your genius of design shines twice. :
1 starting with weapons, realising how their requirements have knock-on-effects for everything else.
2 Realising one of the knock-on-effects is the necessity of the wheelchair-legs because of the no-freezing-when-firing.
Impresive.
any chance you make a quad legs build? is one of the mech styles im kinda missing and this build of yours was STELAR, really solid and it feels like peak potential.
@@nicolasvillasecaali7662 I definitely have quad leg builds to show!
Can you do a melee optimization video next?
If he does, I hope he does the laser drone + slicer combo. The slicer is unique in that it holds enemies in place for the longest time of all melee weapons with it combo, which lets the laser drones output their full DPS against the staggered target. It's an explosive combo. It can also be done with bullet orbits, but the drones do more damage.
@@IntrusiveThot420 bullet orbit got some meaty stagger tho
Higher = more damage. What else do you want to know?
@@IntrusiveThot420 What weapon are you using to build the stagger to actually be able to use the laser slicer?
@@aidanklobuchar1798 kicks, solo zimmer, assault armor pops, etc
This was a lot of fun to watch. Not just because of the build, but because you show how to change your playstyle and adapt form one match to the next. Please more of this! Usually these kinds of videos only show the build and pubstomp arena clips.
Extremely clean zero fat build 👍🏾 I run mostly melee & this build would chew me up.
Excellent video.
The combination of theory and practice in one is instructive and informative, along with calm commentary.
Looking forward to future videos.
I'm glad you're doing the energy parts all in a row. Keep it up!
Quality build and content.
Cant wait to see more!
cool showcase of the build! not only explaining why but also showing us in practice
This was great! I love the explanation of the build followed by all 3 variants of combat you might want to face with it.
So, I've been playing this for a couple of days now and I absolutely love it, it's a pretty insane build and it gets people pissed a lot lmao. Please make more build videos like this! This is so much fun to play with.
love how indepth all your ac6 vids are and the general vibe. Subscribed.
Welcome aboard!!! ty
Love your in depth videos
I like doing this but with the basic laser shotguns instead, as high energy firearm specialization makes the charge attack fast and act like an almost better laser rifle shot. Meanwhile, the basic shot is better for playing keepaway while people chase you down than the laser rifle because the spread is more likely to clip them and in general does more damage
Good points!
I just use zimmermans because stagger is everything in PVE
It’s not very hard to get close enough to enemies in PvE so if you use double laser shotguns (you can use either, because the more spread out one that basically has a melee as it’s charge that does insane damage… but the more condense shot one has its benefits) and double defuse laser cannons you just murder everything in the game and it has insane stagger on top of it so you’re not missing out on that like you usually do on energy set ups.
@@amorfati4927double diffuse laser cannons double heavy laser rifles for me 😂
Damn, very impressive play and nice optimized build! Appreciate you going deep into the stats of it all as usual!
Thanks for the video, you solved 2 of my current problems. Not only the build, i can also use this as a reference to rank S that mission.
👍 no problem
Love these videos, even if the algorithm doesn't 😉. You've kept the fire alight in me and helped me try different builds!!
I just found your channel today and I'm super impressed with your work but more than that, you're also an author? Super cool man, I'm sticking around and maybe even give your novel a try even though I don't read fantasy too much
Yep, also an author! Welcome aboard and hope you enjoy the stay! :)
Cool dude, I learned a lot from your videos lately
I'm glad I'm not the only one who takes fashion into account when picking a head piece.
These videos are great, your generator breakdown video was extremely helpful for helping me optimize my en output. I kept having an en shortfall when trying to use the Natch core piece and couldn’t figure out why I kept getting a shortfall even though the en load was less than other cores. Thanks again
Excited for every vid
ty ❤️
awesome video. looking forward for more build videos like this
Subsequently this is an amazing Anti-Zimerman build. EDIT: Which is what I am gonna use the build for ONLY.
