That was the longest and hardest part when I built my “55+” was the intake, carb, mounts and filter.. it was worth it tho. I gotta jump back on that then test it to see which of my 50cc racers are faster. Very cool content TW. Nice job on that saw
@@Houseworksaws Thanks Matt!!! Trailer Park 346 was a beast 💪🏻!! Agreed, the intake is a time consuming part of it, but it can make a dang saw shine, I'm about to start on the Husq 55 with the 5000+ 44mm P&C. I'll use the 55 or the 1st 5000+ I built depending on what is faster. SF is coming quick as crap.
@@dubbssawshop Thanks yeah Trailer park is a fun saw my one regret is I didn’t go race style with it instead I made it into a fun work saw. I did a mint 55 with a 5k/490 topend on it early spring. I was shocked how well it went and I think there’s more into for sure. There’s a vid or 2 on my YT page. I’ll likely end up with the 350xp or the 2152c I ran last year. Yes you’re absolutely correct SF isn’t far out
I bought a saw named Wen from Menards a few years ago. I called the company and they said they quit making parts for that saw five years ago. Do you know of any other brand name saw parts that would work on it? It’s a Wen lumberjack. 14” 38cc saw.
@@lassila3 I would, but the spark plug threads are pretty much stripped out and idk how long it would last without an actual repair job. That being said I have my other 5000+ that I would probably part with after SawFest this weekend.
👍👍looks stout to me!
Thank Ya CF!!! 👍🏻
Sounds good, cuts good, nice job on part swapping, still looks clean not chopped up.
She looks strong Dubbs. Keep it up.
Awesome! I love seeing parts swapping.

Ebay usually has parts for most saws.
@@christophercollins3460 Thanks much. I’ve never bought from eBay before. Is it trusted?
@@nicholasblohowiak29 Ebay would be the best place to look, I'll look into it. But it's probably one of the rebranded saws.
@@nicholasblohowiak29 eBay has always been good to me. Be sure to read the descriptions of the items before you purchase.
It's a good place to look WEN you need parts
Would you be interested in selling this saw?
