These musicians are young lol, prolly in their late 20's (or early 20's in this video). Yet somehow all insanely skilled at their instruments. About that snare, I actually really like it; deep-sounding, clangy, loose snares seem to be a defining characteristic of a lot of Japanese indie bands, no matter their genre.

It’s just that in comparison to the dual-wand wielding wizard that is Shiyu most drummers seem kinda meh 😆 Imagine if they updated this song with Shiyu? Love you guys. Love this. I remember good all days, like 30 years ago!! My friends had such an amazing band. We spent all afternoons at rehearsals. Good music.

I should have been seeing Sokininaru live in Vienna last year, but lockdown happen. Still hurts. At least I got a DVD of a gig in Japan with the last album. Fan for live after seeing them luve in London in 2019.
I found out about this band from some other reaction channel reacting to this song about a year or so ago. Then went and listen to a lot more of them. They kick ass! And good reaction guys!
Been a huge fan of these guys for a while now! So this was before the addition of their new drummer and was a little before the settled down on their current sound. I'm to see you guys listening to them! I super recommend their song Lament Moment!
@@dicodec Yeah, but it cost me $2000 for a $15 show.. I love Sokoninaru. So I left work on Friday noon to be back at work for Monday morning. I live in Montreal .. the show was in Netherlands. They performed in a lovely little town called Goes, over 3 hours by train from Amsterdam. I was so close, 6 feets away from the guitar player and I had the bass player in my left eye. Great, so great, for me it was better than a week in the south.