Honestly, really happy to have found someone who both seems to know what they're talking about, and is also providing more than just "this is the best, period, but I'm not going to provide the data to back that up" - your generator and head videos alone have seriously boosted the amount of fun I have in game, simply by de-mystifying how generators work (and causing me to admit that yes, the VP-20x series of generators is just that good).
Really looking forward to you doing that for cores, arms, and legs - especially curious about the latter, because while they seem simple to optimize for I'm probably missing something that'll be obvious in hindsight with them. Cores would also be a question - I'm assuming the VE-40 is "best" if you've got the weight to spare, but optimizing for performance to weight is something I'm not sure of.
I KNEW IT! I KNEW THIS LOADOUT WOULD POP OFF (i joined pvp before even beating campaign, walked into lobby with those guns but on a middleweight biped frame and CLEANED HOUSE)
Thanks for this!
I've been tinkering with a pure energy build but I could never get it quite right. I never considered using the wheelchair for charged attacks!
Best informative ac6 content on youtube :D
Great vid, love seeing how other people start builds from scratch. Would love to hear your thoughts on the Tai Yang Shou
I see Chrightt with a build release -- no hesitation I click
I'm glad I made the right choice of using Melander C3 arms on my handgun build before watching this
Nice to see someone else use the basic laser rifle. Really seems to be slept on.
That opening clip was terrifying.
I already love your other videos, but seeing your builds now looks like will be a trip. Hopefully you'll follow up with a Karasawa build, or a melee one. I tried making a Karasawa build, but the darn thing is so HEAVY in this game.
Yeah the Karasawa has too many downsides. Coral weapon builds seem more fun as they do true damage and ignore all resistances.
The algorithm has blessed me today. ez sub.
im enjoying these videos along with Myndrrr that made the 1. OP PVP build w the stun guns.
I basically played through the whole game with this setup,
Except in the second half of the game I constantly swapped to the Zimmermans, grenade launcher shoulders, and a few other weapons... and that made me change a lot of my upper selections.
The speed of the wheelchair is something hard to nail down with constant weapon changes, but it definitely made it to the end.
So very simply, dual fire Zimmermans, and dual-fire your laser rifles always. You may miss one volley, but you will fire fast enough to stagger every enemy AC in the game with this combo.
Very few enemies could actually dodge 2 or more volleys in a row. The only trouble is missile-heavy fights or the lava dumpster
awesome!
The laser chair slaps. Try the tank treads and the heavy lasers in your arms too absolutely dominates.
God I love this game...
Great robot btw!
Thanks :D
I want to try this on a build using Tetrapod legs since I enjoy hovering but man those little tank legs got you ZOOMING
Awesome AC name
YEEEEEAAAAAAAHHH LAZERS!!
17:11 Daaaaaaaaaaaamn that dodge
bro this build is OP af, in pvp
So far i made a laser gun+trueno build; a gatling +songibird+twinblade and what i would call a "grasshopper knight" with shield+shotgun+laser blade build work both as PvP and capable to defeat PvE up to the final boss.
is good to see other builds that are not only advertised as good for PvP but can hold their ground in PvE, will give it a try soon.
Solid wheelchair design with dual zimmermans and dual songbirds got me through the second half of the game
I feel like quad legs is a good alternative choice for higher acs load limit to be able to sustain yourself in front of the enemy without getting staggered. The major downside of the wheelchair is its surprisingly low acs load.
I've tried the quad legs, and it performs quite a bit more poorly because you must be in the air to cancel out the charged recoil/cannon recoil. This doesn't give you energy when you need it to spend it often. Your base movespeed is also wayyyyy slower.
My favorite part about these videos are that I just am getting confirmation of what I thought stats meant. Really the only stats that went over my head are the accuracy stats and your video on that really cleared that up!
Btw could you do a video on weight load and en load? How much more mobility do you really get by having high equip load legs but a light AC, what's the ideal happy medium between weight mobility and AP, what the true statistical trade offs are from going as light weight as possible to going as high AP and weight as possible, what the ideal light weight and heavy ACs are that reduce the drawbacks as much as possible while still getting all or almost all of the benefits of being light or having high AP and boost kick damage, what part should you replace first to reduce EN/Weight load to squeeze into the maximum EN/Weight load limit, etc.
