    You explanation and method is very easy to understand and simplified unlike some other videos from other jazz teachers who become too technical. I have been struggling trying to improvise jazz solos with scales but do not know how to apply. With your simplified method I am now begining to understand. Thank you. And..greeeeeetings from Malaysia.

    Another fantaboulos Sherman lesson. Those licks sound very cool and I love, that you explain the theory too. Thanks teacher!

      I think it's useless, without knowing what you're doing. This way you can easily apply it to other pisitions, keys etc.

    Late to the party today, hehe... nice phrasing... and informative comments (as always!). Is this post luthier visit for the HRF? Is the neck great?😉👍

    • @GuitarversumSandraSherman
      @GuitarversumSandraSherman  3 роки тому +1

      No, that was still before. The neck is better now and although some sweat ruined the laquer, he managed to polish it quite nicely.

      @@GuitarversumSandraSherman I have only started paying attention to how learning them and paying attention to what the notes are ,teaches me the fretboard and gives me more direction for target notes in riffs /solos. Has also been the best tool for training my ear. You are a great teacher. You have made me want to play jazz!

    C - major ? Is this the melodic minor ? Im confused i thought the Ionian is just major 7 not minor major?

    • @GuitarversumSandraSherman
      @GuitarversumSandraSherman  9 місяців тому

      What makes you think this is melodic minor? It's just the simple Major Scale over a major 7 chord (ionian) and some chromatics.

      As said in the video, you can purchase the Tabs from the link below the video.
      1. I can't do everything for free. You already got a free lesson + free notation. Do you work for free?
      2. If you want to learn jazz, being able to read notation is a must.
