Kraig Adams used to be among my three favorite but over time I realized he is arrogant and unless you can trek 20 plus miles a day, he talks down to you. Clearly, he doesn't realize many of us watch these presentations because they are an escape for us and something we couldn't do for any number of reasons. I still watch him on occasion but mostly to view the country, not to listen to his remarks at the end, which I don't. I discovered Yens recently and love his work. I especially like when he hikes with his dog. I am sappy about dogs and I tear up a little when he shows his companion love. Yes, I have a dog and love him much. We do hikes but more like five or six miles. I am 81 and don't get along as well as I used to. You have a new follower, Yens.
Kraig Adams was a wonderful breath of fresh air from the usual “talking face in the camera” jerky backpacking videos. I have followed Kraig Adams since his Iceland video catapulted him to popularity. And Harmen Hoek, who also uploads amazing backpacking videos, acknowledged his debt to Kraig Adams. I now I have added you to the You Tube chanels I follow. Nice video. Thank you for sharing.

Dogs are not allowed in national parks to preserve the tranquility of wild animals.
Jack was definitely fine back then, but national parks in France don't allow dogs

Uhm my memory is kind of vague, but as far as I remember u are allowed to set up camp near the refuges and at lac Noir like I did.
