I love natto!!! I made it for the first time. Fermented it from natto spres, waited, ate it with fermented brown and wild rice and coconut aminos!!! Yum. I also mixed some in fermented South dough from spelt and einkorn flours and made a pancake upon with a ate a couple of wild chicken eggs and homemade raw milk yoghurt. Omd! So delicious!
@bigjapan2020 i tried to make it again today. And I did not have the same result so I assumed somebody was cooking.Somebody buttery butterscotch stuff.Next door to me. Or the worst situation maybe it was a seizure.
@@arunikahelio9289 hahaha😄 Are you making it in a yogurt maker? When you make natto yourself, it can have a really bad ammonia smell! When I made it, the ammonia smell was so bad I couldn't eat it.
I can’t get all of those ingredients so I eat it this way: brown rice on the bottom, then natto but no sauces (can’t have sodium or sugar). Top that with 1/4 cup of hummus, thin celery slices, minced onion and garlic powder. Top that with chopped cilantro leaves. I have sauerkraut as a side dish.
Thank you for the comment🥰wow interesting!! I never think Natto with hummus … but also hummus is beans so probably good! I will try to eat with that 😆Thank you for the tips 💕
@@NancyLionStormYea, thanks for the idea of saurkraut. Kicmchi is too spicy first thing in the morning. It messed up my stomach. Eating saur or citrus flavored things with Natto is more edible for foreigners. Top it with runny eggs.
I was curious and since frozen Natto is hard to get in countryside Germany I started making my own. Loved it from the start so - it might be different from person to person if you like it (my housemate flees from the smell alone, lol), and not so much be about being a foreigner.
Thank you for your comment🥰 You made it yourself! amazing! I hated natto when I was a child, but as I grew up I started to find it delicious. It may take some time to get used to it.
I love it, and I have made so much of it that I had to put it in the freezer. I have to admit that the first time I tried it, I did not like it at all, now I eat it every day.

i got a question about natto. please help so when i use natto for breakfast i normally use the microwave and heat it up for 20 seconds then add soy saucee and add it to rice and add egg i didnt need to microwave it right? just mix it with sauce and add it to rice?
Usually eat natto without heating it up. Natto bacteria are said to be killed to some extent when cooked at temperatures above 100℃. However, white rice tastes better when it is hot!😍
@@bigjapan2020 What I found when making Natto is put in fridge after fermenting take out once a day or twice and stir for a couple minutes. I do this for three days and their is no smell. I just began eating Natto and I love making it and eat it for breakfast with Kimchi, cucumber, cilantro green onion and sometimes a bit of Tamari sauce. I can now eat it by itself. And I eat it for dinner as well. Can't get enough.
@@chucklopez6190 Thank you for comment 🥰Do you make Natto? Fantastic! sounds like you are Japanese! haha You already know how to eat it! I never tried Natto with Coriander! I will try it! Thank you 😘

Don’t heat your Natto. In a high temperature, you might kill the enzymes. If it’s frozen, defrost it!
