"The earth will quake if just for a moment The rivers will run dry by the mire Embers left in the wake of the lightning A new life will be born in fire" sounds like a fucking badass prophecy. Love this song
This song is strangely hypnotic and calming when you hear it on the back end of the EP. After the madness that is the opening track you would expect anything that comes afterwards to feel kinda underwhelming, but it doesn't. Instead of going heavier they made the choice to close of the EP with an epic, melodious crescendo of a track. It kinda reminds me of Behemoth's O father O satan O sun in that way. A roller coaster of brutality and epicness.
Their new singer is absolutely amazing. Never heard of these guys until I heard their song into the hellfire on liquid metal. Now they're slowly rising to become my top 5 favorite deathcore bands
@Loren Means the reason you like CJ better is cuz you can understand him clearer but CJ doesn't have the range that Will does and Lorna Shore didn't agree with what CJ was trying to do
Also I'm more talking about how they've grown as a band and progressed, how this more sounds like a European blackened death metal. The song for the most part sounds different than every other song they have written. So I'm saying after three vocalists they are still getting better and trying new things. And that is rare. I do think CJ and Willl have similar vocal styles, where I think Tom Barber sticks out a little bit more as being more unique. I honestly can't pick one though they are all great.
Agreed. The band in itself have such an amazing way to make beautiful music and only continue to get better. After each album it’s like, “there’s no way they can top that” and then mind gets blown away with each new track.
@@AngelOfMorz420 Cj doesn't have range? Man you forgot the dude came from a slamming deathcore band after doing legit gutturals and lows all the freakin time to a blackened deathcore band that was based on doing like 80% of time high pitched and high screams and he did it legitimately better than all their stuff with tom barber?🙄😬
"Breathe life into the ashes". What a perfect way to describe how this band is not only rebounding from their setbacks, but outdoing their former selves. Congrats on the EP dudes, it's going to be on heavy rotation!
I am a 47 year old grown metalhead and have to live with a terrible curse, to love something so passionately and not be able to listen, share, discuss, and celebrate such a phenomenal band with friends and the every day people I am around. It has become an extremely small fraternity in todays day and age. The Best way I describe this music to people who look at me like I'm crazy for listening to this is that it's like Scotch the first time you taste it you spit it out and ask how can anyone possibly find enjoyment in this, it's disgusting. Then continue to sip and taste it a little stronger and a little longer until finally it becomes your preferred drink.
Never been a fan of deathcore, but damn Lorna Shore is something else. You can appreciate the many musical influences and the band is spot on how they incorporate them. Will Ramos vocals are incredible. I am a big black and death metal fan and I am still trying to find a good comparison, but hell maybe Will is just a category on its on. Hope he takes good care of his vocal cords. Amazing job to the band.
I love all metal and Deathcore seems to be the least creative of all the sub genres but when you find a gem like Lorna Shore it's mind blowing. Make Them Suffer is another one I really like.
@@jsmokem1276 Checkout "The Boy Will Drown" they're known being a technical deathcore band but they're like if Brain Drill had the jamey jasta of Hatebreed on vocals, specially their album "Fetish", fantastic band.
@@jsmokem1276 I understand completely. I think "deathcore" just follows a set formula that works and many just follow it, which makes it in a way "least creative", but I think this happens in all genres and sub-genres of metal. Again pretty sure there are some good "deathcore" bands, not meant to disrespect people that enjoy it. But Lorna Shore, I am conflicted if this is just "deathcore".
What happens if you ignore them? I've always told myself that if that happened to me I'd simply not answer the door. I mean what are they going to do? Take the time to get a warrant come back & break in to my place and turn down the volume.
This is a very important EP for the scene in my opinion. I was listening to a lot of Metal with my father since I was born - Children Of Bodom, Cradle Of Filth, Behemoth but also lighter power metal like Hammerfall and a ton of others, and then I deviated to Core, Deathcore, Metalcore in my teenage years. I Hear all the influences and it really brings tears of joy to my eyes. Lorna Shore with this EP might single-handedly bring all-important metal heritage into the new era for thousands of younger a new listeners. Outstanding musicianship, every member of this band. That Key change is just ecstasy.
Lorna Shore and Shadow of Intent are really leading the way for symphonic deathcore It would be nice if Winds of Plague brought back their Decimate the Weak sound too
@@blackstripesremedioscastro680 Hell no, man. They're brutal symphonic death metal, but they still have a bit of their deathcore sound in them as well.

