NOTE: This video is a higher quality version of the campaign I uploaded last year.
Note 2: This is the third single player campaign from "Reign of Chaos". You play as the undead race, the heroes you can control being Arthas Menethil (Death Knight) and Kel'Thuzad (Lich). There are no playable Dreadlord heroes.

Chen is an optional hero. He doesn't have any speech after joining your party, so it's hard to evaluate his role in the lore, and his presence does not affect the story in any way.
But make no mistake - he is a cool character. And very useful too, especially in fights with many enemies at once :)

Arthas is the first of the *Lich King’s* death knights. The previous death knights served the Horde.

Tbh that's the main reason that I've added those secrets for - people keep claiming that the pandaren's story was present in War3, but it wasn't really, they were just... there, unrelated to the main story. You can take out all references towards them (special heroes, units, secrets) and the campaign will remain unchanged in any way. WoW pre-MoP had even less pandas, only like 1-2 quests.
I for one have a hard time imagining them as part of the same universe as the one presented in War2.

Ironically, even the Space Orcs with the flamethrowers from the endgame sequence get more screen time than the Pandaren egg :P

It's funny how many similarities there are between WarCraft III and StarCraft. The biggest of them is the "fallen hero" motif - both Arthas and Kerrigan join the enemy they hate the most...
I want to learn Fel magic. With it I could make sandcastles of structures and destroy them. Like my high school for example.

Someone suggested that I am a "new lore hater", but this is wrong. There are many things about the new Warcraft lore that I like and enjoy... but Pandas aren't one. They just don't fit into my idea of Warcraft (considering that I have played the series since the original Orcs & Humans).
The old War1 and War2 have a very different feel from War3 and WoW... and still, I enjoyed War3 very much :)
I dont know why people hate about the pandarens. There are lot of humanoid beasts in warcraft such as furbolgs, murlocs, gnolls, kobolds, tortolans, owlkins and most of them appeared during wc 3 yet every one see the pandas as not fitting in wc lore. Or that would have problem with and expansion with these race too?
Pandas aren't that bad. They have existed since WC3 anyway. It's the lore inconsistency and comical villains in WoW lore that are the problems.
