- This video contains the cinematics and story sequences from the first campaign, "Exodus of the Horde", of the game "Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos" (2002), developed by Blizzard Entertainement.

This campaign was part of the Warcraft III demo at first. The first two levels where then included in Reign of Chaos retail, while the last three were included in the Frozen Throne expansion.
NOTE: This video is a higher quality version of the campaign I uploaded last year.
Note 2: In this campaign you play as the orc race, the main hero being Thrall.
Note 3: The demo version of the last three levels has voice acting but lacks background music during in-game cinematics. The retail version (which I have not included in this video) has the music, but lacks the voices (they have been removed because otherwise there would have been a need for language localisation).
NOTE 4: This video's version has both sounds and music in all missions. I've also added a few extra scenes.

Maybe if they didn't give them their weapons and mounts in the prison, the murlocs might have destroyed the horde then and there.
I absolutely love your videos, these stuff help us to remember what we played many years ago and how we harnessed the great origins of the Warcraft story.

I don't think I've ever heard a murloc talk before.
They are part of the prologue campaign. There are 2 ways to play them: 1) In TFT, you can find them in the "Custom campaign" section. 2) Get the War3 demo and play all 5 from there. More information about the differences are below the video.
This was the Warcraft that we all know, looking back at the past 2 Warcraft games and expansions, the game has improved a lot! It would lead to the Frozen Throne, then WoW! Proud of you Blizzard Entertainment, without Warcraft, there won't be WoW and Dota!
Real quality story walkthrough
Weird, I had the full game ages ago but I don't remember ever having the missions on the island with Thrall. The campaign went straight from when he got the ships and sailed to Kalimdor into the human campaign. Next time I see Thrall is when he has actually arrived at Kalimdor and the horde is scattered. Anyone know why?
Dominic Hughes Those missions are part of: 1) The War3 Demo (which has all 1-5 of them); 2) The TFT sample custom campaign (only the last 3-5), from the custom campaign menu.

First Campaign
You probably have the Demo version, not the full game. The full game has both the prologue and the human campaign available from the start.
Damn, i love thrall even if my wow character sinked with deathwing thanks to him and he took all the credict but i still love him! XD

Holy crap, Murlocs can speak languages other than their own? o.o I thought that one in WoW -- the one who's friends with that member of the Blue Dragonflight -- was the exception?
I wish they'd explain how Medivh came back. Other than magic I mean..
Magic made it happen
in the original games it is strongly implied that it was his soul trapped in the mortal realm because of the bad stuff he did in the events of WC2 and so he had to "make it right" before his spirit could find peace. Thats why at the end of Reign of Chaos after Archimonde is defeated he says that he will now "take my place among the legends of the past", as in his soul has found peace after making up for his misdeeds and he can finally move on into the afterlife. This was obviously what was meant in the original lore but Blizzard has since retconned it to mean that Medivh *literally* came back to life and is roaming around somehow which makes no sense if you take his last words after the Battle of Hyjal.
