thank you very much !
I was there…met John….introduced him to the mother of my eldest boy, who was in her 8th Month, with the words: he will be named “John” in your honour…..my love for John McLaughlin made me pursue the career of a guitarist, which I still am today. Much Love to John Ji….
❤
And i'm so glad that even my absolute guitar hero can play a wrong chord 30.45 a minor instead of a major chord.
This makes perfection human❤❤
Incredible. Greatest trio I have EVER had the honor of seeing live. Life changing.
The best you can get in melodic and harmonic jazz.
Three absolute masters at work and well recorded
The Photon guitar synthesizer that John uses with that fabulous acoustic guitar made by Abe Wechter..beyond awesome in a master's hands
That's awesome. Saw J.Mc live mahavishnu early 70s. Always favorite, exquisite, inspiring...
dipiazza… decades ahead of his time. the imprint for modern fusion bassists
Kai Elkhart? Jonas hell both??
No comment. John is god
i love thath grup an dominique di piazza is incredible like Genius John
Großartig! Grandios! Unbeschreiblich schön! Danke sehr.❤
What a music!!!!!!!
WOW!
OMG I saw this trio live too, before Dominique Di Piazza went to become a monk; best bass player ever I had seen live up to that point in time.
[Edited to say thank you Bibi for sharing such treasure with the man + woman of culture in this world 😂 ]
Di Piazza became a monk?!!
@@chikkipop Indeed, but I guess he's out of that phase now, because his got own channel on youtube now.
I met him at NAMM in 2007 I think. He was representing some bass manufacturer. We chatted for a while and he told me how he went into mink hood ….he was out of it by the. The following year I met him at NAMM and he didn’t want to talk to me. Had similar experience with Allan holdsworth. By the way I’m met Kai Elkhart at a jazz club in Los Angeles and we chatted for a bit. Very nice person- I didn’t meet him again so I don’t know 😜

Holy shit
A lesson to be learned here - it’s always best to start on acoustic to see if you can get grips with it then if you make any progress you can then splash out and get an electric.
Ow..... waww