For simplicity you might want to break it down into three separate videos for each weight class, but that'd be super helpful and I'd really appreciate it 😄
Your build videos your strats and why the equipment matters have been absolutely game changing.
Ive been watching you since that dark spell in elden ring. Probably a bit before that, and you have just been absolutely wonderful to watch.
Also... PLEASE never show me that cute blue kitty crying again 😭
Its soo cute 🥹
5:46 Ah perfect, the arms I use for fashion also happen to be perfect for my favorite weapons lol.
I’d kinda like to see a Karasawa rifle build. It seems very difficult to build around
It has too little ammo.
@@AesirUnlimited way too little yea. And I find with EN optimization it charges to full very fast, and then it overheats and you’re down 10 more ammo😂
Just use the VE-20C and a core that will further boost the generator, pop on some heavy legs and BOOM, you're done.
@@GrieveIV they should double the max ammo, and give it a few more uncharged shots before it overheats but then have the charged shots take up a little bit more ammo to offset the new max ammo a bit.
@@AesirUnlimited that’d be fun
I appreciate the PvE and PVP bit thant aren't just the best fights
It's literally my lazer canon build, its funny, but I tend to use more charged atacks, its fun!
i based it off a MS from gundam from the new series, its fun!
This build is insanely good and easy to use tq😂
In pvp This destroys most build except missle boats for me at least
Appreciate the new series! Could you make one for a Pulse Blade build?
I will get to them one by one!
Oddly enough did a similar build based on the R-2 Powered from the Super Robor Wars game
Assault boost tech: pulling back or pressing S loses all your momentum, pressing forward + jump lets you stay quick
I prefer the diffuse laser cannons with double energy shotguns.
repeatedly assault boost at them, and burst with 4 laser shotguns if they are ever close to you.
i tried doing something similar but in my case i had duel laser shotguns on the back and a lance , the usual combo is to unload both laser shotguns for instant stagger and dmg and then insta kill them with the lance. I one hit k.o about half the bosses in the game like this
I'd really recondmend pairing the laser drones on the shoulders with those rifles. That way in situations where players are backing off after you pop a pulse shield they can still be pressured. Also, make sure to charge the drones before firing.
The drones don't benefit from the generator though
@@flavorgod That is correct, but try dodging them.
I made a build with dual laser pistols dual laser drones with the 150 energy weapon spec generator. I had the basho helm and the cheapest EN load arms on with the highest generator output adjustment core and the EN load was so tight I couldn’t even run the Alula or Fleugal boosters as it put me into EN shortfall, landed on the Gridwalker to make it work. It feels min-maxed took like 30 minutes of tinkering to get there lol.
I named it “Laser Storm”
Also, laser pistols charge shot I agree is bad bad, I only ever rapid fire them.
Love your builds and analysis! What would be your recommendation to replace the legs after nerf? I feel its not fast enough to dodge shots anymore... or maybe just switch to bipedal.
I use the chip with high close, and mid range tracking for almost every energy build. Up close absolutely violates Zimmerman
I want to try firearm builds but can't stay away from my melee builds. They are so much fun, even when using your bare fists on the right arm!
My 400 speed meme build will be fast enough to reach your tank and chew on the tip of those laser cannons.
Chrightt played quite well, despite his loss.
Chrightt never dissappoints, please do a build the ransetsu RF. The efficency of this weapon is quite high and running it with a shield yields excellent results against dual weapon builds, even the stun guns!
Still gotta look into the buffed rifles for sure!
This is pretty much my laser boat build. Only difference is I swap one laser canon with plasma canon.
It kills me to hear all those versions of "Nachtreiher" 😂
love the ac community
Imo his version is better than the ones saying naktreiher
For anyone interested, the ch in nacht is a hard h sound.
My legs are broken
The knee caps are stolen
I'm forever bound to a chaaaaair
You must really love BugCat Capoo
absolutely adorable
Could you provide a build code for this? I kind of what to try it out once I get more parts.
