Driving with the wind hitting it will show you how well it really works. I've been using it for years. I'll notice other cars hitting their wipers while it just beads off with the wind on my car. I love the stuff!
I tried Rain X a while ago, and it kinda worked. I wasn't really impressed, but the water kinda flew off the windshield when I was driving. However, when the Sun came out and I had to drive against it, the windshield was full of rainbows and streaks, like there was a thin, oily film on the windshield. When I came home, I had a really hard time getting the Rain X off the windshield. I've never tried it since.
I had this problem and want to revisit it in a video. I found that during the application of the product I had a lot of hazy streaks during application even on a washed car. I chalked it up to my own faults or a bad cloth choice. I think I experienced the same bluish film on my windows after about 2 weeks of the car sitting out in the sun. I am temped to try it again knowing that I can wash it away with some elbow grease if it happens. Adams Graphite Shampoo has been working very well but I wanted to see if there is something better on the market for windows.
i also didn't notice a difference from just keeping my class clean. i think its just this one that doesnt work because when i used the Chemical Guys one, there was beading and it was very satisfying driving in the rain it was so clear. on light rain using the wipers looks like you just washed the windshield per wipe. or it could be that if you use this rain x long enough it will start to work eventually.
I tried it and still have that bottle. I have been looking at ways to repel water from the windows. I usually wash them down with Adams Graphite Shampoo which works very well to repel water from the whole car then start to apply the RainX spray on the windows. After a couple weeks of driving in the rain it does work but for some reason it leaves some kind of film that goes hazy like other people said, have you seen that happen? Rainx makes a great windshield fluid and I wanted this product to shine. I am going to try it again using more care and more amount to see if I get the same problem with haze. I'll make a video on my channel. Generally, you can use a good wax on the windows too.
I have used rainx fluid, I feel like it worked well, I think the wipers are out of this world but the spray just hasn't made any noticeable difference. I haven't used it too much afterwards, but also because of that reason. I don't remember a haze but maybe I didn't apply as much, idk. Good tips on the other products, I wouldn't be surprised if that works as good if not better. We go to a few fairs and have bought homeade anti-fog & repellent, really enough for glasses and stuff but I should try that on a patch of a window and see if there is any differnce. Did you try driving? I think it needs the effect of wind memory serves me correctly the water slides right off even if you leave your wipers off this would be a good video to watch

You won’t be able to really tell how well it works until you drive in the rain. It doesn’t do much just sitting still.
You could be right. I may apply it again a few times and then film a quick drive in the rain. See if I get some better results.**SK**
yea def works alot better when driving man its hard to see anything when ur just parked there
Are you also using rain x wipers? If so they also have the water beading solution on the wipers as well

You have to be moving to get the effect... this stuff is actually good ! Not as good as the proper coating. But do it ones a week and it is good 👍

Think you’ll notice the difference while driving. The wind will push the water off.
Wft is a rain whiper
It works better when you're driving and it's raining, you won't need your wipers
