Why is Jeep so incompetent? I am so confused as to why it is widely accepted to hear, "Well, it's a Jeep-they leak." How is this inferior product considered "good practice" that is simply widely accepted? It's like saying it's a boat... They sink. WHAAAAAT!?!? WHY DOES NO ONE HOLD CHRYSLER RESPONSIBLE? ARE WE JUST STUPID AS CONSUMERS?

Ok so I opened the top of the Jeep wrong today- this is the FIRST time I’ve ever done it. Should I be worried or as long as I don’t repeat the mistake I’m ok

Aaron Steed let me tell you they could if they really wanted to but then again the underchassis is definitely easier

I have a 2016 JK and found a leak getting my seatbelt and floor wet. Wish I would have seen this before I took it to the dealership. They charged me $336 for a new door seal and to reattach the rear defroster tab. Then they tell me they found another leak which is probably the original problem. The front rubber seal of the hard top. I really believe they cut the door seal cause I never noticed a cut before. They want to charge me another $200 for the front seal. I said no, will take it somewhere else. The small dab of glue to reattach the rear defroster tab was $20 with $50 in labor. What a joke

Just purchased a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. My question is why the hell should I have to deal with a problem like this when it has only 17,000 kms and it is still under warranty? I just put out $44,000. Dollars for it!! Do you really think I should have to stuff paper towels in area where it’s leaking? How pathetic is that!!!!!

Jeeps are crap nowadays. Mine also leaks, the rear differential "clunks" when I start from a dead stop, the front doors have an annoying rattle when I hit a bumpy road, and the transmission failed on me in the middle of nowhere, but the real issue here is... what in the hell were you thinking shelling out 44k for a fucking Jeep?!!! That Jeep salesman definitely got employee of the year off of your purchase! Well, at least you got a free lesson on financial sodomy thrown in.

Janie Tyerman sounds crazy right but it's a manufacturing wide issue the next choice would also just not getting that top 👍

A loose door unlatches easier and leaks easier. It is an unrealistic expectation to have a tightly sealed door that opens easily; there needs to be a snug fit. for this reason this video is setting people up for dissatisfaction. I am a service tech but not for Jeep. I actually do not like Jeeps. I am just telling it how it is.
