I installed on Sunday in two hours and left outside in rain for two days and bone dry. Before I had water under the carpet on both front sides and in the back. So happy! Highly recommend.
First off, you guys did an amazing job with the product overall and the video’s explaining each step by step of the process. I even called and got an answer and full helpful explanation. I did the freedom panels along with the doors and it fixed my leak on my front floor board! So happy with this product and experience of doing it myself and seeing why its leaking. Thank you guys! Keep up the awesome work! Will keep recommending this to fellow Jeepers!
I just bought a 2014 Wrangler and was very disappointed to find the carpet completely soaked, after the first rain. I had only owned the vehicle two months, and boy was I disappointed. The leak had never been disclosed and I started researching the issue, which appears to be quite common. Since then I have read numerous articles and watched numerous videos. Jeep Leak Fix is by far the best video I have come across. They explain why Jeeps leak and have a complete installation video I called and spent a good thirty minutes on the phone with Anthony who removed any and all reservations I had. The kit is on back order but I just placed my order. I am a little intimated by the freedom panels, but this is definitely worth my time and effort. I hope to be another satisfied customer and will give an update once I finish the install.
Installed this kit and followed the instructions. Absolutley perfect 😀. No more leaks! Take your time, make sure everything is nice and clean for good adhesion. Guys were super helpful when I contacted for a wee bit of advice, on the tailgate. Just as there has been a couple of questions on which way the flap goes on the tailgate, I followed the video and it works perfectly. Just to note the flap on the tailgate can point either way but it works better as per the video instruction. Could not reccomend more. If you have leaks this is the answer. Many thanks for the kit and the advice.
Hi guys, I ordered the set after searching a lot and finally finding this video. Ordering to Germany was no problem and the delivery time was ok. German customs were added to the purchase price and shipping costs. Installing the seals was very easy with the help of this video. I can recommend the set and this video instruction for every JKU driver. Happy Jeeping from Germany!
Ok i took my time and followed all the directions exactly. It stopped the leak on the driver side(so far) but the passenger side is still full of water. I thought it was working great but now after 3 months its back to leaking.
I have just installed the foam pieces "seal kit" to my Freedom panels... and it did nothing. Was about to purchase the header opening seal (the one on top of the windshield) and the front hardtop seal as my "last" option. Been struggling with the leaks for a while now but they've become a nightmare. Will be watching this video closely and hopefully ordering the kit. Cheers.
Did you ever install the kit? Have you fixed the leak? I'm having the same problem and just ordered the kit. I am a little intimidated by the freedom panels but the rest seems easy enough. I hope to hear back from you.
Oh dammit I was looking for instructions on how to installe the OEM seal kit, but looks like I bought it for nothing since your solution seems way better 😁
I am so glad I found y'all and this product. Thank you soooooo much your kit fixed my leak. I tried everything from the Home depot stuff to taking it to the dealer. Honestly, I was a little skeptical about there actually being a fix especially after taking it to my local Jeep dealer twice and still it leaked. They even had a "water specialist" working on the Jeep and I got it back leaking even more. I was about ready to trade the sucker in but I really love my Jeep. I now tell everyone I know about the website. Jeep needs to get y'all on their payroll and take care of this problem the right way.
What about the black seals at the top corners? Mine is leaking at the front door top corner of the second pillar between the front and back door. Some piece of foam sucks water in and drips down the pillar and drips on the seat during turns.
Awesome Job guys. Definitely a Product I need for my leaky Jeep. Since the dealership can’t fix it. And put some black sticky putty on the Conners of the freedom panels. When I seen what they did to fix it like that I told them “well that’s half Ass”. And it still leaked. And figured if I want something done right I better fix it my self. Definitely looking forward to use your Jeep leak fix kit. Keep up the good work. I’ll pass on your product. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
hi there. just about it. i'm a bit confused about the freedom panel passenger-side: on 46:15 there is still some sealing rubber from the original sealing on the left edge. on the next scene 46:25 this part is suddenly gone. do we really need to cut off parts from the original sealing rubber???
DO NOT install this seal on the freedom panels. My brother took”Tony” included this in the video on his own which I “Panoramic Jeep” told him not to do.
I have soft top JKU, my rear storage leaks. Any suggestions of why it might be leaking and what recommendations I can do to fix the problem? I just replace my top b-pillar gaskets
Well, we had rain last night as part of the rainstorm that came through. Right now I am in my Jeep and water is on passenger and driver side floor. I will sort it out when it gets warmer out.
Unfortunately the leaks you are experiencing can be found in nearly all Wranglers. Give us a call so we can talk about your specific situation and help you find a way to fix it. Our contact info can be found at www.jeepleakfix.com
When you tried to show the phone number it only displayed the name Jeep leak fix not the actual number. I just ordered the kit and can’t wait to install it!
Been fighting my 14 jk since day 1 it leaks all corners front and back doors the stealer ships never want to deal with it I'd really like to buy this new gasket where can it be bought please
Watched your video very interesting.I’ve been so frustrated with my leak and it only continues to get worst.Iam in London Ontario Canada do you know of someone besides a dealership that could help me out with this. And iam thinking you have to order this seal from a dealership is that correct. Thanks Greg
