and interesting survival techniques.
Thank-you and keep up the great work. God bless you!
Really enjoyed this series. Thanks for making it!
I’ve enjoyed the series. Thank you.
Thanks, this series has been a great amount of fun.
Fantastic series!!! You really are an amazing teacher, with incredible videography. Thank you for taking us along on your trip!!! Looking forward to your next expedition.
Great video! I just found your channel and I'm really enjoying it. I like that you talk alot. I also like that you are very thrifty and don't have a lot of expensive gear and still enjoy the outdoors. Your bushcraft spills are amazing. I too love the outdoors, hiking, bushcraft, camping, and enjoying God's creation. I too am really thrifty and really like military surplus gear and DIY projects. I also am a truck driver and I try to get short hikes in all iverthe country when I have time. I really enjoyed this video series and will be watching more. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed day! Marty from Minnesota🙂
Greetings from Cornwall England. I've really enjoyed watching this series, so full of tips and tricks. Your palace looks fine. Can't wait till you're next series. Have a great Christmas, thank you for all your videos
This series was awesome. Hope you have a Merry Christmas. Cheers, and God Bless! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️🇨🇦
Loved this series! I hope that you do something like this again next year.
Nice tent camp... it's a lot like my tipi camp. I even use a wood stove in it most of the time, as well as a raised bed in winter. Nicely done, thanks for taking us along.
Great series mate! Can’t wait for the next one… 👌🏽
Awesome series!! Thanks for bringing us along and sharing the process and thoughts behind the camp and daily chores!
This was a wonderful camping series. I enjoyed each segment. And do remember to do a video on skinning and tanning the beaver pelts. I would love to see your technique and style.
Hope to see you back soon, whether it's in a tent or just in the outdoors, like all of your videos, thank you!
This has been my favourite of all series. Thanks for bringing this to us all and can’t wait for what you upload next
Thank you for the great series. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Brilliant series, entertaining and educational, thanks a lot and happy holidays.
Very nice sending good vibes from New Zealand 🇳🇿
Thank you Kirk enjoyed the entire series
Thank you for the vids! I'm a 56 year old gal in Nova Scotia and you've given me inspiration to get back out in the "wild" and enjoy what nature has to offer. Merry Christmas to you and I look forward to your future vids!
What a great series! Do you ever so group camping like you did way back in the beginning of the channel?
My toddler and I binge watched the playlist this AM. There is a bushcraft event coming up that will be the first for my husband and I'm hoping little dude will be more interested the more we expose him to this.
You channel is perfect for that purpose as well as the calming, relaxed, and scenic travels we get to live vicariously through you. Many times when I need to relax, your videos fit the bill and keep me interested until I can no longer keep my eyes open.
Cheers!
Excellent series. Thank you.
Nice series! Good job!
Wow man, caught this video first, heading back to the start of this series. Right on!
Wonderful as always. Thank you and Merry Christmas
Canadian prepper was mentioning the other day that there hasn't really been any snow in Canada where he lives and it's been dry.
Actually, dry is good for this series, i mean it could have rained every day but you had great weather!
Thanks for sharing 👍
"Love the 'Hudsons Hotel' in the woods! I've got a UA-cam gig doing the woodsman life too - swapping tent tales and lumberjack jokes! Let's share the wilderness spotlight! 🌲🏕️"
Great series!! Thanks for taking us along in bite sized chunks to the various aspects of a trip like this. I'm sure there's lots more knowledge you have that you didn't share so a season 2 one day would be well enjoyed by all I'm sure. Merry Christmas!
It was a great series can't wait for the next videos

This has been an incredible series. Thanks for sharing, very therapeutic.
Certainly a proper tent camp. Great series. I've enjoyed every segment, and looking forward to some winter episodes in the future! God bless you!
Absolutely loved the series and already can’t wait for the next one.
Great Series!! I truly respect your humble approach to bushcraft and your skill level...
Great video. God bless you.
Great series, I really enjoyed it. Educational and good to watch. I like the shorter time frames used to get your message across, not the usual waffle from most youtubers. Great job and look forward to your next lot of experience. Mayber a little more rifle hunting and pipe smoking. Cheers
I thoroughly enjoyed this series! I hope you’re able to invest in some more batteries for your cameras. Looking forward to what do you next!
you should take a trip up the muhani valley. all the way up it . that'd be an epic trip of a lifetime!
Many thanks Brother, it has been so enjoyable. Good luck with your future adventures, we will be here with you 🙏
It has been a great series, really wish you had brought a few extra battery packs, or even better a solar charger. I imagine food was an issue as well, nice you got the quail and beavers but pretty sure the food bag was getting a little low as well at the batteries. Seeing the camp site in winter and how you adjust or handle it would have been interesting. Hope you will do something like this again!
Great series! Really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing!
very good series! enjoyed every episode! that last shot of you sitting infront of your tent looks like the best get-away i could imagine. looing forward to the vinter series!
Thank you. That was awesome!
Thank you Riley, your videos give me hope on very bad times..
And your tent, it's so nice, would love to have one like this, it's big but cosy at the same time, right?
Hoping to see much more videos of yours, thanx again, Martijn
Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge with us! I’ve enjoyed watching this trip and it inspires me for next year. Looking forward to seeing what’s next for you. God bless!
Awesome video Kusk! More more
Great series!!!
Great series
Damn good series! It can be hard patiently waiting for videos but I’m aware it’s a lot that goes into it, so thanks for your hard work and dedication to it!
Brother I so enjoyed this series! What an awesome adventure. Thank you for sharing it with us. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Merry Christmas Family 🎅 🥂🥂!!!🔥
Love your videos 🙌
So good .🏕️
That's an awesome looking tent! ⛺
Great setup you have inside of it too.
I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas 🎄🎁🎅
Well done, very cool...
end your series as much as you want but do not end your channel, your scared me for a minute lol.
Merry Christmas Ryley!
It was a great series for sure and much appreciated. Would liked to have seen more video content but technology once again limited the outcome. It's a good thing one doesn't have to rely on tech to live out in the wild, yeah it's nice but not needed. Thanks for the well done content and filming, will be looking forward to your next adventure. Merry Christmas!
Thank you for sharing! It's been very interesting.
Just out of curiosity.
Which "technique" do you use when you have to do number two out in the woods? 😬 Digging a pit and holding a tree maybe?
A great series. Very enjoyable. Time to add a solar-powered battery charger to your kit??? 😋
Great video. I guess solar will be coming your way when you have the money or just have one big Li-Ion storage battery which could last a month or longer. Keep up the good work.
