Note: This is a bonus single player campaign and it is not part of the expansion's main storyline. It follows the adventures of Rexxar, a half-orc half-ogre, as he helps the orcs found their new nation of Durotar. The heroes you can control are: Rexxar (Beast Master), Rokhan (Shadow Hunter), Chen Stormstout (Pandaren Brewmaster) and Cairne Bloodhoof (Tauren Chieftain). You can also briefly control Jaina Proudmoore (Archmage), Drek'thar (Far Seer) and Nazgrel (normal unit).
Note 2: Because of the nature of the gameplay, the storyline may not always be as linear as it is in normal campaigns.
NOTE 3 (IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACTS II & III): this means you are playing on and older version of the game (probably the first retail). You need to patch the game to play the last two levels. To do this, you can either connect to battlenet (it will upgrade automatically) or go to "us.battle.net/s..." and download/install the patches manually.

Man i fucking LOVED this bonus campaign, after finishing the game and having a blast with everyone, to find out Blizzard still had a amazing surprise...I love WC3!

Yes I think it was. I never realised it when i played it. Not until watching this video did it make sense.
I think WoW now is a prototype and that warcraft should stayed strategy game it was simply better
yeah this was basically a prototype for wow. especially in the second stage its basically the same thing. when blizzard recieved enormously positive feedback for this rpg type of game, they knew what had to be done.

im waiting for a warcraft 4 with epic campaign and cutscenes and endless modmaps. warcraft 3 and hl1 (aka 1.6, vampire slayer, natural selection etc etc), the best lan games of all time, because they have one thousand different maps and mods.
It really goes to show how terribly the writing in WoW is that the grand Admiral, the man written to be wrong, looks right.
Good thing Classic is back. My head canon do not recognize the Activision writings after Wrath.

@@eduardorojas1770 Isn't WoW full of constant fighting between the Alliance and the Horde? A peaceful coexistence in the World of Warcraft does not seem to be an option. It's WARcraft after all so go figure.
Well, Rexxar said at one point that he belongs in the wilds, the guy loves his freedom and a warchief has all kinds of responsabilities that would keep him occupied. Nazgrel would have been an option, but he's still leading the Horde expedition in Outland. Thrall (Blizzard :P ) should have made Garrosh leader in Outland (either from Thrallmar or Garadar) and brought Nazgrel back to lead from Orgrimmar imo.
One thing I think was a massive missed opportunity was for Gazlowe to fight. I can perfectly see him as a Tinker hero, and it would fit so well since he's an engineer in the lore, and he more or less has the same voice as the default Tinker, much like Lady Vashj the Naga Sea Witch, Anub'Arak the Crypt Lord, and of course Beastmaster Rexxar and Chen the Pandaren Brewmaster
Watching Jaina's story in BfA and all the callbacks to this campaign regarding her father... Man, so much nostalgia.

Only wanted to see the last part where you fight the admiral. The way I killed the admiral is by luring it's troops and killing it one by one. Also I destroyed the defence towers and whatever creep-spawning building I'm allowed to destroy. Then just overwhelm the admiral with pure numbers :)
Thanks for putting this series of vids together. It's been nice to watch 'em again without having to play through the entire WC series again, getting too old for this, hehe.

Wow's lore is told mostly through quest text, scripted events, some (very few) cutscenes and even novels and shortstories, thus making it difficult to convert into a decent video. Your best bet would be to check one of the lore sites dedicated to WoW (such as wowpedia or wowwiki), where they have all these elements. Some UA-cam users also made custom videos based on specific questlines or events that may be fun to watch.
I've only ever played Tides of Darkness and WoW, so I've kind of been missing out on a lot of lore.. :) Thank you, you answered great deal of my questions.. And thanks for uploading, it was awesome :D

51:08 My first WoW toon(human warlock) was inspired from the Rexxar campaign and from this specific moment.
He was an ensign in the Kul Tiras Navy, a sorcerer. He was severely wounded from the battle and was dragged off to safety. And that's where it all started for him.
My RP was creepy: undead priest, originally from Southshore. The character commited heinous crimes against poor children to satisfy his lust, and therefore he got executed in the worst way possible. Later resurected and serving the Forsaken, I spent a lot of time in the Tarren Mill / Southshore war, and sometimes raided the orphanage of Stormwind...

They should have made Beast Master, Shadow Hunter, and Demon Hunter playable classes in WoW.
Beast Master is a playable spec, and you never know if any of those classes will be available in future expansions. As of now, it wouldn't be smart to put out due to class balance.
Big Beef I guess. I always thought they could've made Demon Hunter an Alliance exclusive class, and Shadow Hunter a Horde exclusive.

yeah he can be killed in Blade's Edge, but still he is one of the greatest champions of the horde, I could say as big as Vol'jin or as Cairn (while he was still alive lore-wise, which was another stupid idea from blizz, to go and have him killed)

Oh, wow! Harpies, centaurs... They CAN speak! Damn, WoW, you need to do a better job with that. Doesn't help that, as far as I know, the harpy units only have one speaking line (and it's their one and only joke line), and the centaur units don't have ANY speaking lines.
