I'm 53. My hair is completely natural, slight body, fine, with a fair amount of gray around my face. As it's gotten more gray, it's also become drier, and I now use seven products after washing to hydrate, protect, and volumize if I'm going to style it. So I don't think she's going overboard on products, especially with her bleaching.

Mine is silver+ white on top+ sides. Scattered silver strands throughout the back. My natural hair was dark ash blonde. So now it looks beautiful. Do- may I suggest- trimming your hair 4-5” now. Long layers. No more bleach, etc. purple shampoo will keep it all looking silver. Just taking a few inches off all layers will improve the look+ feel so much! Keep doing your very inspiring videos!! I’m gonna try the ritual products. Thankyou 💕

I do have to use products but if I use too much my hair feels "coated". What amazed me about this video is how you went from total frizz to smooth with that curling iron alone!! I have to blow dry with round brush, iron, and then curl (I like big hot rollers on for a short time). If you had to pick ONE after shampoo product you cant live without, what would it be?

I treat my hair like it is silk. Because I have to. I have the same thing going on that you do. My hair grows fast. And then I go through this horrible shedding. I am charting it now. In July I had major fall out. And now it started this May 5th. It does seem to be cyclical. I really hate going through it. It is so depressing seeing the hair in the shower, the combs and brushes and feel it on your shoulders. But the good thing is it does come back to being thick and healthy.

My hair is very similar to yours although it has thinned some recently. Have you used the hello hydration line of herbal essences. I'm not sure how I missed this one:(

I have the same hair. Very dry, frizzy, coarse. My hair never seems to absorb any moisture, doesn’t matter what shampoo or conditioner I use 🌸 I’m a natural strawberry blonde

@Helen You must use a good amount of spray leave-in conditioner after you've washed and conditioned your hair and before you style. Then use a blow dry product before drying, and then use a heat protectant before any other heat styling. Then finish with a small amount of hair oil on the ends only. The problem is people think their shower conditioner is enough moisture but it's not. It needs to be layered in in different forms throught the whole washing and styling process. It should keep your hair looking good for 3 or 4 days. The other thing is don't wash hair more than twice a week.

@@kjbrocky I will try that. I don’t wash my hair but 2,or 1 a week, but conditioner every day, with spray conditioner and olive oil rice water and electrolytes

I wouldn't put different products on the hair at the same time. I doubt if these things are tested together and that is a chemical bath. Even if some things are oil.