Yep, I just added it to pinned comment.
It's very nice. I'm a bit adverse to using the wheelchair though, and I'm a fan of the plasma weapons.
Your videos have helped me with optimizing and I'm thankful.
Edit: Does energy weapon spec help with some of the melee weapons or no?
Doesn't affect melee.

It's seem you haven't make a build guide for melee yet, I hope that you will make some soon, especially the energy and coral build
I definitely will!
I'm running something similar but with regular biped legs. I really feel the recoil after each shot kills the weapons for me, since I'm aways stopping to fire. It's hard to compete with the freedom of movement the wheelchair gives for those guns. Still, dual laser canons, 1 light laser rifle and the little gem have been my bread and butter for as long as I had then avaliable
If you don’t like the tank treads you could also try the tetrapod. I have used a similar build (just with one big 10 cell missile launcher instead of one laser cannon) and it’s nice to just hover and spam lasers.
The charged shots or standard cannon shots slow you down but if you’re hovering anyway you’re not as vulnerable. I’ve picked a good booster for assault boost (I think it’s buerzel) to get into the air easily.
If you want some kind of bipedal like legs the reverse joint tends to work better.
Since they are more mobile you tend to use angles when you hop (either straight up or quick boosting gives you a long directional hop) to be in a better situation since the movement is more erratic instead of the consistent movement of a bipedal.
so what kind of build would you suggest for the coral weapons, since they don't seem to benefit from the generator percentage boost?
Depends on which coral weapon you want to run. I think a lot of people just run all the coral weapons together for the looks, but I think they all have a separate playstyle.
Hey Chrightt! A question I started asking myself but didn't know how to answer for Elden Ring was "How much Dex is optimal on a caster build" from the pov of cast speed. Is there soft/hard caps on the scaling in cast speed? Can being a balanced Dex/Caster build be worthwhile vs a pure caster (int or faith) with the radagon icon talisman.
I know not the same game as this video, but something that's been floating in my head lately and wondered if you'd looked into it at all ^^
There isn't really a softcap for cast speed because it works more uniformly across the dex values. Starting animation of spells also have very varied amount of frames, so it really depends on spell to spell. If a key spell in your arsenal is greatly affected by dex investment, you might want to invest in dex.
Really cool build o: also I had a question that people seemingly talk about that may effect even this build which is: Is it true that kinetic dmg weapons grant a greater stability dmg opening? (When you stagger) than laser/energy weapons?
Had folk notice in PvE enemies recover faster if its energy that inflicts the accumulation than kinetic
No, nothing to do with energy/kinetic. PVE enemies seem to just recover quicker after repeated staggers. You can see from the PVE clip the first PCA boss still gets staggered for a long time despite me running energy weapons.
@@Chrightt Good to know! Thanks ya
i made this on my own before i saw the video, except i used the fatter laser rifles since they dont ricochet as much
even funnier is that my color scheme is very similar
great minds think alike eh?
What would you think is better to optimize with the following
Booster Thrust Vs Quick Boost Reload
And
Recoil Control Vs Firearm Specialization
#1 depends on the theme of your AC i.e. mine is more about kiting so QB stats are less important, just need them to dodge.
#2 depends on weapon. Very specific.
Is there a major benefit to using soft lock rather than hard lock? I tend to prefer hard lock since it seems easier to strafe enemies.
I like soft lock better for my own movement (plus I'm using mouse and keyboard so don't want to lift my mouse). I can look the other way and assault boost away etc.
Hard lock also makes your shots less accurate. Soft lock is better at tracking the target.
What would you use against the mini boss at the end of the Chapter 3 mission "eliminate enforcement squad"? That space is rather tight and hard to maintain medium range engagement.
Double laser shot guns and double diffuser laser cannons.
You can achieve great success on that map using kinetic builds with high stagger to just melee or stun needle punish that PCA officer. Be fast enough to kite his dashes/melee and you're all set. Bipedal legs are easier to maneuver than tank legs for quicker movement changes.
