He used to throw local basement shows at his house in Northern New Jersey, which is also super cool. I’m happy how much appreciation and love he’s gotten from his drumming over the years.

Not sure if it's just that recording or not seeing this is the first time I've ever watched or listened to the man. Going to check more out for sure, I had no idea about them. Not sure whether it stands up to modern metal like this, but i remember as a teenager, my mates and I were amazed at the drumming in Cradle of Filth's 'The Forest Whispers My Name' (Vempire album version, as it's double time the original on their debut album.). If you haven't reacted to Gene Hoglan yet, you definitely should! Gene is the original Atomic Clock. He's played for Testament, Dethklok, Strapping Young Lad, Mechanism, and many more
Literally every time you stopped to comment on Austin's playing I was just thinking how much you were missing how unbelievably incredibly his playing was complementing the whole band and all the intricate parts. Lorna Shore is absolutely beautiful the way they work together. Fucking masters at their crafts.
This is the video reaction I’ve been waiting for, I saw Austin play a demo for Meini Cymbals and was I awe of his playing style, super chill, relaxed like he could do this sleeping. Heck I’m not sure he’s not sleeping. Would love to see a colab video with you both.
Funniest comments I’ve ever heard: 1. “Imagine being able to play whatever the fk you want, but not being able to download anything online because you can not pass the ‘I’m not a robot test’”. 2. “It’s too short, I need a Snyder cut of this”. 😂
I joined a metal group & found out about you & a whole bunch of other bands including Lorna Shore not too long ago. It has completely expanded my music knowledge & taste.
simply love his reactions, so much fun and compersion. Direct reactions from the heart and no playing games in combination with this level of knowledge and ear, is a fucking joy!
What I love most is that Austin did a US and UK tour with a slipped disc 😅 he did all this while his spine was screwed up for a US and UK tour wtaf. Machine!
"those toms sounds like thor mixed it and thanos mastered it" comparing it to gummy dr*gs? dude you are hilarious! 😂😂 being humble and respectful to other drummers. props to you drumlord
On of my favourite drum tracks to watch is Dan Preslands playthrough of “And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope” from his time in the band Ne Obliviscaris. Should check it out.
I have it on good authority - from Tank the Tech - that Austin is indeed a living, breathing human being. I, too, was utterly floored by his accuracy on the double-kicks.

Spencer is a monster!
Austin archey wrecks that guy
If you haven't reacted to Gene Hoglan yet, you definitely should! Gene is the original Atomic Clock. He's played for Testament, Dethklok, Strapping Young Lad, Mechanism, and many more
No way he wouldn't have heard *Gene Hoglan* yet
… let’s try not to lump Strapping Young Lad and Devin Townsend with ‘many more’ in future ay? :)
@HevyDevy101 dude I was tired when I made this comment and spaced SYL. No disrespect intended I assure you
I love the layout of his setup, like its exactly how I think would be the most ergonomic. for a right handed player this layout is just cream.
Not being able to download anything online cuz he cant pass the I am not a robot test 😂😂😂 I lost my shit right there!!
Literally every time you stopped to comment on Austin's playing I was just thinking how much you were missing how unbelievably incredibly his playing was complementing the whole band and all the intricate parts. Lorna Shore is absolutely beautiful the way they work together. Fucking masters at their crafts.
He can Not pass the i am no robot test 😂😂
This is the video reaction I’ve been waiting for, I saw Austin play a demo for Meini Cymbals and was I awe of his playing style, super chill, relaxed like he could do this sleeping. Heck I’m not sure he’s not sleeping.
Would love to see a colab video with you both.
the true sign of extreme raw talent refined through many years of experience
Estepario, check out my guy Alex Pelletier from a Canadian band called Despised Icon. Dude is amazing!!! Keep on slaying brother!
Funniest comments I’ve ever heard:
1. “Imagine being able to play whatever the fk you want, but not being able to download anything online because you can not pass the ‘I’m not a robot test’”.
2. “It’s too short, I need a Snyder cut of this”. 😂
He's actually a quadriplegic.
I joined a metal group & found out about you & a whole bunch of other bands including Lorna Shore not too long ago. It has completely expanded my music knowledge & taste.
My man is moving like Neo at the end of Matrix. Full calm.
Listen to his side project ! The songs are so godamn technical that he has to be awake for some of them in order to get them right
simply love his reactions, so much fun and compersion. Direct reactions from the heart and no playing games in combination with this level of knowledge and ear, is a fucking joy!
Could you please cover Overstepping by Belmont? Would be awesome to watch !!
Gracias por tu trabajo, es un placer escucharte tocar! Me encantaría una reacción o un cover de Mr Bungle con Dave Lombardo o con Danny Heifetz.
When my parents hear me try to play that fast they say its a sound bunnies make during mating season...
On of my favourite drum tracks to watch is Dan Preslands playthrough of “And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope” from his time in the band Ne Obliviscaris. Should check it out.
“Alkaline” an offering from II will be right up your alley for lovely fill work
8:38 'not sleeping anymore' dude looks like he's snoring
I have it on good authority - from Tank the Tech - that Austin is indeed a living, breathing human being. I, too, was utterly floored by his accuracy on the double-kicks.
Love How You Always Give Props & Admitt Things Tjat Are Tough.
You Are Definitely A Real MoFo brother🤙🤙
4:07 '' imagine how fast this guy can play when he's wake '' 😁
Probably the two best drummers out there right now. Amazing amazing amazing. This is what talent looks like. So fucking cool!!
