But in pap making..the corn has to ferment...this one is fresh corn...I don't think the dry pap can be used for baking

If you are sun drying, use a black plate or something which has been safely painted black (like a black plastic plate). Black absorbs heat faster, so will speed up the drying process. Also on a black surface, it's easier to see to scrape up the corn starch.