@@actuallyasriel melodic black metal is where it's at. Hey if you know of any good instrumentals, let me know! Shadow of intent has an instrumental album but it is more melodic death core. Still fire though. Not knocking vocals but when I am painting I prefer instrumentals so I can focus instead of annoying my neighbors with a sing along 😅
I agree with this but the only problem I have right now is Will being overrated as a vocalist, he's amazing no doubt but cj was a much better fit for the band. Cj is alot better at manipulating his voice and using it.
To The Hellfire is getting all the attention, for good reason it is a good song, but I think this is the song everyone that likes deathcore should be talking about. Can't wait for some more Lorna Shore with Ramos up front.
When you think of all the things that comprise good metal, this song has it all. From the blazing fast drumming and harmonic guitar riffs / solo to the screeching growls / vocals and the cinematic Oprah chorus, this is one of the most beautiful and technical pieces of metal I've heard in a long time.

The guitars … well I truthfully wanna quit after hearing the writing skills of this song over immortal even you guys are fucking unreal and straight up the future of death core and metal in general bravo you are inspiring myself and millions of others to get there Shit together and keep practicing.. Today, I make a promise to myself - to reclaim my right to be heard and my right to pursue my passion regardless of anyones opinion! For others - petty achievements - but milestones for me!
The vocals and instrumentals in the chorus create such a beautiful sense of melody, and Will Ramos' acting/performance in this video just drives it home. So so amazingly well done.
The band leveled up not the vocalist, cj and will literally perform the same vocals They both do lows, highs, gutterals, and tunnels They are equal in terms of vocalist
People forgetting that melodic deathcore and deathcore bands with a symphonic black metal influence were spread all the way from the start of deathcore in the 00's to today. Lorna Shore (And Shadow Of Intent) are just bringing it back again and refining it.
@@kalam.23 Abigail Williams is an example of early blackened symphonic deathcore with melo riffing. Also of course Winds of Plague and Id maybe include The Breathing Process. This is godlike on so many levels. I am so thankfull to be able to wake up everyday to this kind of entertainment. We live in a golden era of many things. Thank you Lorna Shore for sharing this with us mortals… ❤️
Amen to that my friend. Golden Era of music, of which the best of it is somewhat concealed and away from the mainstream eyes, yes?
I'm 45 so I feel your pain bro. This is an absolute masterpiece. 👍🏿
Try Wolves of the throne room
@SGTBlain brother im with you. this combination of greatness has me literally crying.
Horns to you my friend.
"The earth will quake if just for a moment
The rivers will run dry by the mire
Embers left in the wake of the lightning
A new life will be born in fire" sounds like a fucking badass prophecy.
That’s actually a perfect explanation.
Beautiful
Their new singer is absolutely amazing. Never heard of these guys until I heard their song into the hellfire on liquid metal. Now they're slowly rising to become my top 5 favorite deathcore bands
His name is Will Ramos and he is insane!!
Rt
It is truly inhuman how Will makes those sounds emerge from his small body. I love it.
This band keeps getting better, and even after three vocalists now. That's rare.
Well said.
Much love from Mexico 🇲🇽🔥🖤
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🇲🇽🤘🤘🤘
yes, we care that you’re from mexico.
Feel ya. 46 here. ;)
i'm 54. but if you look at me im look like 30s 😊 ,still listening to metal. my son is into metal too.
Can't compare the old L.S to the new L.S
This Band is Fuckin Going To Outstanding Places 🤘👹🤘
Evolving with every release 🤘🤘🤘
I never even really liked Lorna Shore until Immortal lol I mean sometimes I'd put them on but I'm not a fan of Tom Barber's vocals
@@EightDeadlySins Tom Barber's vocals are great, but that's my opinion, and I respect yours..
@Paulo Bossan its my favorite song to play and the album is still really good.
@Loren Means Gold Liquid pouring on your face🤘👹🤘
Never been a fan of deathcore, but damn Lorna Shore is something else. You can appreciate the many musical influences and the band is spot on how they incorporate them. Will Ramos vocals are incredible. I am a big black and death metal fan and I am still trying to find a good comparison, but hell maybe Will is just a category on its on. Hope he takes good care of his vocal cords. Amazing job to the band.
I love all metal and Deathcore seems to be the least creative of all the sub genres but when you find a gem like Lorna Shore it's mind blowing. Make Them Suffer is another one I really like.
@@jsmokem1276 how is it the "least creative" genre? I think your ears are broke 👂🏻🚫
But Lorna Shore, I am conflicted if this is just "deathcore".
the last "shadow of intent" album has the same vibe - cooperating different genres into deathcore, i can highly recommend them.
Neighbors loved this so much, they invited the cops over and we're all head banging!
😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 savage 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣The best coment of 2021 🤣🤣🤣
What happens if you ignore them? I've always told myself that if that happened to me I'd simply not answer the door. I mean what are they going to do? Take the time to get a warrant come back & break in to my place and turn down the volume.
Im gonna make an animation of this and give u credit , your comment got me 🤘🏽💀😂😂😂
This is a very important EP for the scene in my opinion. That Key change is just ecstasy.
i think this is reminiscent of vital remains dechristianize (highlight is guitar solo from 2 20). like it?
Yeah, you got any more recommendations? Lololol
Lorna Shore and Shadow of Intent are really leading the way for symphonic deathcore
It would be nice if Winds of Plague brought back their Decimate the Weak sound too
shadow of intentent is melódic death metal*
@@blackstripesremedioscastro680 lol SOI is not Melodeath.

