that looks like a brilliant alternative or supplement to the crowded TMB trail. About the same length, really nice size hike. Wish I was out there on the trail!
Merci, David.
Very good shots and combined with music that gives calm and peace, makes this video very beautiful and enjoyable to watch and makes us really enjoy your trip. You did so well, buddy👍🏻👍🏻
So gorgeous! Thank you for making this and sharing. I did the first few stages of the GR-54 in 2019 and this is inspiring me to finish it. I'm sorry you got food poisoning along the way....I also got very ill while hiking there.😅
Thanks Jenna! I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment. I hope you get back there one day to finish what you started. Yeah, it was a really rough night being sick and the next few days I felt so weak. Sorry to hear you also had a similar experience.
Loved your selection and frame of shots very much! Great love and respect from a solo mountain hiker friend from the Hindu Kush Mountains Lower Chitral District Pakistan!
Your video is convincing me about where I would like to hike next Summer! The landscape is stunning, and it provides such a huge contrast compared to the TMB and WHR! Thanks!.
Bravo! I adore this genre of film. Your channel popped up first for me through your trek in the Accursed Mountains of Albania. It's hard to escape that name, which takes an imaginative hold. This film had (I thought) more joie de vivre in it: armchair hikers like me want to see our hero having a quiet beer, share you seeing a butterfly or a marmot, as here. That said. there is quite a long sequence of hiker approaching / hiker receding shots from 10.45 onwards, and I thought this was probably deliberate on your part (for this IS a long trek, and the sequence expresses that duration). But the mountains of late summer France - such perfect viewing for November.
Hi! Thank you for watching and leaving such a thoughtful comment. I had bad food poisoning around the mid way point of the hike, so the last few days I was very weak and recovering, so I didn't end up filming as much as I normally would have.
I'm a bit surprised at myself, but I must have picked up on some kind of problem in the last sequence. Just been watching you on Hornstrandir, and that's sublime, with you setting up a great variety of shots. Stay well in these solitary places.@@CaryMercer
Thanks for the video. I’ll do the GR54 this September. Planning for 10 days on trail, aiming for 9. Did you find it hard to find tent spots? I’m not planning to make any reservations.
What a beautiful atmosphere, this was edited simply brilliantly my friend! Amazing work 🔥🔥🔥

Amazing film! Inspires me so much to go out hiking myself. Keep up the great work!
So beautiful! Great cuts and incredible shots as always. Love the composition as much as the trail itself.
Thanks Mario! Glad to hear you liked it.
Encore une superbe vidéo, c'est magique ! On aurait dit le plateau d'Emparis et la Meije (1:00) ? Loved your films 🤩
Beatrice is asking me what kind of tent do you use ? Thanks.

Hey Dan! I think you will like the GR54, especially with your french speaking. Lots of French hikers to converse with.

Hi, thanks for watching! I did not find it hard to find tent spots.
If this video doesn't blow up in views than the alg needs some work. Phenomenal shots
Hi Chris. Thanks for watching and leaving your comment. :-) may help the alg haha
