Thanks Andy. I'm really learning a great deal watch you paint. I didn't have any idea how to weather a model before but your videos that includes great segment of painting is teaching me some techniques. Thanks again and keep it up.
Watched this video 4 times. Going to get started on building a Wespe today. Thanks Andy!
Hi Andy, another great kit build, it looks really good, always love your vid's they are very easy to watch, i have learnt a lot from them. Thanks from UK.
every time i see a vid from Andy in my notification list im filled with joy
Thanks Andy!
Just nice to see one video, start to finish of a not so common Wespe.
Really enjoyed this build and if you haven’t been told lately, classical music just works with modeling.
Fabulous job Andy!!!! I've really been inspired by your work and have learned a lot from you. Thank you!!!!
Great job Andy, and I love the new tracks that Tamiya have provided.
One of your best builds so far. Great result straight OOB!
As soon as I see a white box, I know I'm in for a treat! Great kit Andy and I am exited for it to come out!
One of your best, Andy. Chipping and light staining is 'spot on' to my eye !
Superb job! I really like the heavier than usual weathering - the scratches in particular. Great kit for a diorama.
Nice build and great weathering Andy, looks really good 👌
learned a lot of your techniques and love your evaluation after you finished the built.
Nice build as always. Thanks for posting this great video.
the model is really aweome. not much weathering, just a few steps, but the result is soo complicated and looks, again, awesome!
I'm late! My suit didn't come back from the cleaners, an old friend came from out of town, I got a flat......it's not my faulllllt!
Sweet build bwt
Once again...Top marks Andy, i'm loking forward to getting this Tamiya kit. After watching your paint job, I think I'll go the dark yellow also. Cheers mate. 10/10
Another great review. Looks like a great little kit. A relatively simple build. Thanks again Andy.
I just got this kit and figured I'd see if there was a build so I could identify problem areas. Very nicely built and looks like a nice easy kit. One note though, the bar assembly at the back wasnt used to ram home the rounds. It was a gun lock and locked the rear of the travel solid so the gun didnt move around during transit. Thanks for another great video Andy.
Excellent techniques Andy, thank you for sharing!
Lovely work Andy! Nice details on the kit!
I am glad to see the paint color formulas given right on the screen. Very nice build, BTW!
I've seen a couple Wespes like this one in museums. Judging by the "through and through" holes from anti-tank weapons, the Wespe armor did not offer much protection, except maybe from rocks.
I just built the JU 87G-1 made by Revell.its a good model, but I got 2 of the stabilizer for the left cannon pod so I need to buy a replacement. the rage is real and the tears are flowing. btw great vid Andy! I love the interesting SPG, AA, & anti-tank vehicle build videos the most. GL & HH
Always impressed with your work
Stunning work as always Andy
Congratulations with 84 000 Andy, you deserve it!
Can't tell why,but view this Video again and again.love it so much!great great build.thx for this Andy👌👌👌
Good job! You never disappoint Andy! Glad to see a difference in your builds lately...alot of panthers...
Great job Andy. Keep 'em coming. Another on the wish list.
I actually picked this very kit up about a month or so ago. It's the next one on the bench after my Lang. That was also a fun build to do.
Great job Andy! Love the new turn table.
Andy, another great build. I was able to get my hands on an older Bandai 1:48 scale Wespe kit a year ago, and it had similar parts. Now you have to add a couple of figures loading the gun and add some stowage for a nice diorama.
Nice kit, builds into a good looking model. I like the multi-link tracks, fast and easy to assemble, look decent (if I'm going individual-link I'd probably go aftermarket anyways). Thanks!
Excellent 👍 Great build and weathering job! 👍
Love your builds its so cool. Keep up the good work
I too, built the original Tamiya Wespa about 15yrs ago. Good job.
Nice work as usual Andy. Must have felt like a beginners kit after the two 1000+ part Panthers.
Andy, I really enjoyed your review and construction video, your painting and weathering techniques were a great bonus in seeing how to apply the weathering in a step by step narrative. Thanks again for sharing!
Nice Video I like the timelapse with the music
Really looks fantastic Andy, great job!
great build as always!
Fantastic build Andy.
Nice build buddy :)
Beautiful! Very nice build.
Very nice...the part at the rear behind the gun between the ammo bins is the rear internal gun travel lock. Thanks for posting....
Congratulations on topping 84K subscribers! I'm ~ #8,539... And thanks for all the videos and inspiration!
