I'm 53. My hair is completely natural, slight body, fine, with a fair amount of gray around my face. As it's gotten more gray, it's also become drier, and I now use seven products after washing to hydrate, protect, and volumize if I'm going to style it. So I don't think she's going overboard on products, especially with her bleaching.
Im so grateful I went cold turkey. My hair is long silver/white in great condition. The thought of using so many chemicals & the cost would totally depress me. You are lucky as you seem to enjoy your processes. Your hair is obviously very strong & thick.

Hi great post. You have such lovely hair. You may find that if you use less products that you spray around your head ..nose... you may stop having allergies to the environment. Sooo many products and sprays, chemicals are a lot for the body to cope within the system. 😊

Hi, Lisa, i love seeing your hair grey again. My question is: will it be little easier to care for once your natural grey has grown out? I am sure that will take a while, but I just imagine you won't need to go through as much coloring. Thanks.
Any kind of box hair dye makes my hair fall out,, or any kind of developer, so I’ve just gotta do henna only when I come my hair and collagen , hyalouronic acid, colustrum supplement and I have Absolutely no shedding or breakage.

If i rubbed my hair with gloves like that. All of my length would break off. I have followed your hair journey for years. And you have the strongest hair anyone could wish for. I treat my hair like it is silk. Because I have to. I have the same thing going on that you do. My hair grows fast. And then I go through this horrible shedding. I am charting it now. In July I had major fall out. And now it started this May 5th. It does seem to be cyclical. I really hate going through it. It is so depressing seeing the hair in the shower, the combs and brushes and feel it on your shoulders. But the good thing is it does come back to being thick and healthy.
Even though my hair is much shorter than yours, I still use a lot of product on my wavy thick coarse hair . I’ve tried using less and had a bush on top of my head 😂.
Same!! It’s so funny how people in the comments are freaking out about how much product I’m using and obviously they have nowhere near as much hair as we do 🤣🤣🤣
You have beautiful healthy hair. I love some of your prior hair colors. It enhances your youthful and pretty appearance. Kudos to you for trying the gray but why embrace grays early in your life. You are still young, have the beauty to enhance your face and other attributes. Consider getting rid of the gray and pick it up again when you are in your 70s. God bless
I have to use a ton of hair products too! My hair is just like yours. You do a beautiful job with it! No matter what color it is it always looks great!

I’m not sure how much hair fall out is normal, but I think I might be losing more than normal, only because I’m noticing it I guess. I’ve been under a lot of stress, so I’m wondering if that has something to do with it.
I have the exact hair texture and after its dry it goes the same. It only looks healthier when I curl style it with the curl dryer. I get my hair thinned out about 2/3 months as I can feel it getting thicker and it hurts to brush .lucky really especially through menopause as some loose it.
My hair is very similar to yours although it has thinned some recently. Have you used the hello hydration line of herbal essences. I'm not sure how I missed this one:(

@Helen You must use a good amount of spray leave-in conditioner after you've washed and conditioned your hair and before you style. Then use a blow dry product before drying, and then use a heat protectant before any other heat styling. Then finish with a small amount of hair oil on the ends only. The problem is people think their shower conditioner is enough moisture but it's not. It needs to be layered in in different forms throught the whole washing and styling process. It should keep your hair looking good for 3 or 4 days. The other thing is don't wash hair more than twice a week.

Dear Lisa. I watched your videos with pleasure. It's crazy how much colors jou had, and still it is so beautiful. Have you tried olaplex nr 3?. I haven't colored my hair in about six months. I dont know if i am coloring it again. I'm hating 😢it now.
