So helpful and incredibly true! This has been such a comfort to me as I battle through the aftermath and recovery of a toxic relationship at 50! I never understood the term “toxic relationship” before I experienced it first hand. Thank you SCG for being so honest and for speaking out on this destructive personality style, more people need to know about it.
I did the marriage thing 2007-2012 but had the smarts to get out before any children were conceived. 44yrs old single and childfree and Continuing to love it😊 Your life is yours on how you see fit As long as your making it an obligated responsibility to be the best version of yourself there's absolutely no reason to let anyone tell you anything different if so it's their opinion. Live the best life you can 🥂
Great video. Just let a good woman I was seeing go. She wanted more and I'm enjoying being single in my 50's, plus working on me and the things I want to do. Just couldn't give her the title she wanted.
Oh yeah can relate especially to #4. And it was hard mid covid to keep up with everything. Being the sole earner for 6-9 months. And then the relationship just flopping half a year later....
It’s better for me to not be involved with anyone, a lot of clean up work that needs to be done. And there’s too many losers in this world that are just out to hurt and abuse people.
2 weeks in after leaving. Messing with my head! Fighting hard not to doubt myself. I wasn't being valued and when I ended a 2yr relationship she let me go with ease and left my stuff outside. Yet up until that point she never said anything only my gut feeling told me to get out. I feel discarded like the last 2 yrs meant nothing. Any advice pls?

The only words I disagree with is the words "for awhile " in the title. There's no time limit.