Just brought one due to this vid :) can't wait to give it a go cheers for the awesome vids
Nice work Andy, great chipping on it!
Another masterpiece. You sir, are an artist.
I remember building this kit when it first came out. A real gem. I can't wait to build this updated one. Nice build really liked the way you weathered this one
Nice Andy, tanks for sharing!! See you soon. Joe
As usual, amazing build. Congrats
great job! Another nice looking model
Well done Andy! Thank you!
An upgraded wespe kit? I'm liking this!
Awesome!!!
Pls do stug IV/ some sdkfz or kv 2
Great build Andy.
Cool! I really like it.
Andy, you mentioned a few months ago a book on figures and how you wanted to start doing them. Are you any closer to this? as you don't seem to be showing this in the vids. Still enjoying btw :)
Great looking kit! I've never built armour or vehicles in a larger scale like that.... One day!
Love how his turned out
Looks fantastic mate!
Great build Andy
I really like the PnP of the paints you are using.
Andy, suggest you post your TWITCH Streams to your UA-cam channel ... both are interesting .. cheers john
Fabulous model !
Andy, thanks for these videos. You gave me the confidence to finally paint my big 3d printed scratch built T34-85. Question: what were the vehicles painted underneath? I can only assume the factory painted the base chassis with a generic colour before sending them to the crews?
Nice build!
Very nice work.
Looks real nice Andy
Gran trabajo....y excelente resultado....
Love the kit, hate the tracks. Don't know why they do that. More trouble to build than it's worth. Great job as always Andy.
That version of The Blue Danube sounds like the sound track to 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Gonna have to put this kit on my wish list.
Andi good vieo! I'd like to correct something you said, The red and wite poles you refered to are Aiming stake the artillery use the as aiming points and to take up displacement caused during firing.
Hey Andy, great video as always. Lovely tank, I might add it to my list of potential German tanks to do as a first tank. By the way, what brand are your right-angled tweezers? I saw you do some photo etch with them and have been looking everywhere for some.
Another nice one, Andy!
Great video!
looks great!
Great video Andy. 👍
Love your work, Andy... And your shop is a bucket list item for me... My time in this world is short, so I need to grab as much of life as I can... A question, If I may, I have the Tamiya 'Mark Fit Decal Solution'. Not the same?
Greetings From Jose Silva Thanks For All Your Videos I am In National City CA USA.
Master Class!
Andy do you have any news if anyone will make A30 Chalenger cruiser tank?
It's baffing that no company released it yet, it shares many cromwell parts so i would expect Tamiya do do it, especially that they released some british kits recently.
Bonjour de la France ville dunkerque. .pas mal bon travail continue comme 👍👍👍
Tamiya's engineering keeps getting more amazing all the time, those tracks are fantastic. Unfortunately, tamiya did their old upgrade practice of adding one sprue of new parts and doubling the price of the kit. I'm hoping that this latest release will cause the old Wespe kits to go down in price on the secondary market.
Since tamiya is updating this kit, how about them updating there old panther ausf. A kit? Afterall, it's "the year of the panther ". Thanks, great video.
Leave it alone best beginner kit of all time
kind of like to see how you spray painted your main gun muzzle
Nice one Andy. Very nice indeed.
What about the figures? How do they seem? I have heard you say you cant paint figures, but can you show them built up.
Perfect. Thank you
Wohoo im hyped
Hi andy, great new kit from Tamiya,I remember having the old Tamiya Marder II S.P. gun(3560) kit back in the early 80's,the gun itself on this kit looks to be almost the exact same molding of the AFV club german 10.5 cm leFH18M howitzer kit(kit number AF35S24)?,or very similar?,I built that kit just about 3-4 months ago, before Xmas, interesting, another great build by the way
Essentially the same with a different muzzle break and some different ammo....
Might I recommend Tamiya's 1/700 Shinano? I'm building it right now, and it is going together beautifully!
I love your build!!✌👏👍😎
Great build! Do you have a preferred enamel thinner for the streaking grime and pigments that you use?
I use vallejo pigments and I do like enamel washes better
Great build, the Wespe was always an interesting SPG. On another note, does anyone know how to clean up rough acrylic paint? I didn't thin mine down enough and the paint dried leaving the air brush leaving a rough grainy surface on my model.
That has become a great help.
Awesome!
I just got this kit yesterday to review.
really great vedio, love it
