@ I’m only doing the G888 because I’ve had it on the shelf all this time but never really bothered to use it. It’s bad enough I have the OEM versions and don’t use those enough anymore. If I was buying a saw for that race I’d be grabbing a 3120 and having someone drill the carb for a H screw. Those 3120’s with an uncorking wake up big time. Hopefully you can snag one. If I see any I’ll hitcha up bud.
I ported a Chinese xl12 cylinder from amazon i think it was 49$ with piston, had that nikell plating and sucks trying to get it out of transfers to get to the cast!!
The numbers you have in the second cylinder will give better torque. Could you epoxy the intake on the first cylinder and get your numbers to about 78/80 then see where it runs.?
@dubbssawshop I think you'll see decent gains that way. I sure hope to see how much just that little bit changes it. I did a 55 with epoxy in the transfers to direct flow. I think I need to raise them some now. We'll see how it acts soon enough!
Thanks Dubb! This is awesome! Winter is getting closer now I want to get into saws again
Good lookn work
I’m really excited for the 120cc class. You should get a g888!
I'm still debating hard on the 880 clone. They both seem like great saws, both have their drawbacks and strengths. But the 880 seems more available.
Going for the gold!! I hope ur nephew likes his saw buddy
Heck I'm just trying to knock on the top 10 or 15. 👍🏻 He loves it and is still so freaking stoked about it. Little chainsaw man in the making!!!
@@dubbssawshop you will get there buddy and it's good to hear that 😁
👍👍👍
Power!!!
Need more power!!!!!!
interesting to see how that runs with the skirts on the cylinder.
Luckily I’ve had a blue 880 on the shelf for 3 years. I think I’ve started it twice lol 😆 I hardly ever touch my 120cc saws anymore
I may get the 880, 3120's look like they are out of stock everytime I look. Idk if I have bad timing or if they just haven't gotten any.

Sounds like you are going to be busy building saws

@@alltherpm yes it does!! Definitely makes the job like 6x harder.

Thought about this also. I think I'm going to do a bit of clean up on it and epoxy it here soon to see how it acts.

Are they doing 3120/ 880 clones for next year
Sure are, pick either one you want to build. I think that's great to have options.
Going to try my best to beat you next year!!
@@scottcrum6079 Heck yea!! That's what I like to hear!!! Competition fuels innovation and drive. Friendly Competition of course 👍🏻
