Dont throw out the pureed potatoes. Cook a few more potatoes till soft and mash them. Add to the row potatoes with a few eggs, a bit of potato starch and spices to your liking and make potato balls, stuffed or not stuffed with meat. Boil a pot of water, reduce the heat and gently put in the potato balls. Cook till soft and floating on top. (In Russia they make them elongated shapes and call them Zeppelins
potato strach looks simple and easy to make at home~ great content video dear Global Food Book (L8) great for baking recipe, thickening soup, for fish chicken meat batter and gluten free 😋❤️✨
Love looking for ways to make my own seasonings. Just bought a Jackfruit and i'm planning on extracting the starch out of the seeds, since I dont ever do anything with them. Thanks for the video!
Wow it was really nice presentation !!!! 😊👏 I too had done this experiment today. Although I had grated the potatoes on steel grater instead of blending and got 8 grams of Starch powder from 250 gram of potatoes 😄
Interesting! Thanks for sharing your experiment with us. Because this is starch, the potato pulp wasn’t added hence the reduced quantity. But I do have a video of a potato powder, feel to watch it via ua-cam.com/video/PjJ4ev17Xnw/v-deo.html
thank you for sharing this informative video with us, I have a recipe that called for potato starch and didnt know what it was or where to buy it after finding it on amazon i thought i bet youtube has a vidieo on how to make it and walla here you are 🥰
This is a great video, and I'm glad I found it. I have one question though. How much (weight wise) potato did it take to make that small amount of potato starch? That part's not criticism, just curiosity because I plan on trying it. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! 💗
Thanks for your compliments. Unfortunately I didn’t measure the weight of the potatoes before processing them. Give it a try and see how it goes. Best wishes!
im completely confused put the potatoe chaff on plate one minute dry its into flour, then sufdenly its back in square bowl is that what you squeezed out or add more water to the potatoe flour do this to the chaff instead of drying?
It’s not a long process when compared to how it is produced on a large scale. Sure give it a try if you have time. Thanks for watching and for your compliments

I don’t throw away the puréed potatoes. I dry and convert it to flour. Thanks for sharing your recipes with us
is that the same as potato dumplings? the method you mentioned adds eggs, though
Or, if you just grate the potatoes, you can make a Rösti with the potato shreds after you've extracted (some of) the starch.
@@Globalfoodbook1 how do you make flour after frying them??
