Oh god. So much similarities. In tamilnadu, even my grandmother had those grinding stone, filtering wooden basket. The dried flat flour, we make even today and use it.

The location is so scenic . Grandma is so hardworking but one thing I noticed, all the equipments and utensils she has been using are like from prehistoric period. I know to keep the essence of village culture u guys are using those. But look at those jars and buckets. They don't even have handles. She is carrying those heavy utensils. She may get spinal injuries during lifting. Hope u guys provide her more lighter utensils that can be easy to deal with
They are not from prehistoric. Even today our grandmother uses them. When we visit them we used to work with same mil.

以前的工藝,在現代科技發達的時代,會覺得費工費時。但那份單純實在,不偷工減料的過程,卻是讓人吃、用都放心。
其實以前很多的加工食品是為了加長食物保存的時間,純化的澱粉曬乾後能保存更久的時間。但前提是做這種加工要剛好是綠豆盛產地,否則特地去買綠豆回來加工成本會變高。
這視頻能讓我們理解做綠豆粉的原理,但對住在城裡的人來說不見得方便做,一來是工具不夠,環境不允許,而且更耗能源,阿嬤蒸熟豆粉是柴燒,鄉下地方柴火不用錢,但在城裡用瓦斯用電都挺貴的。
