I always did wonder why opponents acted like they had no clue I was trying to hit them with an EARSHOT grenade from a distance using manual aim. So they don’t get the beep warning… thanks for the advice.
really appreciated your insight into lightweights. They are also my favorite builds. I got frustrated with some of the patch before the last and haven't used them much since. I think this has re-inspired me. A light build was how I originally got to S rank. I used Etsujins with moonlight. Might try your build out though, it's awesome.

My in-lore explanation for this is that the AC pilot, Callsign JC, defeated and unhappy with his old AC, SCORPIO, is now risking everything in a new, more effective and extremely fast, but highly dangerous prototype designed just for him with the designation HEATSINK. HEATSINK is just as likely to kill him as it is his opponent, but at this point JC will do anything it takes to win, no matter the risk or cost.

Best FCS in the game is JC/MK1-EYEBALL. Him and I have had matches were 100% of the dmg done was cross-map maim FASAN snipes, dude must be such a terror in Counterstrike rofl. So hype for this

I'm excited for this, Jc is cool. Remember if you are in line of sight you are not safe from the Fasan's. Been hit by those 800m+ snipes before. A living VE-21A FCS he is.
The FASAN is terrific. Great to see it's getting some recognition. Easily the best energy Cannon in terms of versatility.

Probably the first viable sniper build I've seen in the game. The Fasans really make a difference with their distance and blast radius.

Not that I'm a competitive player but I so felt the notion of wanting mobility above all. It's just so satisfying to zip around and AC has great speed implementation.

I love this format so much. It’s informative, but not too podcasty. Prolly because the visuals shown actually accompany what the guy is saying rather than just being random AC6 matches

Man those snipes were dope! I didn't know about the cannon's interactions vs players trying to pop PA, definitely will take note of that whenever i get around to making a build that uses those.
Shame FromSoft didn't buff the other pistols in the patch, gonna have to wait 3 months for the next one and hope they do something regarding that

My brain has broken types of cores like this, if anyone else finds it helpful, cool:
-Rats (kites) high speed, high range, run and shoot until you win.
-Cats (rushdown) high burst movement, high damage at close range, get in their face, break their stance and punish.
-Dogs (statcheck) high defenses, big guns, harass at long range, vaporizes people if you can corner them at close range.
hybrids:
-Hawks (kite/rushdown) prefers midrange, kites in all 3 dimensions until they break ACS or find an opening to punish with a close-range weapon. If you're a fast AC with a lance, explosive thrower, or hmmr, you're probably a hawk.
-Lobsters (rushdown/statcheck) prefers close range with some burst mobility and decent defense. Can shed weapons to catch rats in a pinch, likes ambush tactics. Once they get on you they don't let go.
-Gorillas (kite/statcheck) mixes some aerial and burst mobility with raw offense and defense. Climb into a high position and shell down until someone makes the mistake of getting close to you. Gorilla is Takafumi's preferred playstyle, especially with hover-tanks.
People also talk about "knights."
-Knight: Any AC that uses both a shield and a melee or at least close-ranged weapon. Typically falls into one of the hybrid playstyles.

One thing I would like to see eventually is a video covering team ranked. I know they’re not popular to watch compared to 1v1 because of the chaos making it hard to follow, but the play styles in that mode is very different from 1v1, and arguably it has its own meta. Grenade launchers, for instance, are very popular because the AoE has a chance to catch multiple opponents.
Damn no beep on manual aim + lag is criminal, I didn't know that.

Don't discount firmeza legs. More load, which opens up more booster/generators and they're a decent bit faster in the air which helps chase down kites.
Now it may seem sad that im likely just gonna copy this build but all the things in this build are basically my preferred playstyle and parts beyond not having a melee,those shoulder mounts are some of my favorite the moment i found out there rather fast and first tried free aim in actual pvp and those needle guns are almost always on my build
The colour scheme reminds me of Gundam Lfrith which is also a prototype
damn... i have a similar build like these but it's a medium weight and use reverse joint. i use the Bald Allmind head part for Owl aesthetic and i call it... Night Owl

Damn. A while back I said I couldn't cram plasma cannons on my builds even if I wanted to, well, I guess I was wrong. I admit I haven't really had time to play last 2 weeks tax season and a bunch of car maintenance comin' up haha. Never messed with that Lamm core too much cus the QB cost intimidated me. I QB a LOT. And I can't use a coral gen don't like having to plan ahead for a redline. When I need to move I need to move miss a moment and your a step behind. I am, or was, reeaally sick of my EN supply limitations though.
Can you tell me the color values and materials for each channel?

A lot of players have a mouse with two extra thumb buttons for their shoulder weapons.
I run a similar build, but I use earshots instead. 😊

I have a build pretty similar except it’s based more around melee and missiles instead of the lasers
I’m really curious if there are any key binding or hand position tricks to holding two shoulder charges while manually aiming
Some PC players like myself use the extra 2 mouse buttons near the thumb for shoulder weapons

Yeah, this. If your main strategy is running the clock, it means you aren't a good player. You can't do that and win in 3v3s because you have to engage and your team will get cooked without you.
You either rat or rush. And rat isn't any fun to either play or play against. This game has trash pvp. Still a good game though. That coop mod might just be the ticket.

he is a lag switcher. as he mentioned himself fasans are attacker sided and go through PA.
he lands most of his shots cause of shit net and fastest projectile speed.
Everything except missiles is attacker sided you gronk. JC lives somewhere that has bad net infrastructure, he's not a lag switcher. And Fasan only goes through PA if you land the initial hit before the PA comes up. Bottom comment.