Since back weapons are not physically connected to your arms and don't use your arm load, are they affected by the firearm spec stat?
Yep, they still are if they're a "firearm" type like the laser cannons, stun needle launcher, earshot, etc. Missiles, orbits, drones don't.
My build right there just different body same legsand when using laser shotgun i use diffuse cannons
Why not plasma canon in the shoulder for the charge attack? It charges pretty quickly and you already know that the charge projectile is extremely fast
You can swap one out for the plasma cannon for sure, but I just liked how it is way easier to spam 2 lasers. It gets kind of awkward holding down the charged shot for a weapon while tapping the other one and moving on mouse and keyboard.
I wonder if this can beat my dual gattling dual songbird
I know the objective of this video isn’t that, but it appears this build does really well against some meta options. What would you say is a counter against azure?
relatively tanky missile boats or ones that are very fast can be difficult to fight against if you don't assault boost/chase well. I beat the zimms in the video, but very high burst impact combo setups are relatively difficult to fight against still. You need to play better than them to win cause right now the impact numbers are indeed quite high. But overall I like this build a lot because it depends a lot on the pilot's skill. If you're good enough the build can fight just about anything. I haven't had a matchup where I thought "Well then, I kinda just lose don't I?" at all.
You know it is possible to fit the large laser rifles on that same build with that same generator using the ephemera core? More big damage more better!
Yes, I specifically chose the small ones to fire more frequently and have a quicker charged attack. This also means less weight = move faster and boost faster and less energy load = faster energy regen. The tradeoff is not worth using the large one because you miss then you miss.
Small laser rifles are good at picking off trash mobs in PVE and good for spamming to force enemy to move in PVP to then hit them with the laser cannons. Notice how in PVP I always start off with firing small laser rifles first to condition them to dodge my lasers and burn energy or not dodge because they think it doesn't hurt. Just works out better overall. Give it a try!
@@Chrightt I like big lasers :)
@@Chrightt Also, if you want a good light weight option, try the laser pistols. They do slightly higher DPS at the cost of slightly less range. And their EN load and weight are lower than the small laser rifle. Also they shoot much faster!
this build is so busted, i hope it isnt nerfed lol
Oof the wheelchair legs are a real turn off, but I still want to run a laser build :l
Rather bit blue

Hey Chrightt, good vid! Quick notes about AC6-specific tech for the treads:
• When you were flying over that chasm by the bridge, instead of full-boosting, you can save energy and travel nearly as fast by buffering your assault boost. Ending in a boost kick takes you very far with treads, and there is so little delay on the tread boost kick, you can immediately chain into another, and another. This covers far more ground for far less energy cost than a continuous assault boost.
• The tread boost kick can be used against enemy ACs to trade with most melee attacks. While someone else is interrupted by your kick, you typically get a few free hits on them.
• Vertical assault boosting takes you much higher, for less energy cost, than a vertical jump boost in treads. Buffering it will also save on energy considerably.
Wait a minute is your AC name a reference to Kiseki
No, sorry. Don't know this series.
You should try spider legs. Almost no recoil while flying and you won't leave yourself vulnerable every time you fire your laser cannon or take charged shots just like the tank legs. In the air its a lot easier to dodge enemy attacks and you won't get splashed by big Radius weapons like songbirds. If you are not comfortable high in the air another good tactic with spider legs is to "hover low to the ground". (just jumping and hovering right away) That'll make it so your just as agile as your tank legs except now you can quick boost A LOT more often.
Kiting is the main reason why I am running the wheelchair legs. Tetra legs are some of the slowest legs because of the weight. Even with the fastest booster, your speed won't come close to the wheelchairs. Staying on the ground is also better for energy regen which is very needed for the VE generator series as they have a deficit versus every other generator type in this regard. This is definitely the superior leg choice. You will realize that you can't QB nearly as often without screwing yourself with the same setup but different legs.
