Hi Brett, I did not have the ejection pin mark issue at 28:48 that you had. I have built the M21 Mortar Carrier and the M3A2 Personnel Carrier in the last couple of weeks, and neither one of them had an ejection pin mark on that part. Maybe I was lucky, or you were unlucky? Either way, great to watch you build them too 👍
Hi Brett, the build is coming along very nicely, I believe there is nothing wrong with the older Tamiya kits, they still build up into a great kits, more so for beginners but also for us old hands, they also do not have a high parts count, looking forward to the next update, best regards from Australia, Les
They are normally seriously nice value for money, although I have seen some pretty steep prices for the NEW PRODUCTION RUNS of some of those old kits. Like a Bradley from the 70's used to be around €25, but when they come back in stock, the price rockets to a terrifying €50 to €60... and that's just ridiculous, and more over, absolutely not worth it. You can purchase a modern tooled Kinetic for €40 or even 2024 tooled Magic Factory Bradley for around €55! Both of which are WAAAAAAAAY better than the Tamiya one. But, granted there a lot of them in the €20 to €30 range that are very much worth it. Just like these US Half-tracks 👍 I have now built a few of them and they are still great kits! I thoroughly enjoy them 😊
Lloyd, my friend! Good to hear from you. It has been indispensable!Shoot me an email if you'd like to stay in touch. I'm guessing you're not on messenger anymore?
Perfect production. 👍🏼
