- This video contains the cinematics and story relevant sequences from the Alliance campaign, "Curse of the Blood Elves", of the game "Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne" (2003), developed by Blizzard Entertainement.

Note: This is the second single player campaign from "The Frozen Throne". The races you can play as are human (partially modified) and naga (in some levels), the heroes you can control being Kael'thas Sunstrider (Blood Mage), as main hero, along with Lady Vashj (Sea Witch), Illidan Stormrage (Demon Hunter) and Akama (Elder Sage) in certain levels.
Note2: If you unlock and complete the secret TD level (unlockable in chapter III) you will be able to play the Pandaren Brewmaster hero in the following level. He is not story relevant, just a joke from Blizzard. The last wave in the TD consists of pandaren carrying explosives. :))

I thought Illidan was blind
Naga, Blood Elves, Draenei(the broken), and Satyrs. If you include Burning Crusade, orcs, and demons. Illidan has a unique talent for gathering different races to his cause. Just one of the many reasons why he is awesome.
Kael and his Blood Elves are leaving Alliance because Garithos betrayed him. So they went to the portal world the Outland.

I remember seeing Garithos for the first time and saying to myself "Yeah, he's going to be killed at the end of this." They weren't even trying to hide it.

How I saw the final conversation:
Kil'Jaeden: "You screwed up and tries to hide here. That's rather sad..."
Illidan: "Nah, I wasn't hiding or running away. Just a little setback, was going to go back and finish the job. Srs... I wasn't hiding."
Kil'Jaeden: "U-huh? Well, these friends of yours are tough. Go destroy that chair, but for real this time, kk?" *disappears*
Illidan: "Well damn... Some hiding place."

I started playing Warcraft 3 when I was about 9 years old and I LOVED Kael’thas and Lady Vashj. It’s such a shame that they had to be killed off without offering more than just a boss encounter.

I hate how the Blood Elfs was abused by humans after their Well was destroyed. FFs without the elfs humans wouldn't even have magic or be close to their power later on.

They did. The night elves helped them first, and they returned the favor. Then Maiev and Illidan went to Outland, while Tyrande and Malfurion returned home.
9:40 He got full army of knights and footmans with him. Garithos doesn't care about Prince Kael and Blood Elves warriors. He never trusted him and Blood Elves and it was a mistake. Garithos betrayed and wanted waiting for to execute Kael and his Blood Elves.
Thx for uploading those vids, i love the story of warcraft 3 so much but cant be arsed to play missions (build X, make soldiers ...etc) so really appreciate it. Watching them for the 3rd time in the past year or 2 now.

I think they just wanted to show how ''zealous'' the blood elves are but it does make it look bad in the cinematics, as if they're mindless fools who can hardly wait to commit suicide.

I don't understand... just how many blood elves were following Kael'thas when he was captured in Dalaran? Once they got to the other side, they kept their numbers strong all the way to Tempest Keep. Wouldn't that have been, like, at least half the population of Quel'thalas?
Iirc, the Scarlet Crusade forms later on, around the time the Ashbringer comic takes place (it's part of that story). I think its first leader was the father of that Abbendis woman we kill in Northrend.

I truly despise people like Garithos for it is because of them and thier ideas that demolish alliances, set treaties ablaze, and obliterate all means and forms of peace, reason, empathy. Why must they be so engulfed in pride, arrgoance, and hatered which blinds them to many things like peace and other possibilities? :(

The Infernals and enemies were killed too quickly in the last parts, You used the Cheats built into the game to do this.

Probably because beings of such power can only pass through special portals, such as the one Kel'thuzad opened in Dalaran for Archimonde (which then got closed in this campaign).

Alliance Campaign in Gameplay.
25:49 illidan turns into a demon while he is talking to kael but his voice is not sound like a demon.
Jeez, why didn't Kil'Jaeden just use the portal both Kael'Thas and Archimonde use and lead the forces of Illidan and Outland to smash the damn zombies into powder? For a guy who could probably squash Arthas like a bug, he sure doesn't take advantage of his own powers.........
Garithos wouldn't last a tenday. If I was Kael'thas, I would have dispatched an assassin simply to let another take his place. It would be justified because it's treasonous what Garithos did. In hindsight, why did Kael tolerate him for too long?
It would be the last thing a broken Alliance needs...

blizzard loves pandas :DD if anyone noticed even illidans blades have a panda face stamped on them; in RoC the panda is happy, now, after becoming a demon the panda is mad
My question is... did Vashj get order by Illidan to secretly start helping the blood elves and to start recruiting them to their side, or was it it was Vashj's personal motive? Because in Outland, after they help Illidan get freed from the jail cell, he seem to not know Kael or anything about this recruitment.
Lady Vashj did say she and her Naga comrades are on their own now. Yet we know she is still in league. She must have meant that her motive to help Kael was a personal one. Perhaps you are right, Lady Vashj helped the Blood Elves on her own will without Illidan even knowing. She probably saw the Blood Elves as a possibly ally and maybe even sympathized with them.

Thats why i rolled horde on wow at beggining.I fucking hate the grambling human alliance they treat the other races with contempt and hatred.They forgot how it was the High Elves that helped em maintain the civilization at second war.
+Alton It's not the entire alliance though is it, there are horrible leaders on both sides this guy is just one example on the alliance side. Horde have equally horrible leaders; are you forgetting about Garrosh?
The Alliance repeated the mistakes of the past when Jaina betrayed the Sunreaver blood elves in Dalaran without a just reason, killing or imprisoning them on a whim. Garrosh was no saint himself, sure, but with repeat crimes based on race, it's no secret why the Alliance isn't all good, either.
I almost rolled Horde myself on WoW too because I saw the evil and corruption within the Alliance, particularly in the humans. However, they're capable of both great good and great evil. Yet the Horde always seem to have that solidarity of valor the Alliance a lot of times lacked.
Scrotus Maximus (love the name BTW), I have a question, I noticed that in beginning of chapter 5 Illidan is in his Demon form, was it a random glitch that made it so, or have you tweaked around some moments in custom editor?
+Toneai2007 It's not made by me. I've looked into the map(s) just now and can't identify the trigger that would do that, it just seems to create Illidan like all the other heroes (and learns that ability at the start). It's interesting that the metamorphosis simply expires (with no apparent relation to the cinematic) almost precisely 60 seconds later, so it could be a rogue trigger somewhere turning it on upon initialization.
i had a scene at legacy of the damned, where u defeat balnazar, and i just hit the avatar on garithos like 0.5 sec before the scene had started, and garithos just started to run away at the scene and varimathras couldnt kill him with rain of fire so after few sec waiting, the scene continued the conversation between sylvanas and varimathras lol.

Frozen throne is the DLC which is still in the same Warcraft 3.
Why didn't Akama and the Draenei help Illidan and the Naga out at the frozen throne?
I was playing normal mode and I did not use any item cause I don't know what does the item do so when I did not using any item I win everytime and until I fight that big orc thing with the horse body and elephant trunks I killed him I click a glowing yellow thing I don't know what did I just click my army was alive again

I think that could be a cartography error, I mean I guess the three WotLK continents were in the same configuration and mostly recognisable. Another possibility is that the kingdom was named after the planet (though it would be strange, like a nation being named world or earth).
Um, I think Stormwind was called "Kingdom of Azeroth" in the first game. That could be it.
