This is similar to how I make mine but yours is much better because of the whole spices, lemon, tomato puree, and fresh coriander leaves. The only things I would do differently would be to standardize (pre-blend) the dry marinade spices and finishing spices for the simmering, and to cut the chicken pieces into smaller pieces. The sugar is new to me, and I will be using it with my recipe tonight. Your finished result looks amazing! I will definitely be using your technique for an authentic and mouth-watering curry. Thank-you for sharing your recipe. By the way, have you ever used the Shan brand of pre-mixed spices for various dishes and what do you think of them?

April great recipe. Many times with consistent results. Today however no chicken just pork mince. Followed same instructions and guess what. A super curry again. Only missing ingredient chicken masala so tikka masala instead
+AprilFlower Arts I made this tonight and it is phenomenal recipe. The only issue I had was that the garlic and the onions are puréed together. This means that the garlic will burn before the onions are properly cooked. What I would suggest is removing the garlic and ginger from the onion purée and make a separate garlic ginger paste. Once the onion purée is cooked add the ginger garlic paste and fry for less than a minute to take the rawness off before adding the tomatoes. I'll definitely be trying this one again.
Rab carn if you want to add potatoes, add them along with the chicken, other veggies can be added just before you add the blended gravy.. glad you liked my recipe.. Thank you

Hi, you may use garam masala powder in place of chicken masala powder (only slight difference in the spice blend between the two).. let me know if you try the recipe.. thanks!!
