if you use hot water right away, especially on a synthetic cutting board its usually not a problem, but if its wood or you leave it for a while yeah rest in peace

Months ago, I found a recipe online for Korean Pancake mix. The ingredients were:
    Flour (AP or cake)
    Starch (Rice, corn or potato)
Baking Powder (if you want it to be a little fluffier, but not necessary)
    Garlic Powder
    Onion Powder
    Salt
    Pepper
Unfortunately, I cannot find the recipe and/or the ratios again. I do remember that the flour was in Cups, and everything else was in Teaspoons. MSG or Beef/Chicken powder could be substituted for the Garlic and Onion powders. Just put it in a bowl and whisk it together.
I just made a big batch, stored it in an air-tight container, and used it a few times for tuna and shrimp pancakes.
If you don't have a Korean market near you, you could mix your own.

So funny…and great recipe! Thanks for thinking of those of us who don’t have a Korean grocery store nearby. Lovely video, thank you Aaron and Claire! And Happy New Year!🎊

I was so sure it‘s basically eggs and kimchi. But there‘s no eggs at all. 😮 even easier. I live in Germany, so even getting Kimchi is not so easy. But I was able to snatch a small can of kimchi and hope I can make a tiny pancake of it. ❤ thank you for the recipe!
