Dual-Gear Direct Extruder
The new dual-gear direct extruder with a better grip on the filament and strong pushing force for smoother filament feeding and more stable & accurate printing, which greatly reduces the risk of nozzle blockage and under extrusion, and printing well with PLA, ABS, PETG and even flexible filaments like TPU.
Larger Print Volume
The larger-than-average build volume of 320x320x400mm/12.59 x 12.59 x 15.74 inches gives you enough space to freely arrange your prints, print larger models, or carry out batch printing with high efficiency.
Auto Bed Leveling
ELEGOO Neptune 3 adopts a non-contact high precision sensor to collect the deviation data at points of the hotbed, and then automatically adjust the Z-axis height to compensate for any irregularities and unevenness of the printing bed. There are also hand-twisting knobs underneath the hotbed to fine-turn the print bed with a single twist, thus ensuring a perfect first layer print.
PEI Magnetic Platform
PEI magnetic platform with special coating and spring steel sheet for good adhesion and anti-warping, just gently bend the print steel plate to release or pop off the prints. The 420W high-power hotbed can quickly heat up to 100°C.
Z-axis Dual Lead Screw
The dual synchronized lead screws and dual-motor drive make the Z-axis movement more stable and smooth, avoid printing deviation driven by a single Z-axis lead screw motor, and improve printing accuracy and stability. With STM 32-bit motherboard, the X/Y/Z/E axes are all driven by silent drivers to effectively reduce the printing noise to below 50dB.
Removable Capacitive Touchscreen
The 4.3-inch removable capacitive touch screen can be operated by hand-held or fixed on the base. Built-in print model preview function to preview the model image before printing, and observe the printing progress by previewing the real-time comparison image of the printed model.

Having the max for 2 weeks now, can approve that it's amazing. 80A TPU prints super easy at 40mms which some say is impossible
Alr👌
@@moji3812 hows larger/taller prints working? A bit worried when you work on the heights, maybe that's why it doesnt go too fast. Rapidly wiggling would make acceleration difficult? Is the accuracy all right on taller models?
what's the space occupied by the printing bed on the max? i have a table 65cm depth and i do not know if i can place the printer on it.
Scared about his moving hitting the wall or something.
Can you help me? Thanks!
Do you know how to get a new bracket for the print head? The part that holds the wheels. I tried contacting Elegoo, but they did not respond to me after almost a month now.
Great vid
What table do you have those on?!
Thanks! The table is a 7'x 3' solid door, stained and riding on a standing desk frame. 🤙
@@Just_Print I saw the standing desk frame and was thinking that is the largest standing desk I’ve ever seen 🤣😂🤘
Lol neptune max first mod.... 50 inch deep table....
I see that you have all 3 printers printing detailed vases. I bought the Neptune 4 plus and am currently stuck on what slicer and profile settings to use do you have any advice on this?
These seem like a really good upgrade over the creality’s. Thanks for making this video! I feel like you have purchased or are given every printer ever made. 😅
I have a N3+ and have been very happy with it. My first foray into 3D printing. Looking to upgrade to a 0.6 nozzle if you have any suggestions.
Dude printed a Pro with his Max lol. Nice review. I have the Plus and the Max and they print great. TPU is no problem. I might change the hotends to all metal eventually or volcano style if I can. On the included SD card in another folder there's a tool holder that holds everything nicely and mounts to the spool holder.
what filament have you used for the vases?
Does klipper come pre-installed in the pro and plus like for the neptune 4?
Hello. Do they have a difference in speed?
Ordered the pro but I am hoping they can switch it out for the max before it ships. Can't wait to try printing.
Thank you so much for posting this it was helpful because I want to buy a Neptune 3 pro
Where do you get your printing files?
Nice one man, awesome video. New subscriber ✌🏻
Damn, that Neptune 3 Max looks so good.
Oh god Black Friday deals are making me sweat. I’ve wanted to upgrade from my ender 3 for awhile now. And I’ve heard good things from Bambu, elegoo, and if I look hard enough every other fdm printer. This is a quality video you compare it all side by side *chefs kiss. I think I’m leaning towards the middle ground as the max seems abit overkill for my purposes and my available space. Although the Neptune 4 is out and I’m not sure which I should buy
How to you get the multicolored filament
The Neptune pro came out a week after I bought my first 3D printer and I'm pretty angry about it
Honestly the worst feeling lol, makes me suffer from buyers remorse when that happens
Best for mask and helmets?
0:58 this is like the Christopher Walken of 3D printing.
Recently got the Bambu lab p1p and it has been insane though I’m eyeing the Neptune 3 max as my next printer unless bambu releases a larger printer
How big it your table top?
I want to know the exact noise difference between them , i want the quiet one as power supply of pro is smaller i dont know if its quiter or louder
they are all very quiet. dont worry.
The most amount of perceived noise is the high pitched by nature whiny cooling fans and given how the head is the same on all 3 i would bet my money they are extremely similar or close enough to be considered the same in terms of quietness.
I read they were gonna be available on May 1st, but I just checked on Amazon on the 30th of April, I took a good 2 hours before buying the Pro, but checked again at night, and no more available, I was either very lucky or they just got one for Amazon.
When will the Neptune max come back in stock
Love it, think ill go for the plus 😊
are you going to throw Klipper on yours any time soon?
Just got mine and I'm a happy little beginner. only the PSU fan noise is a pain in the bum
What are the dimensions of the plus and max?
Great video 🤘C an you give me the maximum dimensions of the printers when working? I would like to know how much space I need for them 🙂
Other reviews I've seen (Tom's Hardware IIRC) say the Max needs a total of 990mm (might as well say 1m) for the bed to go fully back.
Thank you so much this video with your clarification helped me
Just ordered a max for my first printer. I may have made a mistake I don't regret. Lol
no point as those printers are out of stocks for months! Elegoo what were you thinking???
sold out :(
Yup. And their amazing customer service these influences and reviewers keep talking about refuse to return e.ails on people trying to actually pay for the product. Great business modeling!
To print R2D2's dome in 1 piece you need a 500 mm wide bed so this 420mm just wont cut it. -unless you print the dome in pieces. we want 500 mm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you give me one for free
I think there is something strange going on in that company, maybe financial problems. very few printers appear on their site for sale, for example I haven't seen the plus variant for sale in any region for a couple of months.
But they continue to pump out printers to youtube influencers for promotion, what the fck is going on!
Chip shortage is still a thing