I didn't even know I liked deathcore until I heard this band. Now I can't stop listening! It's the symphonic black metal elements for me. Just magnificent. Gonna go listen to this on repeat because my kids are sick of to the hellfire now 🤣
me too
Sun Eater is definitely my favorite so far
SAME!!! Melodic black metal always strikes a particular chord and this EP is just hammering on it
@@actuallyasriel melodic black metal is where it's at. Hey if you know of any good instrumentals, let me know! Shadow of intent has an instrumental album but it is more melodic death core. Still fire though. Not knocking vocals but when I am painting I prefer instrumentals so I can focus instead of annoying my neighbors with a sing along 😅
@@beautifuldreamer0811 Listen to worm Sheperd
Will is a god damned monster. I will jam this EP on repeat until you give us more. Congrats guys, you deserve the notoriety.
I love a good Oprah chorus bro 🤘
@@tacoenvy you get a chorus! you get a chorus! and you get a chorus! everyone gets a chorus!!!!!!
Ok I don’t care if anyone reads this or not but all I have to say is this , I’ve played guitar for 20 years I’m normally into prog metal , hardcore , thrash etc . Will is a god but this whole band is straight up master class the drums in this track are godly the switch up’s honestly should make people think there programmed but there not . The guitars … well I truthfully wanna quit after hearing the writing skills of this song over immortal even you guys are fucking unreal and straight up the future of death core and metal in general bravo you are inspiring myself and millions of others to get there Shit together and keep practicing.. This felt a lot slower than To The Hellfire and that's perfectly fine. I was in complete awe during the entire song and the guitar solo felt extremely powerful. I love the direction that Lorna Shore has gone and can't wait for more tasty jams!
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK FELLAS!

This is not a song, this is HOPE brewing up in my Womb... and I'm only a man... a man giving birth to hope through this immaculate melody...
These dudes are brilliant musicians pushing the boundary of what deathcore should/could be. Love the classical elements and symphonics. They’re taking extreme metal and sophisticating it and I absolutely love it
yeah they’re following the Fleshgod Apocalypse school of extreme metal and I’m not mad at it great song
just discovering them and it's an astounding brutal piece of brutal metal that feed my inner anger to the way of a peacefull mind

To The Hell Fire was just the warm up. We are going to hear great things from Lorna Shore and Will Ramos. I know we will. Just wait and see.
Forrrr surrreee, I use to think nothing got more anticipating for me (recently) than slaughter to prevail, but holy fuck this band is owning, and suicide silence is getting back to heavy shit!!! Great time for deathcore! 😍

The vocals and instrumentals in the chorus create such a beautiful sense of melody, and Will Ramos' acting/performance in this video just drives it home. So so amazingly well done.
Where the people at who said the band wouldn't be the same without CJ?!
You were right. They levelled up

I’ve never heard a deathcore song that made me this emotional.
So true :')
Try to listen to Lorna Shore - Relentless Torment. It's the most emotional song of deathcore ever. As for me
@@ann_chor99 How about Radiance in the Light of a Dying Sun by Angelmaker? Also pretty emotional
True but whitechapel’s newer stuff also got a lot of emotion on it, Phil and Will are amazing
The layering of the synth behind the orchestral elements is top notch. Incredible song
And people hate when Rock musicians conceal their guitars under synths. Fuck!
the whole ep is like an opera in 3 parts, only pavarotti is replaced by a snarling demon and the orchestra has tendency to jackhammer. I love this.
The underlying melody is so satisfying. Add the fantastic talent of all the members and you get a song you can only loop and loop until infinity.
People forgetting that melodic deathcore and deathcore bands with a symphonic black metal influence were spread all the way from the start of deathcore in the 00's to today.
Lorna Shore (And Shadow Of Intent) are just bringing it back again and refining it.
