My physician diagnosed me with vitamin D deficiency. I have been taking 10,000 mcg IU per table for nearly 5 years. When covid hit the USA I distanced myself from others & wasn't getting enough sunlight.Having vitamin D deficiency was frightening.
Same here. I was seriously low in vitamin D. I have been taking 50,000 IU of vitamin D once per week for many years. It was reduced once to 1,000 IU however, it wasn't enough for my body. I'm now back on 50,000 IU. I live in a very hot, humid climate and don't go out into the sun that much. I think this is the main reason why I get so low in Vitamin D. I get my blood checked regularly because of the high dosage I take.
@@lolalove39573: You might have a problem absorbing it. Sometimes people have taken VD. for a year and they couldn't get it in their system. To increase your intake might not work either. Try taking vD with something oily or even coconut oil just a teaspoon might be enough. Also take some potassium with it, might help. I'm beginning to question the quality of what I take. I get a lot of sun in the summer and that helps very much. Also if you do not have a gallbladder you can't absorb oils or fats. There are ways to overcome some of that problem too.

Telling people the best way to get Vitamin D is through exposure to the Sun, but then telling them it is important to wear Sunscreen, is very poor advice. Firstly, the Sun needs to be high enough in the sky for the UVB to reach the skin (aim for 45 degrees or higher), so it is very much latitude and time of year dependent, and secondly, Sunscreen blocks UVB. Basically, don’t slap on the Sunscreen immediately or you won’t produce any vitamin D. A rule of thumb would be half as long as it would take to burn in whatever Sun you are under, before applying Sunscreen, so that will vary considerably depending on where you are and what time if the day/year it is.
Sunscreen is one of many absolute scams pushed by Big Pharma/Big Oil (FDA approved petroleum-based ingredients and by-products) and the skin"care" industry. The Sun is your friend, not toxic sunscreen. Skin cancer rates have skyrocketed since its introduction. Our ancestors who spent entire days outside weren't dying from melanoma at the insane rates we are. People need to stop slathering carcinogens and endocrine disruptors like phtalates, benzene, titanium dioxide, 1,4-dioxane and PAH which seep into your bloodstream and slowly kill you.

Very informative video. Thank you. I am in my late 60's. Of late, I experienced the environment spinning around me for brief seconds. As my dizziness is very brief and mild, he suggested I take the supplement calcium with VitD3 & K2. I already take daily dosses for a week and I felt much better now. Is it that my body lacks Vit D too?
Dehydration I've heard is one of the most common causes of vertigo or dizziness. Make sure you put a touch of salt in your glass of water so that the water is retained in your tissues (and doesn't just pass out of your body). A second possibility is you may seriously be lacking potassium. Do you know the recommended DAILY 7:55 intake of Potassium is 4,700 milligrams? That's really hard to get. Most people are very chronically deficient in Potassium. Potassium is important for keeping us relaxed, calm and stable. "Potassium is to the nerves what calcium is to the bones." is an old health saying. Also....look into Magnesium. Take Magnesium Glycinate or ornitate, but NOT Magnesium Oxide! Getting plenty of Magnesium daily is also essential for our mental and physical stability and balance.
