Only suggestion I have is to look at what Sega did with the old Sega Saturn controller D-Pad and try to design something mechanically similar. The Saturn controller IMO has the best D-Pad ever made.
Might be subjective but make the sticks a bit tighter plus an app to customize the lights and to map inputs like taking a screenshot on windows. Also the dpad could be improved so you cant press the center of it. Other than that its an awesome controller
I support. This controller in my country has a very reasonable price, affordable for me, suitable for people who cannot spend too much money on entertainment purposes. I hope you can make better products that are still affordable. My opinion about the x05 is it doesn't have extra buttons, gyro and macro. However, the joysticks and d-pad are very good. I was confused between x05 and data frog gg04, I chose x05 because this is a branded product, I feel more secure when buying, and it didn't disappoint me.
Please review the Flydigi Vader 4 Pro and the new 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wired/Wireless when they release! The 8BitDo are super exciting for me, ESPECIALLY the price points.
I've noticed controller companies aren't doing physical manuals as much anymore, which makes me sad because I enjoy me a good manual. Takes me back to the ps2 days.
The only thing I would like to change in Nova Lite is the d-pad. It's not that terrible, but it can't be pressed too hard. Otherwise it will be very easy to get misclicks, especially when you hit left direction the d-pad starts to Sway back and forth. And also RB and LB are not very stable and also wobble. But this is not such a big problem, since they recognize clicks when you click on any point. At least in almost 3 months I haven’t had a single time when they didn’t work. But overall I really like it. Especially its black and white appearance. I would like exactly the same gamepad, but with slightly better build quality.
Triggers feel much better on EasySMX, sticks on EasySMX are stiffer then on Gamesir nova lite, so it depends if you like looser or stiffer sticks. Vibration motors on EasySMX 05 are much better then Gamesir Nova lite.
im about to buy the nova lite just wondering if the triggers and RB-LB buttons feel loose or cheap? i want it to play in my pc and i will be using it with a cable for the lowest latency
You should do a review on the new 8bitdo Ultimate 3 Mode for Xbox. Just stumbled across it on tiktok. Wireless for Xbox, hall effect sticks... looks interesting.
Hey Kevin, question for you - do you happen to have recommendations for the best adapter to use to connect an Xbox controller and a PS5 controller wirelessly to a Windows PC? I'm essentially looking for the best adapter for both types of controllers that allows me to wirelessly use them on a Windows PC with the least amount of delay/lag.
Hey not related to this video but I wanted to put a controller on your radar. It's called the shanwan q132p I believe. It's a mobile Bluetooth controller similar to the new scuf controller. What seems very interesting is it has 4 back buttons something I haven't seen yet anywhere else and some you mentioned as no seeing yet either. It has Xbox mode, dual shock 4 mode, and an android screen mapping mode.
I wasn't really looking for another controller but stumbled onto the Gamesir Nova Lite about a month ago, which was under $20 on Ali Express and then saw that it had Hall sensors, plus I've had pretty good luck out of their controllers in the past so I thought, what the Hell, I'll buy it, lol. Yeah, it does feel somewhat cheap, especially when comparing it to other higher dollar controllers like the 8BitDo Ultimate 2.4G for example, but it's still a really good controller and has performed great for me so far. I highly recommend it, especially for the price! Great review as usual though, my man👍
Wondering if you've come across the Thunderobot G50S. Of all the "affordable" controllers out with hall sticks, I haven't been able to find video reviews of that one (well, in English, and not "omg, this seems pretty cool", 1 minute unboxing, type reviews. Ones with an actual critical eye). It seems intriguing...supposedly a good d-pad, sticks with under 1% error, and 6 macro buttons ( - I'm very curious about the 2 extra shoulder buttons), for under $50.
For me it is surprising that you always use that game with that atrocious dead zone built in, to showcase controllers. I can clearly see the struggles / issues you have to aim in that game because of that deadzone. Why don't you use a game with a proper contoller management like Apex Legends?
My experience with the Gamesir Nova Lite was not good at all. My computer would recognize it as a keyboard as well as a Xbox controller, meaning buttons would work as both a keyboard key and a controller button. Then the dongle wouldn't work right either. Bluetooth, same story. Tried upgrading the dongle, downgrading, tried all modes. For 2 hours I tried, no result. Waste of money.
@@godnyx117 I could, but I was so frustrated that something seemingly so simple wouldn't just work as it should. I regretted it right after, but harm was done
I enjoy your videos, but feel that anything on controllers older than 11 months old isn't useful as I will never buy another controller with potentiometers. Would you?
Yes. There are benefits of potentiometers (why they have been used for so long) and the Hall effect craze has been a huge marketing dump of misinformation.
@@GamerHeavenOfficial after doing a search on UA-cam for any benefits, I only found a video explaining the hall sensors don't have the feel of the pots. Perhaps you have more to share in a video? Thanks for responding.
Easy win for Gamesir, they seem to know what people want from a controller more often than 2-£$300+ controller manufacturers, that or just giving good bang for the buck, either way it's a nice controller for the price.
For the parents tired of buying 60 dollar controllers every 6 months bc theyre designed to fail. My original xbox controllers are flawless with heavy usage. These controllers now cant even last a year under careful care. My elite v2 lasted a few months before buttons stopped working. Might as well go cheap... probably the same quality. About to go this route now. My side business is floor installation. If youre local to GA I could help you out. I recommend a durable thicker mil LVP. Your chair will ruin the clear coat on a hardwood floor within a month. LVP can be very durable, but dont go too cheap... bc its cheap. Middle pf the road and greater only.
Here are some reliable controllers: flydigi apex 4, yeah that's the list. I can't even recommend gamsir considering the trigger broke after dripping it 2 feet onto carpet, mind you this controller weighs like 2 grams 🤦♂️
Bought my T4 Nova Light for $11(converted) on a Chinese store online app but local seller with vouchers and coins collected. It's great so far, both wired and wireless. Will test it more with my Android soon, hope it'll work. Update: It worked on CODM just need to update the firmware on phone.

Make a windows app for your controllers.
Please make it official at my country. I wanted to buy it but, if there's no legit aftersales I'll skip😅

How Abt now?
Only one thing sure that i can choose easysmx over gamesir is 11ms wireless latency and 3ms wired latency from gamepadla, great comparison though.

I got gamesir lite for 15$ on a sale extremely satisfied, it is my first controller
Hey can you review the new 8bitdo ultimate 2C wired? 20$
I vote thunderobot g45 pro or that new 8bitdo ultimate C2
im about to buy the nova lite just wondering if the triggers and RB-LB buttons feel loose or cheap? i want it to play in my pc and i will be using it with a cable for the lowest latency

And what about triggers' dead zones? Are those huge on nova lite? Thx for the vid!
the vader 4 pro is already on sale, when will you bring the review and do you think it is worth change vader 3 pro for vader 4 pro?
If you controller dosent have a 3mm jack how do you use an adapter for wire less?
So sad the bluetooth mod is so weak ..and not compatible with newer BT tech.
Captain, what is the best controller case?
What do you think about the durability of the controller?

EasySMX T39 vs GameSir nova lite?
EasySMS X05 better then both of those.

EasySMX X05 wins easily. Gamesir needs to step up its budget controllers game now.......
I rather have a good or decent wired controller than wireless hit or miss radiation piece of chinese junk