@@Chrightt Actually its a different play style. Your wouldn't use the same generator for the spider legs. I use the IB-C03: NGI-000 which has one of the best Post Recovery stats. I use duel laser cannons + rifles and I'm on the ground like 5% of the fight. With this Generator you let your energy "Bottom Out" and the Post Recovery is so good you will recover almost your entire energy bar back a second after you touch the ground, allowing you to immediately fly back up and spam QB's. Works great when hovering low to the ground, but I go high if they have splash to avoid manual aim. QB as often as you like without screwing yourself because this generator is meant for you to bottom it out.
So not only do you have more energy to QB as often as you like in the air, but you also have a better CD on the QB. Your speed doesn't really mean anything if your opponent is in optimal range of "their" weapons and has good tracking. All that will matter is how often you can QB. Try it out, you can stay airborne and QB all day.
when you turn a wheelchair into an electric chair
Wait, no Boosters at all? Doesn’t that bring down your speed?
The 3 tank legs have in-built boosters, so you can't take a booster. This is also how we are quick despite our weight since the tank tread boosters prioritize movement speed.
@@Chrightt Got it! I really need to get the game for myself soon.
I def think these legs need nerfed even more than Zimmermans.
so you're one of the Annoying ones that runs around the map huh you tank leg looking 💀💀💀useful video though I really appreciate it😂 👍
DELETING other people mech's in PvP, with ur own creation ITS ALL THAT ❤, more mathematically correct builds plz
The arms for this build are incorrect. Try it with Wrecker Arms. More than Firearm Specialization, you need Recoil Control. Look at the recoil stat on the laser cannons, it's astronomical. Switch em out and tell me if you get better or worse results. :-)
Another guy that doesn't understand how recoil actually works... This is wrong. I don't think people actually understand how recoil works because of many people spreading false information. Wrecker arms absolutely sucks for this build because you can't land anything at mid-range. There is not much I can say other than you should try the Nacht arms with the same setup yourself and firing laser cannon after laser cannon. You will not miss from recoil. Please, please, PLEASE try it out instead of dreaming of these random numbers from clickbait videos.
@@Chrightt I mean, with all respect, did you try it in the assembly or no?
Yes, but you clearly haven't. If you did I wouldn't need to have this braindead conversation because you would've discovered something. Did the laser cannons miss with Nachtreiher arms? If you still haven't figured this out, with all due respect you have no clue how recoil works. You should just wait and see how wrong you are when I post the recoil video.
@@Chrightt Well I would appreciate some courtesy and kindness as I didn't insult you or call you names like a child on the playground would. I'm relaying that I found the Wrecker arms to be much more accurate when accounting for recoil. But if you're going to insult me and imply I'm stupid, then I'll take my input elsewhere and you can have your perfect youtube comment section where no one questions you or gives feedback.
@Rakshael You realize your tone is the problem right? You started the comment with "The arms for this build are incorrect" with so much certainty and gusto without actually trying the Nacht arms. Then, when I suggested you to try out the arms again with my setup (when I can just ignore you instead of correcting your misconception) and learn something about recoil, you followed up with "I mean, with all respect, did you try it in the assembly or no?" which sounds like you mean exactly no respect.
If you had actually read my reply and tried what I said, you would've received the perfect amount of courtesy. But your second comment shows me you're complaining that its my fault when you're the one that literally didn't try anything while having the audacity to upvote your own comment! Now, the best solution to this is not to come to my comment section and demand respect but rather visit the assembly and try the exact setup and find out why you're wrong. I never said you can't question my build, but what you're doing is selling something that is absolutely incorrect as correct just because you don't actually understand the mechanic or refuse to test out what I said.
I think JeeNiNe said you need something like 180~200 firearm specialization at most, that's both arm spec + fcs. You might have too much firearm spec.
Never too much. You will see on my FCS video that there is still a difference between 180 (if it does indeed work FCS + firearm, still testing) and 210. And double max is even snappier. As I am not worried about recoil, Nacht arms work great + it covers for close-range which only has a base 45 with our FCS.
@@Chrightt Got it; can't wait for the FCS video!
