Here we are, premiering tonight at midnight GMT or 6pm Tx, our new story for Kirowan n Conrad n their crazy friends... (this is set before Dig me no grave and is set in it's correct place on both playlists)
@@libertycowboy2495ha, we just show premiers at Tx time because that's where REH was from and most of our subs are from the US. We're based in Scotland, but we hope you didn't get hit too bad by the storms either.
I can hear conan and I believe it was kull or his friend. In no way is this an insult. I enjoy your voices. The voices help me tell who is who. I can't get enough of your renditions
Amazing work . would love to hear more of Howard's horror stories to add to these already posted . Many of these stories I replay regularly, finding more entertainment in each replay
So damn good. Im a huge HPL fan , But im just now getting into REH. Im also really big on UFOs as ive had a few sightings, So when a story starts out with folks talking about elongated skulls and ancient religion... Im instantly 100% on board.
@@TheCybrarian I used to go to the bank and along with pens and deposit slips they'd have ashtrays built into the counter for the customers lol! 🙂 You're doing great work as always, btw!
Dang, got a bit racist at the end there. Ravings of a madman? Or a memory of a life lived in a different age that's has altered his thinking to a more primitive mindset.
Just at the end? This is written by Howard. It's something that factors in nearly every one of his stories. If you want to enjoy a story by him, you must accept that he was most definitely racist and not trying to hide it in the slightest bit.
REH has an institutional racism due to time/environment but doesn't hate any races, he loves their exoticism in his escapism. But he often writes characters who are racist or become racist, like the lead female in 'vale of lost women' who's brother is tortured and killed by a tribe, she's very racist after that. And O'Donnell in this story, isn't any kind of hero, by the end he's a raving psycho who is going to murder one of his own friends because due to a possible brain injury. It interesting to read a story told in first person from a character who virtually ends up the villian.

Death, atavism, racial memories, and eons old grudges. Great story, great narration.
I would be very curious what Howard would have written had he lived out his life naturally
that'd be incredible considering how much quality work he did in a few short years
One of his best Mythos stories.
Just the thing to end March with. Even if that's still a few days away ⚔
Have not had a chance to listen until today . Great adaptation .
A very good reading. Thank you.
superb and inspiring narration sir
Fantastic! It's always a good day when there's a new Cybrarian video!🐙🔥🙌

you probably already know, but the horrorbabble channel do lots of great HPL stories
Love this.
John 'O Donnel, slayer of serpents, bane of Yig/Set, and complete homicidal maniac Schizo.
Based and ancestral-memory-pilled!
I believes there children creatures used to be Pict but I'll be covered narrow storical the people of the dark by Robert E Howard.
I was already listening, you don't need to warn me I may be offended. Over selling.
Do you chew metal filings before recording, my voice sounds like a newborn babe compared to you.
References to smoking is warning-worthy? Clown world indeed...
i know, i remember watching people smoke like chimneys on the Michael Parkinson chat show in the past

In a story about a generational genocide nonetheless.