Hi guys, today i did the complete install on my jeep. Only the rear window won´t hold the gasket in place. It falls of every few inches. I cleaned it with break cleaner before installing the gasket. Any ideas or tips for this problem? Great product by the way. I love it!
Phantom fixer: I fought the door leak problem for 3 years. Found a water diverter that mounts to the front end of the rain gutter. Water is diverted to the windscreen rather than down the door and poor seal.
Love the product idea! At 10:50, those 'freedom panel screw/bolts" are to be used when running without the back of the hardtop. There is a little black block on the freedom panels that fold down to contact the body of the Jeep. Those bolts then keep the Freedom Panels from flapping around.
I have posted couple of comments to the effect, this didn’t work for me. Since there are a lots of gasket, I tried different application options. I believe I may have solved the problem I was having. I took off the gasket I first applied following the instructions from the edited version of this video. Then I reapplied like this guy is showing. When you get to the bottom foot pillar, don’t divert down, stay on top straight back. One problem with that is, when you close the door, the gasket gets bent up and water leaks in at that spot. So, I just glued it down so the whole rubber gasket hugs the bottom part. I just had a big rain fall this morning and I found zero water inside. Hope it will last.
We're glad our kits are helping so many people! Feel free to contact us directly if you want to talk about your specific situation. Our number is on our website. www.jeepleakfix.com
Hello Sonny.. email me some pictures of your install on the driver's side so I can see what's going on and how you can make adjustments to get the same results as your passenger side. jeepleakfix@gmail.com
Folks, today a huge rain storm came through. I just checked 5 minutes ago, and there was not a drop of water on either side of my wife’s Jeep. I have confirmed that the correct way to apply this product is to apply it the way the first portion of this video shows. Then, when you get below the black door strap, follow the inner edge down, and as you make that curve down to the horizontal foot path, stick it on the top, maybe leaving 8th. of an inch exposed on the inner part of the bottom panel. Do not, I repeat, do not route it low at that part, like the video shows. The water travels down and gets in by the bottom of the door, about 8 to 10 inches from where the curve straightens out below the door strap. I wish I could upload a couple of pictures here to show, but just follow what the video shows down to the middle of the curve and do what I said from the mid-curve forward above the foot board part. I think the first guy does it the correct way, then he says to move it down because the feet would hit it. I glued a little bit, about 6 inches, right after the curve of the door panel. I hope I didn’t confuse anyone.
Love when I go to the dealer and they say these never leak but they hand me a card for a jeep leak detection specialist. Corporate should have to drive these pos for the rest of there lifes
I guess I have to believe you, when you say, you never heard it before, because I can not hear it for you. The dealer has a guy who comes around once a week or twice a month fixing jeep leaks when it’s under warranty. It’s not the top that is leaking. The leaks are happening from the door crack.
Yes, you are correct. Lots of Wranglers leak at the doors.. but a lot leak at the panels too. This is the reason our Jeep leak fix kit includes material to seal 2 freedom panels, all 4 doors, and even the rear hatch. All cracks and gaps sealed.. Problem solved.
We Live in Newfoundland- East coast of Canada- Rains sideways almost every day of the year! 2015 Jeep Sahara just started leaking. Bought silicone stuff from Home Depot and Still leaking. I’ll be buying some of this stuff. Poor design - Jeep needs to do better!
Why is it that Jeep is making customers fix this problem on their own after purchasing the vehicle? Some just live with it as a fact of life! Jeep should have taken care of this ridiculous and brain deficient issue before their vehicles ever left their factories and headed towards the dealers.
@@bennybumb8126 That's a horse s%%^ answer. I never heard of a Targa top leaking. or a regular sunroof leak. Just poor careless design whether its made in Japan, Mexico, or the US.
To be honest, when I first installed this proprietary rubber seal, I also replaced the rubber gasket around the doors too. I found more water on driver and passenger side than before replacing the gaskets and adding this insulation. However, it seems as the leak is no longer happening. It’s been raining all day and I just went outside and checked it. No water inside. I think it took a few months of opening, closing and heat to both the gaskets and this sealer to become supple enough to merge with each other to create a tight enough fit to stop the leak.
Thank you for your outstanding explanation of the endless water 💦 leak issues with Wranglers!
You guys are a Jeep life saver. I HATE LEAKS that ruin a perfectly nice and good vehicle. Thanks for your research that gave us Jeep Lovers a fix!
I installed on Sunday in two hours and left outside in rain for two days and bone dry. Before I had water under the carpet on both front sides and in the back. So happy! Highly recommend.

Why does the rear glass have the tape side to the outside and flap side inside when everywhere has been the opposite

Yes.. you can mix vinegar and alcohol and clean the surface. That will take off any residue that is keeping the seal from sticking
How much is this and how can I order it?
my jeep makes a lot of interior sounds, do you think that could help?
Yes. Adding the kit dramatically decreases road noise entering the cabin.

Can you advise on the overall size needed for the flap?
the gasket has a way of fitting in the door channel just perfect. follow the door channel and what’s left over is the overall size of the flap.
It actually pisses me off pretty bad because the wranglers been around for a long ass time and they haven’t improved upon this. It’s pretty pathetic.
