@@rustysguitar1 What I struggle most to learn is different beat counts and tempos. Is there a way you could do a video on basic music theory beat counts?

Wow! Thank you so much for this support to my channel! It really means a lot to me. Let me know if you have any questions. Don’t hesitate to ask. Enjoy your weekend.🤛
Hi Rusty, I have to say thanks for the lessons. I recently picked up my guitar after a nearly 30 year hiatus, and it was a struggle at first. After watching several of your videos, I am now able to do so much more than I had been able to do before. Just getting these little licks in your back pocket to pull out and transcribe into any key to make a solo really sound good is incredibly satisfying. Thank you!
Great lesson Rusty, after watching your lessons for a couple years now, it’s great to see you slow down these licks and give us a sort of guide to explore the fret board!
Thanks buddy! This type of lesson much you see what’s going on with the Notes. The slides the bends, hammer ons and pull offs, etc.. I appreciate the comment. Talk to you soon.👍
Thank you for your free advice, even if I only watch five minutes of your videos I always learn something new to add to my guitar playing, can you please let us all know what bands you played in , in the sixties and seventies, thank you Dean from England.
I just played in a few local bands in the late 70s and early 80s. Then I didn’t play for about 10 years. Once I got back into it in the late 90s I started having a lot more fun. Thanks for checking out my videos Dean. Thanks buddy 👍
This is very cool stuff. No one has ever explained so well how a few notes of the pentatonic pattern can be connected. Please give us more of it! Your videos are really helpful! THANK YOU! Leo from Germany
UA-cam is not sending my videos out to my subscribers as much as they used to. Thanks always for checking out my videos. Enjoy your weekend with your family Dave.👍
I notice that different players refer to pentatonic positions differently..eg Am pent from high e string fret 5 is not always called 1st position...so I now always refer to the positions by the shapes..so Rusty"s 1st and 2nd position for me is E shape D shape..as per caged.
I have always used the low E string as a guide. Many players do. I don’t use the caged system so that’s the way I’ve always looked at it. Thanks for checking out the video.
Rusty, your lessons are awesome. There are plenty of great tips that I can immediately start to use in my playing. You're engaging and easy to follow. Thank you very much!
Always on the lookout for blues lick ideas. I had to watch this vid a couple times for it all to sink in but this is one of your best Rusty. keep the blues licks flowing mate! Cheers from NSW, Australia.
Thanks a lot Rusty! Reminded me of some easy patterns you can throw into many licks I've been neglecting for a while in my playing! Really helped me a lot! Cheers, Martin
Thanks Rusty...I m becoming an addict to your channel...when it takes more than a week to a new post....I get kinda nervous....By the way....a special request....could you set a slow blues in C video like this one...I mean your soloing breaken down and explained with that calmying style...." Awesome video! What is your set up? I can never get it sounding as good as in your video. Maybe it is time for an upgrade on the guitar/amp but interested in what your controls are set to and if using any pedal.
Thanks a lot for checking out the video. In this lesson, I’m using the Carr Mercury V amp into the Waza tube amp expander. This set up allows me to turn the amp up to get the sound that you hear but at a studio volume. I’m also using some reverb from the Strymon BigSky. This is an expensive set up. But it sounds and feels great! Let’s talk soon. 🤛
