"If I came back tomorrow and it rained I'd probably have to re-apply it." LMFAO.

I add Rain-x windshield washer fluid to keep the coating up.

Awesome test. This confirmed my experience. That 2 in 1 is a waste of money.
As a tip for people that never used this stuff, make sure your windshield is super clean with no water sports! Just use white vinegar and cotton towel! Really work that windshield clean! The rainx is like wax, it works best when applied to a perfectly clean surface.

Getting that windshield clean before application is definitely key. I've never tried the white vinegar trick. Might have to look into that one.

Original Rain X is definitely the way to go, but BIG TIP!! sometimes there is still haze on the windshield even after buffing the absolute hell out of it lol it's very noticeable driving at night, so what I did is wait an hour or two after applying, went back and sprayed just a little bit of glass cleaner (distilled water also works to avoid spotting) on a microfiber cloth and buff it some more until the haze is gone, no more haze and the rain still beads up and rolls off!

Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely try it out. I've removed my wipers since this vid so I have to stay on top of the rain-x applications now and that haze is stubborn sometimes.

Thanks! I had to drive in to the office today and there was rain in the forecast so I reapplied it this morning. I no longer have my wipers anymore and rainx is a lifesaver, literally lol

@@Scavenger1320 i use a mf pad to apply. Apply very light pressure. In fact the rain X itself cleans the glass too. You will see the pad turning grey and even black. After every wash I reapply only front and rear windscreen because mine’s a hatch. Rear gets teal dirty. The rest can do every month or more. My cars purple too. A45 😀

rainx is a life saver in north texas especially when we get those freak storms that when tou have your wipers on full blast you still cant see anything and almost have to pull over.
do you know away to clean the inside of the windshield the best i use sprayaway and it looks good until it gets a little condensation then i can see all the streaks and smudges its very annoying

I just use one of these cleaner tools with the microfiber cloth. Does a pretty good job for me and I don't use any type of cleaner with it. amzn.to/3DlnWpj

Best way to remove RainX? I got the 2 in 1 and I’m not liking it at all.

I'd just use regular glass cleaner. The 2 in 1 doesn't do much so it shouldn't take long or very much to get it off.
